We just got out of there and the lady there was the rudest. We got multiple things including coffee. One of the people that got coffee took 2 mins to decide if he wanted sugar and she got mad... she took the whole pie we bought and put it on the shelf and threw the bag on top of it; it was a wrinkled bag that looked like she took it out of the trash. There was several dishes I would choose from again. I highly recommend the chocolate covered pie.

We went in trying to get the typical required tourist, authentic Key lime pie slice, but also got the ice cream because we read a lot of good reviews on it. We got two scoops in a waffle cone which completely filled it. She put Key lime flavor in the bottom and coconut on top. The ice cream was very smooth and delicious. The coconut was light and fluffy and had pieces of coconut throughout. It was almost as if we had a Key lime pie with coconut whip cream on top in a cone. We shared the ice cream, and we're both too full to really eat any pie, but we did try a taste of the plain Key lime as well as the coconut Key lime. It looks as if the coconut Key lime is just Key lime pie with coconut shavings on top, but it's half coconut cream and half Key lime. Both were absolutely amazing in their own right that we bought an extra slice of each to take back with us. There are two small tables, and maybe six chairs total to eat if you didn't want to take it on a walk with you. There are benches out front as well. They have a lot of touristy, Keylime treats and things for sale, as well as a store with more things to buy and a windowed area where probably see them making the pies fresh during the day. read more

Our second favorite pie in the area! While it came frozen, it was quite refreshing this way and not too sweet. The mango key lime pie tasted strongly of real mango and not much like key lime. The extra tart key lime pie was the perfect sweetness and tartness!!! Would generally like some more crust though. Took a couple of times for her to take off the $1 for the Yelp check in despite saying she did but giving me a total for the Renault price. Visited this bakery on 5/1/2025 after arriving via Virgin Voyages Cruise Ship. Walked around inside the store to look for souvenirs to take back home with me. I noticed the store had ice cream. My favorite flavor is mint chocolate chip. The lady asked me what I would like and I asked for a cup of mint chocolate chip ice cream. The ice cream in the container was green; however, what I was given was vanilla with chocolate. I tasted it and realized it wasn't mint chocolate chip. I brought the error to her attention and she asked me why did I eat it. I said "how would I know what I was eating if I hadn't taken a spoonful"? She had a very nasty tone with me and took back what she gave me and said "you asked for chocolate chip". I reminded her that I asked for mint chocolate chip. She said, "that is what I gave you". I said "it is not green". She said "Oh, that is chocolate chip". I said "that is not what I asked for and furthermore, you don't have chocolate chip ice cream in the store". She yelled at me and asked "what do you want?". I said "I want my money back because I don't like your attitude or your customer service". She said "you want you money back?" I said "yes". She gave me my money back and then realized her mistake and said "my bad". I said "you have a bad attitude and you are are very rude. You shouldn't talk to your customers in that tone". Food here = Key Lime Pie and it is the best I've ever had. Whenever I come back to KW this is my only stop for Key Lime Pie. Ambiance is a gift shop, unassuming, but it is the best. Service is... strange. That's the only reason for the 4/5 stars. The woman that runs the shop is super nice to some people and visibly rude to others. My last time there, I went in on my own and she was super nice to me, the next day I brought my fiancée with me. Such a cute little shoppe. We cam for the key lime and stayed for souvenir shopping. I got some great chocolates, a shot glass, and a magnet. The lady who runs the shop was super friendly and helpful. Very nice to sit and talk with. She was great. The store is clean, if a little tight, but that's part of the charm. I love that I got the recipe on the magnet I bought for my fridge. Now I just need to use the juice we bought to actually see if I can make it as good as she does! It was my moms first time back to Key west in 35 years and trying true key west key lime pie and she was thrilled! Such a fun little shop and I enjoyed buying most of my souvenirs there. I looked up best key lime pie in the Key West and was not disappointed. I debated getting the slice covered in chocolate but got the plain instead. It was great! More tarte than i expected but I loved that it was more tarte but still sweet. And the whipped cream on top helps mellow out the flavor a bit. My boyfriend had a bite and was surprised on how tarte it was and now no other key lime pie compares to it. I will be coming back to try the chocolate covered one. I came here wanting to try some key lime pie as that's what Key West is famous for. This was only place still open after 10pm and was close by to Duval St. It's a neat small shop. I got the key lime cheese cake and my date got the key Lime pie. I haven't had a chance to eat my cheese cake yet as it's in my hotel freezer but the pie itself tasted decent. Walked all over Key West for the famous or Authentic key lime pie just the best worth the walk

When coming out to Key West, you MUST try some key lime pie and that is what my husband and our little girl dog and I did on pie day, 3/14/18. With so many places around that sell key lime pie, we just decided to pick this place. Also I just wanted to mention that the current Yelp check in offer is: $1 off pie slice or pie bar. Please note that this place is across the street from Key West Lime Pie Company (No Yelp check in offer, but also highly rated on Yelp). After looking over the menu board, we ended up getting: Key Lime Pie Slice, $4.95 prior to tax- My husband really enjoyed this pie. I thought it was a bit on the tart side, but that is to be expected for key lime pie. I liked the texture of this pie though, better than a pie that I had at Blond Giraffe Key Lime Pie Factory (as that pie was more like pudding). Key Lime Cheesecake Slice, 5.50 prior to tax- When we asked to purchase a slice of this, I was surprised to see such a small piece. It was about half the size of our other pie (see my photo). Although this pie was rather small (I feel a little bit ripped off too because of it), it was very good. I really loved the texture and creaminess of the pie and liked the hint of key lime pie. It wasn't tarty like the pie slice my husband got. ----------------------- (Total= $10.16 after tax and with Yelp discount) Service was quick when we came in, around 2 pm.
