I was in the process of moving from LA to OC. Instead of asking a bunch of my friends to help me move furniture, I decided to go with a moving company instead. It would've been easier and probably cheaper had I just done everything myself, but as of lately, it has been raining heavily here in Socal. I called up several places before calling Kerb movers. They gave me a competitive quote to compare it with the more known movers in town . They were very friendly over the phone and thorough on what to expect the day of moving. Day of moving, they showed up on time as they said they would. They quickly brief me on what they were going to do. As just like that, they went to work. All furniture were wrapped up neatly so there wouldn't be any damages. The more fragile items was taken extra care of. They had a blanket wrapped around each fragile items (frames, vases, glass furnitures, etc) tapped it and secured it. They also had special bins and crates for my valuables. I felt i may have been nagging and being overdramatic when i felt they were a bit rough with the items, but they were extremely polite and friendly the entire time! The entire moving process was easy and stress free. It has been raining and i'm glad i decided to go with a moving company rather than asking my friends to move my stuff in the rain. Moving using to be a pain in the butt for me, but ever since I discovered Kerb Local & Long Distance Movers, my mind is BLOWN! I had to relocate for work from Long Beach to Riverside and I was so stressed because everything was so last minute. I hate doing things last minute and I honestly had no idea what I was going to do. My friend told me about Kerb and I decided to check them out. I gave them a call for a quote and they replied back very fast. Their prices were very affordable too! They provided boxes and other moving supplies for me to pack all of my goods. I moved to Los Angeles recently from Long Beach and was glad I used Kerb. I like to get my money's worth in any service so I called many different moving services until I decided with Kerb. I'm happy I did. They were very accommodating with my schedule and I know Long Beach to LA is not that long of a drive, but it definitely feels long with traffic. When they arrived, they made sure to be careful with my things as well as ask me where I wanted them. I know this may sound like something movers obviously do, but I've moved many times in my life and they definitely do not always ask. I have this heavy L-shaped couch and it did not fit in the elevator. This meant they had to go 3 flights of stairs carrying my couch all the way up - it was brutal. I am so glad I found this moving service. They were able to move my stuff within a few days that I called them. Communication was great and they were able to find my house with no problem. They told me to have everything ready by 8am and they came early and on time. Basically I didn't have to do anything because they took care of all the boxes, the bed, furniture and all the fragile things including all my art supplies and valuable paintings. I had some stuff laying around and they even helped me pack some loose items. They were very polite and careful and wrapped everything carefully. Everything from my initial quote, to communicating with the dispatch, to picking up my car at its final destination was great. Moved from Florida to California: had shopped around for a lot of other moving companies, considered Pods and smaller companies but the quotes were super high and many didn't offer the service of storage and staff to help move the furniture. Im a single female mid-20's so moving my whole apartment alone was out of the question. For a 1 bedroom's worth of stuff I paid around $2,900, plus an extra $200 for two months of storage (first month free). Mason was really helpful from the moment I reserved it (no payment needed until my stuff was picked up) all the way until it was dropped off in LA. They were scheduled to drop it off in a 10-day window and I got the stuff after the second day. The guys were in and out of my place in about 2 hours, and they helped wrap my TV, mirrors, and close my boxes! Would 100% recommend them. Worth the price. I lived in New York for 4 years and just moved to Los Angeles.. and noted I have A LOT fragile furniture and glassware. I couldn't leave it behind so I was lucky enough to find the most professional moving service thanks to a friend that recommended them! The day of the move--- they arrived early and set up. They were really prompt with communication and confirmation that made everything so easy for me. One thing I wasn't able to prepare for was all my wine glasses that I had collected.. They individually wrapped all my wine glasses and all other fragile items quickly, yet carefully, and packed it in boxes. Another concern I had, I didn't want to waste money on purchasing boxes for my hanged clothes. They also provided all the boxes and packed my clothes as is with the hangers, so when they arrived at my Los Angeles apartment, they were able to hang them as it from the boxes and I didn't have to do any of the sorting!! I loved that they used their own crates and boxes because it really ensured me that nothing was going to get damaged.. and nothing in fact did. Moving is definitely the most stressful thing to go through, but KERB was very very professional, polite, and prompt and made moving day exciting!
