Very disappointing experience all around. We ordered the eggs Benedict with cheesy grits for the side, along with the French toast, bacon and potatoes combo. Food took a few minutes longer than normal but no biggie. The eggs Benedict was lukewarm at best. Only had a very small amount of a not very exciting hollandaise sauce. The egg was overcooked and more resembled the egg on a McDonald's egg McMuffin. The English muffin was barely toasted but was extremely chewy and difficult to cut through. The French toast was basic and mediocre. The bacon was greasy and cold and also very thin. The potatoes were decent but again greasy and cold. The cheesy grits looked good but they had absolutely no taste whatsoever. With all the new breakfast spots open along St. Rose Pkwy, I don't think this will be a repeat visit spot. read more

Upon entering the place, we were surprised how spacious the restaurant is and how contemporary decor is, very bright, inviting and had great energy due to the color choices and decor. It was energizing and relaxing at the same time. Most of the seating are booths and only a few chairs connecting to booths. They also have a great big patio for you to enjoy your delicious breakfast outside . The food was served very quickly and it was delicious. We had: Stuffed French Toast with Nutella and an Apple cinnamon waffle. They were not too sweet, just the right combination of sweet and flavor. We also had: the bacon cheeseburger- the bun was great - definitely high quality and the patty was perfectly cooked the way we liked it. We also had : Italian chicken panini , Cheese steak panini and Carolina chicken wrap, it was freshly made and you can taste it in every bite, definitely a must try! The flavors were satisfying and the portions were great too. The service was exceptional, our waitress, was exceptional-one of the best servers we have had in a long time. Quality of the food was on point. Omelette was not oily at all. Love the thing cut steak, the perfect amount of green onions, and the cheddar grits really filled me up with its creaminess. We had a great breakfast experience here overall. The food items we ordered were delicious and definitely the highlight of the visit. The coffee was okay, but that's one area that could use some improvement. The service really stood out, especially our table busser, Alejandro, who was awesome and very attentive to our table, even more so than our server. The general manager was also great and quickly helped resolve a small issue we had with our check, which we really appreciated. The location was nice, clean, and welcoming. We were received with a warm greeting immediately at the door. I was anticipating a bit of a wait on a Sunday morning, but nope. The place is bright and the seating area is clean. I like the huge windows that allow you to see the kitchen. Service was fast and efficient. My husband had a veggie omelette that he claims was the best he's ever had. The home fries are real potatoes, not the hard frozen squares. So good!!! I had the basics...a waffle, eggs, turkey sausage and the home fries. Everything was really good and fresh. I really wanted to like this place since it was new but unfortunately the over cooked poach egg on my eggs Benedict was the start of it. The manager was around and saw I was unhappy with the eggs. He offered to remake my eggs but I declined it since I was already eating the meal. After eating finishing one of the eggs Benedict I noticed a black spot on my ham I immediately spit out the one I was eating and hold n behold there was mold in the ham. I showed the server and she grabbed it with her finger and brought it to the back. I don't think that was sanitary. The manager came over after 5 mins and apologized. He said that he checked the meats in the back and all the dates were accurate. He didn't know what happened. He did comp the meal. The service was okay, our server was nice but we had to ask 3x for our water. We finally asked another server which he got us water. We also had to ask for our side of whip cream a few times. The decor inside was nice. Obviously it's new and they have their grand opening soon. There is some training and quality checks of their product that needs to be address. Overall I will not be back. I definitely wanted to like this place because the blue diamond location had such great reviews. read more

This place is good. The food is very good. Odd up charge. Sourdough toast 50 cents. Which was solidly good toast. My only suggestion is bring your coffee if like a refill . Their cups are tiny compared to other breakfast joints. Every time I come here, I put empty at edge of the table. And I flag someone down to ask or feels like begging for a refill. They are nice about it but it hard to do this when you want 2-3 cups of coffee with your meal. The hot & ice coffees are very good. It is good coffee.. And they are friendly when ask for to go cup. No charge but I like enjoy my coffee with my meal. We paid $ 75 for 3 meals which normal for this area for good big size portions. So come for food being large or trenra size coffee here. read more

Today, my wife and I decided to try the new Keke's on St. Rose Parkway. When we walked in, we noticed it was a new place, and looked very bright and clean. We ordered the French Toast combo which comes with your choice of eggs, potatoes, and meat. We opted for the Banana Caramel Pecan French Toast. Also got a ham steak. My wife ordered the classic combo which came with eggs, potatoes, and toast. By this time, my coffee cup was empty, and my server, Trinity, was nowhere to be found. Finally after several minutes, someone came to bring us our meal, and I asked him for a coffee refill. As for the food, here's my opinion: the French toast was flavorful, but unfortunately, it was cold. When I say cold, I don't mean lukewarm. It tasted as if it had been sitting around for a while, and truth be told, it was a long time from ordering to receiving our food. The rest of the breakfast was warm, but not hot. Trinity never once came around to ask if everything was okay. Otherwise, I would have told her. There are too many choices for breakfast in this area, and this is the first one I've been truly disappointed with. read more

I had created my own omelet and when they gave me my plate I ate 2 bites and then realized I had the wrong plate. I told my waitress (she was so nice) I got the wrong plate but didn't want to make a big deal about it, I just wanted to let her know because when you create your own omelet they charge you for everything you add in there including sourdough toast! (It comes with toast) Anyway, I ate it. Wasn't great. When we were finished we got the check and I was still charged for my original plate. I had told my waitress about it so she went to ask her manager to see if I could get some kind of discount since my original plate did come out to almost $19 for an omelet. And he said "No, because I ate it" I thought that was ridiculous. Because of that I will not be coming back to this restaurant. Do not recommend. read more

The coffee is rich and flavorful, the Eggs Benedict is legit (perfectly poached eggs and killer hollandaise), and the extra-crispy home fries beat hash browns any day. The Sunshine Bowl is basically a bigger, better version of Panera's parfait--a total winner. The restaurant is spotless with a calm, relaxing vibe. The music is always at the perfect volume--noticeable but never loud. And a special shout-out to Oscar, who greets everyone with a big smile and such positive energy that he instantly brightens your morning. He makes starting the day here even better. Came to check this place out. It was very clean. It was dead when we came. Staff are very nice. Got the chocolate chip waffle which was good. My son says the French toast was like a 7/10. Hot chocolate and coffee was ok. The grip I have is that I got the waffle combo with eggs and bacon. They brought the eggs and bacon half way through my waffle. I told them they can keep it.
