I have been a client at the salon and spa for 15 years, and have never complained once until a recent hair issue. I absolutely love Dora and Angelina and my issue isn't with them. It's with the management. Because I didn't file my complaint within the 7 day time frame, I was totally dismissed by management. (Who by the way said they called me "numerous times" and emailed me to discuss my concern, but I have no record of either. I have checked all my missed calls, spam and trash). When I spoke with the manager, she basically made it seem like it was all on me, even though the stylist that I saw that day did my color a different way than my usual stylist and I was just trusting her process. I didn't realize applying dry vs. wet was a thing and the way the color was applied didn't cover my grays, which is what I asked the stylist to do. I wasn't looking for a full refund, but an apology and maybe a partial discount would have made me feel better about having to spend hundreds of dollars over 6 weeks to correct my color. When I asked if they could make an exception, I was immediately shut down because I waited too long, even though I mentioned I have never complained ever and I was confused about the color process they used. What happened to the customer coming first? I'll be looking for a new salon. read more

I did not want to have to leave a review but after TWO emails and no response, I feel that I am left with no other option. March - I had a color correction. April/May - went in every 4 weeks to have my roots done June- mentioned that my roots were a lot darker than the rest of my hair - stylist said that this was a problem with the new brand of color Keldara was using. She said that she could fix this when she washed out my hair that day after having my roots done again. After sitting for 35 minutes with color on my roots, she came to tell me she could not fix it that day and I would have to come back. She was not available to fix it the next day- earliest that I would be able to go is July 18, I already had an appointment the week of July 26 so decided to just keep that. Then I get a call about a week later saying that she could not fix my hair during that appointment and the earliest she can fit me in is the week of August 8. After numerous back and forth calls with the staff, I finally went into see another stylist. I absolutely could not wait for this to be fixed by my original stylist - I was incredibly embarrassed by how my hair looked- there was about an inch of black roots around my face and part- I have light/medium brown hair. It took 2.5 hours for her to fix my hair - the new stylist did an excellent job so I booked with her again 4 weeks later. August 2- I called Keldara as I had received a text confirming my appointment for the next day for 5pm. I spoke to the person at the front desk asking if my appointment was changed because I knew I booked it for 5:15 so I could get there after work. I was told that the appointment was changed to 5pm but I had not been called. This is ridiculous that I was not notified - I said I could make it but would have to leave work early. I then received a call later that day saying the stylist could no longer make my appointment for the next day and I had to reschedule. My experience at Keldara has been horrible- the lack of consideration for people's time is appalling. From the horrible coloring experience, to the continual change in my appointments, I will never return this salon. read more

I've been here for two services: haircut and massage. The scheduling process was extremely easy and I was able to book easily online. They are taking Covid protocols seriously. You sit in your car until they call you 5 minutes prior to your appointment and review questions to make sure you're safe. The massage was amazing and the masseuse, Holly, was professional. I highly recommend her. My haircut was quick and the girl did a great job. Price point was reasonable. I'll be back for both services and would like to try nails at some point. read more

It was a cute outing, pretty much all spas are similar to me. What really stands out is the customer service, the products, and the uniqueness and variety of services they offer. I wasn't wowed by this spa but the staff was nice and the decor is appropriate for a calm spa experience. I got a 45-minute full body massage medium pressure, very relaxing, fell asleep. The oil that they used was ok, nothing special. My sister's friend goes often for facials and my sis mani and pedi were on point! After our treatments we had lunch in a cute party room, prefect for birthdays and bridal shower. The pricing is about regular for a spa which is why I rarely go, but this was a nice treat. read more

Mirna really takes great care of the client by being careful to not cut the skin, using sterile and disposable implements. NO CHEESE GRATER will be used here (as it shouldn't be used anywhere!) very relaxing foot and hand massage. Plenty of time booked for services so no one is rushed. Was so impressed with the nails service/Mirna that I booked a couples massage! The massage therapists Holly and Kelly S were truly the most wonderful! Very experienced and made us feel immediately as ease. What a great experience. I've rebooked with Mirna a few times now and love how she does my nails. I went to this salon for a scheduled massage the night before my wedding with my mom. When I went into the massage room excited for this massage we had been planning I told the masseuse I was pregnant and was then refused the massage. I was told that it is too dangerous because I am In my first trimester. I have since confirmed with my doctor that it's completely fine as long as I tell them I'm pregnant. But really she couldn't even rub my back or give a gentle massage? Needless to say I left upset and stressed out the night before my wedding. read more

* this review is specifically about the eye lash lift and tint service* I'm not one to leave negative reviews but I want to make sure others hear my experience with the lash lift and tint service. The salon was very well kept and the technician I had was delightful, however, the service itself came out less than ideal. I have eyelashes going in every direction, and one of my eyes the eyelashes are crimped, not even curled. Its been about a year and a half since i got my eyelashes lifted, but I've been more than handful of times to other places and I have never had a problem. I also paid way over (about $40 more) than I normally do for this service. When I called the salon, they said I could come back to see if the tech could try and fix it, which was nice of them to offer. However after doing some research, if a lash lift goes wrong, experts recommend waiting 6-8 weeks to avoid over processing and I wanted to avoid it coming out even worse since I have my bachelorette party this weekend. I'm not one to ask for a refund but it would have been the right thing to do to offer at least a partial refund. Looking back I wish I went elsewhere to someone that specializes in this treatment specifically. I would recommend this salon for other services but not for this one specifically. read more

I have had two massages here, my most recent on Friday 4/19/19. My first massage was good... good enough for me to schedule another appointment but not with the same person. The massage was good but I was not too impressed to book with the same person. My second massage was with Holly!!!!!! It was amazing!!!!!!!!! Omg it was a 90 minute massage was I was sooooo pleased and relaxed. Holly was attentive and very thorough. I got a relaxation massage and it was everything! She even massaged my rough feet (the first one avoided it hahah) and I knew then that she was a keeper!!!!! I will be getting ALL of my massages with Holly from now on! Got a haircut here. Since my stylist was 15 mins late, the cashier automatically took 20% my bill. I understand things happen and I applaud them for having a good system/policy to ensure I leave as a happy customer. My hair looks awesome after a good professional blow out, just wished I have better skills to replicate it. But even with my non existent blow drying skills, I did look slightly more put together after the cut. Definitely would consider returning for my next cut. read more

I have been going here for pedicures since pretty much after they opened, the place has expanded to maybe twice the size it was then. i am now out west and find it hard to trust the salons, as i now have nail fungus they have given me out here in the West. i went to Keldara recently while visiting friends in New England and the service is still excellent. They are ultra clean and do an excellent job. And i know as i've been to places in Texas that hurt me and then i had a little infection next to my nail. My son passed away unexpectedly last week. My dearest friend encouraged me to take care of myself in preparation for the wake and funeral. Three hours before needing to meet with funeral director, I called Keldara to make an appointment. I explained the urgency. Nothing was available. The receptionist asked me to wait on hold. I really wanted to have a nice hair cut. I had a lot of grey after the quarantine period, so I made a hair appointment at Keldara. The reviews were excellent. My experience was not so much. It's a long story on why, but I had to get my hair done in two phases. I got it cut two weeks ago. At the time of the cut, I had a consult on the color. I told the young stylist that I wanted to lighten up my face, because I felt so old and not attractive. I told her that my mother and boyfriend thought my grey hair looked nice, and I didn't entirely hate it, but I wasn't ready for it. I told her that I wanted to have some highlights and maybe low lights so that I could feel attractive for the summer. I literally told her that I wanted a "F*ck me" hairstyle. She laughed. I could tell that she thought it was cute that a middle-aged woman would say something like that. She said she knew exactly what she was going to do for me. She said that she would give me a partial foil with (I think she said) honey color to compliment my natural brown. I was really looking forward to it. Today when I went into the salon, I noticed that she was only covering layers of my hair. When she got around my face, I saw that she was not coloring a lot of the grey around my face. I asked her what color she was going to use around my face. She looked confused. I asked her about my greys. She said that they would shine through and "sparkle." I said, "Um, no. I don't want grey." She looked alarmed and said that she would not have time to color my grey. I said that that was why I was there. She got her manager. The manager was not very nice to me at all. In fact, I think she was a polite but pushy/nasty (I don't want to use a swear word online). She explained that keeping the greys is what "highlights and low lights" are and said she didn't expect me to know, since I'm not a hairstylist. (I mean, I might not be using the correct terminology, but other hairstylists in the past understood that I didn't want monochrome hair and wanted a variation of browns. I certainly didn't want to be grey.) Anyway, we agreed that they would add a semi-permanent of my natural color around my face to get rid of my grey halo at least, but she said that I would still have a lot of grey, as they didn't have time to cover my grey. I said OK. If you include the hair cut two weeks ago and the color today plus the tips (including one to the hair washer), I paid $279 for this mess. The girl was very nice, but I want to cry. This is NOT a F*ck me haircut. I just want to cry. I mean, look at these after photos. Would you be happy? On the plus side, this place was wicked clean and spacious. My hair stylist was sweet and the cut is OK. Everyone was friendly except for that horrible boss woman. I believe she said her name was Donna? Horrible customer service. Man. read more
