After a warm greeting we were seated at a large banquet with view of entire restaurant but separated from other tables. Started with delicious Caesar salads with anchovies and delicate dressing. Main courses were 6 large grilled sea scallops au natural; as good as it gets and 2 Ke'es crabcakes that were crab. 2 glasses of a very nice house Chardonnay @ $6 each completed this well prepared and well served , fine dinner. Although We were totally satisfied they comped us strawberries and cream with a candle since it was a B-Day celebration dinner for my wife. As sides , we recommend the mashed sweet potatoes and spinach Maria a signature house special included with entrees. Total cost with tax and tip a very special $80 for both. This is one of our favorite special occasion restaurants. We always go 20 minutes before our reservation to have a drink at the bar. The room is beautiful. The crowd is older and a bit more sophisticated than other places nearby. To start with we usually get the shrimp and the Caesar salad. We most often get lobster and steak but their swordfish and yellowtail snapper is delicious as well. I look forward to their Spinach Maria as it is decadently rich and creamy. My wife and I enjoyed celebrating her 40th birthday. We had the tomatoe and onion salad as a starter. Very delicious. The balsamic dressing was thick and flavorful. For our main course, I had the seared tuna with creamed spinach and mashed sweet potatoes. The portion size was generous and the flavor was good. My wife had the nut crusted snapper. She enjoyed it. The only issue was that the prices were a little high and the waiter did not let us know the salads could be served in 1/2 portions. It was a bit too much food. Overall really good food. read more

This is a very good restaurant. Their lobster tails are delicious and so is their creamed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes. They have a great bar. I think it's a full bar. Don't quote me on that. The waiters and bartenders are nice but service can be slow. Usually it's not slow unless it's really busy. It's close to broken sound country club and a couple other neighborhoods where it's within walking distance if you just feel like walking for some reason. I came here once with my parents, sister, and brother in law. I thought that the food was good, but I wasn't falling out of my chair for it. This place seems like a big Century Village/old rich Boca Jew retiree hangout, as if they offer an AARP discount or something. They were overflowing out the door when we drove up so I knew it was good. I had the broiled seafood platter, which was my favorite price when going out to eat. Market price. On my palate was a Maine lobster tail, 2 baked stuffed shrimp, and a crab cake. I do have to say that you get a lot of bang for your buck here. Most upscale restaurants are a la carte, but each meal includes 2 sides. And it wasn't as expensive as other upscale restaurants. The service was also good. She ordered Caesar salad, which she liked & I ordered the house salad. It came with mixed greens, shredded carrots, a couple of croutons & two, yes 2 grape tomatoes. Tasteless even with Bleu Cheese dressing. We both got the bronzed snapper which came with 2 sides. It looked pretty with grill marks but it was so sweet & the fish was so mushy that we both said that this could be hamburger, talapia or who knows what. Ke'e Grill was such a disappointment!!! We found the menu online and were immediately drawn in based on the seafood selections especially the fish entrees. We've been to so many places these last few months trying out a bunch of delicious fish dishes that when we saw Macadamia Nut Crusted Yellowtail Snapper we knew we had to try it. Sad to say for a dish that should be exploding with flavor which included a Tropical fruit salsa it was the most BLAND dish I've eaten in as long as I can remember! As a chef and one that specializes in Caribbean cuisine and super familiar with the flavors on this dish I couldn't understand how it had such little flavor. I got nothing even after emptying the salt shaker and squeezing the last possible drop of lemon juice from the wedge they provided. Suffice to say I've had better food at a hospital. The service was the only thing of note, super professional and attentive although the hostess was extremely bratty and completely ignored to recognize us let alone greet us despite standing in front of her for a solid awkwardly uncomfortable 5 minutes. read more

This place has consistently excellent food and attentive wait help. Everyone from the front desk girls to the waiter seem happy to be working there and that's refreshing. Service is on point and not rushed but not dragged out either. The restaurant is well lit and tastefully decorated. It's a place that knows how to make a drink. Had the American Lemonade last night and it was expertly made. Too many restaurants pour poor drinks. This is not one of them. My only wish was that they serve cappuccino. We were at the KEE Grill last night for the first time. The food was excellent, our server Shanon was fantastic. My wife had snapper and I had scallops, both Were delicious. I'm a foodie, we eat out 6 nights a week, so I think that I know what's really great when I see it. The place was mobbed but I saw something that you don't often see, the manager was setting tables. I have not been to this restaurant in quite awhile. i must say I don't think I'll ever go back. The food was at best mediocre. We went to dinner with another couple, they had to send their tuna back it didn't taste right. I order the snapper with the mashed potatoes. I swear the mashed potatoes for powdered. The other thing is my husband ordered shrimp stuffed with crab meat. It was 99% breadcrumbs and 1% crab meat. Also the desert we had which was strawberry shortcake was substandard with Cool Whip as a topping. Our waiter Jason was very nice! All in all it was a meal I could've missed. read more

I'm not surprised to read another negative comment re: manager Nancy's insulting remarks about "the elderly." My grandmother (who has a better memory than anyone in my family) made a 5:45 pm reservation for the Early Bird special. We received a call that day "confirming" our reservation, but now it was at 6:15 pm - too late for the special pricing. We asked to speak to a manager, and Nancy was rude from the beginning. She insisted my grandmother was mistaken and said several times, "the elderly get confused." My whole family was appalled by her condescending and unprofessional attitude. No meal is worth the bad taste left by this experience. Don't bite the hand that feeds you, Nancy. read more

Excellent food, portions that actually satisfied my husbands appetite. Experienced bartender ( very nice pours) and server that helped earn the 5 star rating. What a wonderful experience. I generally dont frequent this type of restaurant preferring a simpler meal. This was however well worth the higher cost. The staff are real professionals, not bubblegum chewing college dropouts counting the hours to closing time. The room was smartly appointed with comfortable tables and perfect acoustics. You can hear only people at your table speaking without a need to raise your voice. Mostly seafood on the menu but plenty or inviting meat options. Dinner for two, one shared appetizer, two cocktails, one shared desert, tax and tip..just over $100 with the early bird menu. I look forward to returning. read more

I ordered the lamb chops and paid $25. What I received was a very small rack of lamb. This would have been a nice appetizer, but certainly not a meal and this was not a lamb chop.l. I wrote a letter explaining the difference between lamb chops and rack of lamb and stated my disappointment. I received a call from a chef who somewhat but didn't totally agree with my comparison. He gave me an insulting offer to come back and order it again and promised more meat on the lamp chop (which is really rack of lamb). Maybe they will change the menu to be more accurate for the lamb. Some of the descriptions on the menu should be more descriptive. This way the customer is aware of the main ingredients or spices, so the they can avoid what they do not like. Aside from these problems , generally the food is good there. It is a bit overpriced, but the early bird is somewhat reasonably priced. The filter put on this Yelp concerns me about the entire filtering process. Their explanation isn't very good in their FAQ. read more

I went here on Labor Day with family for the Early Bird specials and was pleasantly surprised. For I think $24 I got a large Maryland crab cake, 2 stuffed shrimp, and a 6 oz lobster tail, with sweet poitato mash and spinach maria (creamed with some crust on top). Everything was super tasty, portions were large, the service was good, and so was the price (other specials were less $$ and included salad as well). It's a fine restaurant unless you have any allergies. They made almost no accommodations for Gluten intolerance and there is Soy in nearly everything. Even having spinach without breadcrumbs sprinkled on top was a big deal. Very disappointing. read more

Very well decorated restaurant . We got the early special prices are very reasonable. I had the crab cake and it was excellent.My wife had the lamb and it was superb. The salad was good as was the vegetables and potatoes. The rolls were ex ellen too. The place was very busy as well it should as the service and quality of the food were excellent. This was our second visit. The first visit was good enough to make is return. The service was fantastic. We arrived for our 7:00 reservations and were seated immediately, which surprised me since there were people waiting. Our waitress was spot on in every aspect. My wife got her fav the stuffed snapper thingy, as I decided to go with my favorite steak the rib-eye. My two sides were the roasted garlic mash, and the spinach Maria. The steak was only OK, I have had better at home (I hate paying big bucks for something I can do better), I have never had roasted garlic mash potatoes that tasted like instant potatoes. The spinach Maria was OK n though I wouldn't go back just for that. Oh ya we had the volcano shrimp for an app, not sure where it got name but not what I expected and I would not get it again. so the reason for 3 stars, first time there I had seafood and it gave us good memories, the service was spot on, and my wife enjoyed her meal as much the last time. Always a delicious meal with great service. I made reservations in advance. Our table was ready when we arrived and the manager assisted seating my mom who uses a walker. Everything coming out of the kitchen looks amazing but, I specifically go here for their cioppino, the best I've ever eaten! My mom always gets the grilled scallops and my daughter always gets the filet mignon with bernaise sauce. The spinach Maria and the yummy garlic rolls are a must. Recently moved back to Boca Raton and decided to try Kee Grill since we live very close. It was amazing! My boyfriend and I sat at the bar and enjoyed dinner. The bartender was friendly, knowledgable and attentive. In addition the GM was very helpful and guided us thru the menu. We will definitely be back! The seafood was wonderful and so was the wine.
