I hadn't been to kfc in a long time because I used to go to the one by my job. Now I work from home so I don't go out that way anymore. I got the app and ordered a 5 pc chicken combo with mashed and 2 drinks. I also got 2 orders of the potato wedges and I got a free order of mashed potato balls or whatever they're called. I was picking up food to share with my grandson. I was going to stop by and give him his food. Well when I talked to him later, he said there was no mashed potato and they were chicken nuggets. Also, I only got 4 pieces of chicken instead of the 5 pc combo. The lady that came to the window said I didnt get any drinks. I said, yes I did. I ordered a combo for 2. When she went back to check, she saw there was 2 drinks. I won't go back to that kfc. They play too much there and don't pay attention. My neighbor invited me here for dinner. We had a pleasant experience of good food, service and atmosphere. Let me give you the scoop. We arrived and there were a few people dinning in and waiting for their orders. KFC was nice and clean with a remodeled look to it. There were lots of good looking Hispanics too. Employees were working hard to get the orders right and get them out quickly. We ordered the 30 Deal which, includes ten pieces of Chicken, 2 sides, four Biscuits, four Cookies and a half gallon of Soda. The Chicken has the same consistent taste of salty, hand breaded and fried. Really good! The Mashed Potatoes were powdered flakes and the Slaw was cool and creamy like, I always remember. The half gallon plastic container was filled with Pepsi that had extra syrup so, it had a real sweet taste to it. Yum. The container also, retained the carbonation well. My only complaint is the music was too loud. Although, the the playlist was good and I enjoyed it. You don't have to crank the music up so loud you get hear your conversation. I understand too, the employees need their music to get the work done. To put things into perspective, it was finger licking good but, don't do that because of Covid. Lol. I would rate her alone a 6 star if I could on here. She was the only employee in there and I asked her if I could get a kitchen tour. She said sure, so I walked back there. Things escalated quickly. I don't like to slam a chain joint like this. I mean what do you really expect, right? It's not healthy or designed for tasty as much as it's designed to be fast and appeal to as many tastes as possible. But the last time my kid wanted some KFC Chicken Wings I went here and walked away baffled. I asked for the 10 piece wings and was told that they only had 7. He honestly wanted me to walk away or order something else. To which I asked "is there no way we could drop 10 fresh wings in some grease?". It was like pulling teeth. I told him I'd happily wait for them to cook and finally got my order underway. On top of this, the teenagers behind the counter had friends hanging around the dining room and you could tell that they were more interested in playing grabass with their friends than dealing with the customers. I don't begrudge teenagers for being belligerent. God knows I could have acted better when I occupied the years between 12 and 20. But just like older folks didn't like the way I acted when I was younger, this put me off. Again, it's hard to complain. One does not go to KFC for an experience, they go there because it's fast. Because it's passable. So take this for what it is. Don't be surprised if you stop in to this location and don't have an ideal experience. read more

This is honestly one of the worst meals I've attempted to eat in years. Given the amount of business they seem to be having, I assumed the food would be excellent, but I was far from wrong. After spending roughly $60 for a few family meals, I got home to discover that all of the fries we had purchased, were rock solid, as if they were days old, and the chicken tenders that I had purchased were so overcooked, even my dogs had a hard time eating them. I stopped by KFC yesterday, 3/7/24 as I pulled up to the drive-thru speaker, the employee (female) just says, "What do you need?" No, "how can I help you?" So since I haven't been to a KFC in over 8 months I just asked if they had baked/grilled chicken, (I seem to remember they did sell it at one point) she just rudly answers, "No" so I then decided to ask her if they could possibly do "Naked tenders" basically tenders without the breading since my son can't have too much breading, she started laughing and said,"what? Hahahaha" I said ,"tenders without the breading" she again laughed and said "no, ours come fully clothed" I then asked if she even knew what that was, she just said no but it doesn't matter... so I asked her since she was still laughing if she thought it was funny, as she laughed she said yes... so I drove up to the window, of course SHE didn't come to the window, I believe it was the manager because when I asked him who was at the speaker he said my employee,(he had a beard and glasses) so I proceeded to tell him what happened, he just looked at me like I was crazy and told me she was just, "having fun" and I should not be upset... I told him I was upset because I was asking for my tenders a specific way for a reason, he then said again, look she was just having fun, dont get all mad.. when I tried to explain why I did get upset, he just said "Look, it's not our fault you're having a bad day. You are OBVIOUSLY having a bad day" he then just shut the window on me... I wanted so bad to curse him out and yell. Instead, I just said, "God bless you" and drove away... I have never been treated so rudly, it's obvious they don't care... they just want to treat customers how THEY think they should, for the record. It has gotten so bad that when I go, I expect my order to me messed up in some way and in my recent order, it happened again. I requested a subscription for what the meal deal had and they said it was fine. It was also typed on the receipt, but when I received the food, the substitution was not there, just the original items. I went to KFC 2251 Jacksboro Hwy tonight. I ordered the $30 fill up. I got home to find that part of the order was missing. I again had to wait in the line of cars and when I got to the speaker, I let them know I was missing part of the order. They asked if I had the receipt. When I got to the window I handed them the receipt. They gave me the missing 12 piece tenders and I asked for the receipt back. His reply to me was "Why? We made the order right " How about because I paid part cash and part card. It is none of his business why I want it. He was rude about it and went and made a copy noting that "It's been replaced. J.D". That is all I needed. I don't care that you noted it. KFC is 6 miles from my house. I was not interested in coming back a 3rd time. Or ever again for that matter. This whole ordeal cost me over an hours time and 2 trips. When I got the strips home and took the box out of the bag, the box feel apart. I was wet like it had been on a steamer. The food is usually good at this location however I did sit in the drive-through for a little bit I'm glad I checked my food before I drove away because they gave me mashed potatoes when I ordered fries and then there were no condiments nor did they offer condiments. I mean to the girl working the drive thru do you eat chicken strips and fries with nothing to dip it in? Nothing irks me more than to not have condiments in my bag nor to be offered any. This is the worst place for chicken and getting orders correct. I placed a order for two individual meals with mashed potatoes and Gravy and Baked Beans. When I got home I opened the meals and both had Green beans and the Legs and Breasts Extra Crispy were overcooked, dry and tough and grenbeans wilty and dry. I thought this place would be better since being rebuilt from the ground up. I have had bad chicken before but thought Id give them another try, but I was wrong I could only take two bites from the breast. Wow!!!! Just...wow. I have never see a more craptastic bucket of chicken in my life. Its hard to describe. What struck me was the wide range of colors of the different pieces. Some were burnt like the had been refried. Maybe good for beans not for chicken. There was a breast that had blood leaking out of it, meat still pink, no crust. Then a drumstick that was like a ball, most of it gone, I guess that counted as a piece. The mashed potatoes were so runny it was more like soup. And those biscuits. How can you Jack up biscuits. This place can. Just leave'em out for a day or so till they look like a biscuit but are actually ready to disintegrate into bread crumbs if you can make it through their armour like exterior. The coleslaw was good though. I guess I should have turned around at the door when I noticed the trash overflowing from the can by the door, I just thought maybe they were too busy frying that delicious chicken.
