We ordered few appetizers to share family style and the main entrees, along with beer and brought in our bottle of wine $30. corkage fee, also brought in a b-day cake. We had a great time chatting, drinking, and enjoying our meal, cake, stayed at the restaurant a bit longer but the owner and V was very accommodating, we didn't felt rush to get out. For appetizer we got the NY steak appetizer, 2 orders bone marrow, hamachi carpaccio, escargot, smoke salmon salad, mushroom crostini, For main entree we got natto pasta, kinoko pasta, lasagna, and the special of the day king salmon alla spinach. These apps and entree was enjoyed by all of us! I love the marrow, a work for taking out the marrow but it was worth it, very creative, the crostini bread with mushroom, a little on the salty side but cheese mushroom on bread soooo good! The Kinoko pasta, that such a fusion dish and loved everything about it, the king salmon pasta was super tasty, loved the angel hair pasta and spinach on that entree! All in all, everything about La Ciccia is great, I will be back since my hubby wasn't able to join us, I will take him for the next date night!

If I could pair that with a NY steak that would be perf! She said good...she had choke leftovers too. Niece had the chicken alfredo. She ate most of the noods and some of the rest. Could use more bread...baby ate like half that sucker. Overall pretty good...one day i'll do the kinoko...and steak.

The dish was hearty and satisfying, although my only complaint was that the shrimp still had their tails attached, which made them a little inconvenient to eat. My spouse ordered the lasagna, which arrived covered in a generous layer of melted cheese and Parmesan. It looked rich and hearty, but he found it a bit too gooey, with what he felt was too much red sauce and cheese. The lasagna noodles were also overcooked, taking away from the overall texture. For dessert, I had the Affogato. The creamy vanilla gelato slowly melting beneath a shot of espresso made for a simple but enjoyable finish to the meal. The contrast between the rich coffee and sweet, cold gelato was quite nice. Overall, it was a good experience. There were a few things that could have been better, but we'd definitely consider coming back again to try some of the other dishes.

It was light bodied, slightly acidic but with sufficient notes of red fruit to make it enjoyable. We ordered the Midollo Osseo, roasted bone marrow topped with pesto and served with toasted sourdough, and Cavoletti di Bruxelles, fried brussels sprouts in brown butter with Italian sausage, topped with dried cranberries, sliced almonds and Parmesan. Both appetizers were delicious! The bone marrow was unctuous and flavorful. The brussels sprouts were good but we boxed half of the order. My tablemate ordered the Risotto Funghi e Tartufo, that featured Porcini and other mushrooms, topped with sauteed foie gras, truffle oil and Parmesan. I chose Rigatoni Bolognese, featuring veal, pork and beef in tomato sauce with Pecorino Romano. The risotto was excellent; my rigatoni was very good, though I wished for a bit more tomato sauce. We boxed a large portion of the risotto. Dessert was a classic Tiramisu, and I had a cup of coffee. La Cucina's tiramisu is what we've been looking for ... one with lady fingers, creamy mascarpone, and an appropriate dusting of cocoa powder. We really enjoyed our meal at La Cucina. After a few minutes, I went toward the back to find a staff member, while another person in my party went toward the middle of the restaurant to get the host's attention. The host asked if we had been checked in, and when my sister explained that we hadn't been helped yet, she told us to go back and wait in the front. Her tone came across as somewhat condescending, and we weren't given any information about our reservation or how long we would be waiting. While we waited, we all noticed the host whispering to a server, who then looked directly at us. I don't want to assume what they were discussing, but given the interaction we'd just had, seeing her whisper to the server and then having the server look directly at us made the situation feel awkward and unprofessional. We eventually decided to wait outside, and about five minutes later, the host came out and seated us right at our reservation time. There were plenty of open seats on the patio, where we were ultimately seated, so it felt like we could have simply been acknowledged when we arrived and given some basic information about our reservation. Our server was friendly, but unfortunately, the service was minimal. He only checked on us a couple of times throughout the meal. We later found out that the host who talked to my sister was actually the co-owner of the restaurant, which made the experience more disappointing. I was taken aback by the lack of professionalism, especially seeing her repeatedly whispering with staff directly in front of us. Again, I can't say what was being discussed, but regardless, I don't think that type of interaction creates a very professional impression for someone representing their own restaurant. To me, it doesn't really matter how good the food is if the service is poor. Service can make or break an entire dining experience, and unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly impressive either, so there wasn't much to redeem the experience. For the price, I expected a lot more in terms of both the quality of the food and the overall experience. I understand the restaurant was busy, especially around the bar. However, the biggest issue was the lack of communication and professionalism throughout the experience. We were there celebrating a birthday, and unfortunately, it wasn't what we had hoped for. Overall, there are plenty of places where I'd rather spend this kind of money and receive both good food and service. I hope they take this feedback seriously and work toward creating a more welcoming and professional experience for their guests. I'm not leaving this review simply to criticize or tear down the restaurant, but I do think businesses should be open to honest feedback and use it as an opportunity to improve. Our meal was brought out in a timely manner and Grace was an attentive server. The Caesar dressing is perfection! The diavolo sauce was delicious and just-right spicy. We loved the meatballs and the fettuccine was cooked perfectly. The pizza!!!!! Wow. Just the right amount of crisp in the crust and the toppings were a delicious combination of flavors. The focaccia with marinara could have been a meal for me. The bread was hot and crispy while also being soft and savory. I couldn't get enough of the marinara. We had a lot of leftovers and ate some for dinner and still have more for tomorrow. Repetti's will be a new place for us to dine and bring friends as often as possible. I said I'm fine. Now I'm sitting at a bar down the road , the drinks aren't as good, food definitely not nearly as good. Not sure why it took this to make me write this review but Rigo has been and remains one of my absolute favorite places to go!! My Mom Owned. 3 restaurant so I mean it when I say it!!!

5 stars for the servers, -5 stars for the bald-headed gremlin in charge Let me start by saying the servers here are absolute angels. They were running around like caffeinated gazelles, making sure everyone was happy, drinks full, and orders on point -- all while clearly being understaffed and under-supported. Now let's talk about the real issue: the manager. Picture this -- a bald-headed dude stomping around like a bootleg Gordon Ramsay with zero charisma, yelling at his staff like they were the problem when they were literally holding the whole place together with sweat, prayers, and iced tea refills. I told him straight up, "Hey, maybe show your staff some appreciation -- they're working hard." And he goes, "I'd rather be in my office than out here." My brother in Christ, that's the problem. Moral of the story? Servers: amazing. Drinks: solid. Manager: looks like an egg and acts like a boiled one. Tip your servers extra -- they're earning every damn penny. read more

We happened to walk into this place by accident. But so happy we did! The service was awesome and sitting by the window bar got us "people watching" while we waited for our food. I've been there 3 times. This restaurant struggles with consistency in their service and food. I cannot go there anymore since I don't know if the meal I want is what I am going to get. The second time, the food was also good but here's where our problem came in: our appetizer of chicken wings (delicious! we had them both nights!) was no sooner put down on our small table when out came our entrees. There wasn't really room for all of the dishes and I had to do some creative stacking. Now we had the choice of either eating our hot appetizers (and who wants to eat cold chicken wings?) or letting our entrees get cold while we ate the wings. Speaking to our server about our displeasure really gave us no satisfaction. She basically shrugged that that sometimes happens. We had specifically asked for the wings to come our as our appetizers. She told us that Japanese diners like to share their plates so they are used to bringing everything out at once. I have to say, I understood what she was saying but she did not have any empathy with our frustration at having to eat cold food. So here's my tip: go to Goofy's. The food is really really good. But if you order an appetizer, make it very clear to your server that you want that to come our well before your mains. Also, to Goofy's: a little empathy can go a long way to defuse a perceived slight by a customer.

I think they were probably short staffed but still kinda sucked though. I think overall, my personal experience was just okay. I'm not sure if I would try it again because it wasn't the best food wise. But it was nice to try it at least once.
