This is a very cute place to come to. Whether you want a small bite, coffee, study, or all of it! They have a nice lounge area and the staff is friendly. Their coffee is very good!

Kendall's is such a refreshing improvement over its predecessor Charlie's Best Bread. Kendall's is nice decorated, has delicious stuffed breakfast sandwiches, kolache (similar to danish), and other treats I'm looking forward to trying! They also took over the spot next door and made it a lovely lounge area that has so much potential for art shows, game nights (they host bingo!), meetings, etc. I've been two days in a row and might be back tomorrow!

Lovely bakery with a very art-inspired inside. The hologram art is very unique, and the feel to this place feels mágical! We bought some bread, a couple pastries and a cookie. The rhubarb in the pastries was absolute gas. Highly recomend Kendalls, you won't be disappointed!

01-21-2025 I stumbled into this place by accident while dropping off something at UPS next door. Loved the decor, very inviting! Cookies are served right out of the oven while it's still piping hot! Hot cookies... yum! You cannot get that anywhere. Great place to hang out. Definitely will be back!

I did not know we had someone take over Charlie's Best Bread location, but how exciting that Kendall's Kitchen has filled that space! Everyone here is beyond nice and really is creating a sense of community. The space is gorgeous and I can't wait to see what it looks like over the next couple of months. It already feels like a great space to get work done or catch up with friends. Okay, aside from that I did get to try a Kolache and it was amazing. The dough was soft and pillowy and the apple pie filling wasn't overly sweet, it made me want to try all of the different types they have. Maybe we start making kolache samplings a thing? So glad Kendall's has joined PB and looking forward to trying all of the baked goods from here :)

I visited this spot a few times when it was Charlie's Best Bread. It was ok. Now it's Kendall's Kitchen. Chocolate chip oatmeal cookie was interesting. I love oatmeal cookies with raisins. The oatmeal cookie part was really good. The chocolate chips were plentiful and made this cookie very sweet. Good cookie but I prefer a traditional oatmeal cookie. Challah bread had a fresh baked aroma and was very soft. I liked the egg flavor. Very good bread. Maybe a bit better than Charlie's. Very pricey at $18 when Ralphs has it for under $10. Staff was very nice. I guess if Kendall's Kitchen had the best tasting bread in town I'd be willing to pay $18 but it's not.

Kendall's Kitchen is a new bakery that has opened in the Pacific Plaza of PB where a long-standing popular bread business used to be located. They are in a soft opening phase with a full debut to occur the middle of next month. The suite was very large, and the owners plan to expand further into the next door space to the south. Right now, there's no inside seating available, but that will change with the expansion. The menu was currently limited to kolaches, klobasneks, cookies, and cinnamon rolls for baked goods. Two display racks had baguettes and bread loaves for sale. Drip and specialty coffees were available for beverages. The vision is to become a local provider of baked products from around the world. Kolaches are Czech-based sweet yeast breads filled with a fruit or sweet cheese filling. Klobasneks are pretty much the same dough but with a savory filling. Behind the bar countertop were signs that showed ten varieties of each type. Not all of the kolaches and klobasneks were available as only select flavors could be purchased at the time of my visit. A strawberry rhubarb kolache and a sausage, egg, and cheese klobasnek made up my order. A creamy frosting adorned the kolache which was quite sweet. I definitely preferred the savory klobasnek which had sesame seeds added to the exterior of the dough. At $9, it was more than double the cost of the kolache which was priced at $4. I am looking forward to seeing how the business evolves as the neighborhood features some high quality bakery competition. More beverage choices, a wider line of baked goods, and indoor seating will be the baseline expectation. For now, I gave a four star rating to Kendall's Kitchen.

    Best cookies ever.

Wholly crap their chocolate chip cookies are legit the best I have ever EVER had. They come warm from the heater and they aren't too sweet or too squishy. The perfect amount of poof, crisp and salty sweet. Incredible. The sourdough is also pretty tasty. My kids love the cinnamon centers as well. I hope this spot sticks around because I may not survive if I never have these cookies again. Seriously.

The best menu in town for a quick breakfast. Love this place.
    Rick R.

The owner is a rockstar the Klobasneks are stupid good the kolache. Morning coffee is peaceful the side room is peaceful. What else do you or could you want to enjoy your morning coffee and have a great quick meal. Cheers all around 10 out of 10.

We live in the neighborhood and were pleasantly surprised by this spot! Their savory pastries were delicious and we got a loaf of sourdough to make sandwiches. The staff was all so friendly and we even met the owner, who chatted with us for a few minutes. Definitely worth a visit!

Kendall's has a surprisingly broad menu. Go and try something new, have a wild time!

This is an UPDATE: Kendall's is now offering to add their custom delicious frosting to any cookie! The same 5-Star frosting that made Kendall's Kitchen's Cinna Centers famous! It is currently just a 50 cent up-charge to add frosting to any pastry you buy. Run there and have three butterscotch cookies with frosting, and a double shot of expresso. You will fly home... The food was amazing! I got a bacon egg and cheese Klobasnek and the dough was incredible, fresh, warm and perfectly soft/chewy, filled with savory goodness. Then I got the butterscotch cookie and an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie, both warm gooey and flavorful, only $2 per cookie! The staff was also super kind and helpful. 10/10!!!!

Just tried this place for the first time. Iced vanilla latte is perfect Corned beef hash, cheese and egg klobasnek is delicious!!! If you are in PB you have to give this place a try!

Lots of chocolate and I think they added toffee in it too. The middle section had pistachio frangipane (or it looked like it) with coarsely chopped pistachios that brought another layer of crunch! Then to top it all off, it had pistachio cream on top of the cookie! I only wish I got another one. CAPPUCCINO It was okay. But love the foam! It was frothy and foamy! PAVLOVA The meringue was a bit too hard and too sweet and the pastry cream was overwhipped. Loved the fresh fig and blueberries though. I was looking forward to eating pavlova and this was very disappointing! KOUIGN AMANN Very buttery and sticky! Crispy on the outside. Every bite was not dry, but chewy. There was this sticky and chewy texture that wasn't unpleasant, yet it wasn't fully flaky like a croissant. But glad it was not dry! The kouign amann was not as tall like others I've tried, but I preferred it this way because it was not dry. The last kouign amann I had from Bread Lounge was dryyyy. But bought mine at a coffee shop too. PAIN AU CHOCOLAT Crispy on the outside, but I must have toasted a bit more, so the outside was a bit more toasted than desired. Inside was good. Good dark chocolate. BUTTER CROISSANT Really buttery, flaky, crispy! Ate it next day, so reheated it in the toaster oven to bring a more crispness all around. Really enjoyed this! Adding butter and jam is so good! LEMON MERINGUE Meringue had a strong eggy smell and flavor, the lemon was tangy, but not enough to rid of the eggy smell and flavor. The tart was hard and almost stale. I took a few bites and threw the rest out. PAIN SUISSE Chocolate flavor. Crispy on the outside, fluffy like a light spongy cake inside. Enjoyed this!
