First time ordering from here and this is how it went. The business is brand new, so you have yourself a beautiful interior. Super clean and organized inside. They have plenty of staff onboard. The foot traffic was low, I didn't see much going on. They do have a selection of specialty slices available for purchase. I ordered the barbecue chicken slice and the grandma slice. The prices were a little weird on each slice, $4.50 for each. Now the chicken slice was a meal in itself and I think $4.50 is more than reasonable based on the amount of protein and size. My chicken slice was a little burnt on the bottom. If you're not using a screen for slice pies, when you place the pie in a hot oven the bottom is going to cook faster. Overall, both slices tasted pretty good. Also, with very little foot traffic, the slices are gonna be out longer in the display case which makes for a bad presentation. Crust, Sauce, and toppings were pretty good. Cheese was a little on the weird side, everyone knows what cheese looks like after it's been sitting. I call it the "Domino" effect. The stretch on cheese is no longer there. Overall, not a bad joint. My final comments would be don't complain about other customers in front of new customers, charging a .40 cent credit card transaction fee is a little tacky, find some kind of consistency on your slice prices. "My review is strictly my opinion based on my experience and interaction with the business and/or staff while they provided me a service, food, or merchandise. This review is not to be translated as fact. My review is truthful to the best of my ability and is not intended to present harm to the business but to encourage them to perform better or allow them to continue being awesome. I have not received any monetary gain for writing this review" - Bruno F

Replaced a long standing pizzeria shop called "Scotti's pizza". Scotti's was an institution in these parts of South Western Yonkers. It was a long standing mom & pop's restaurant business. The original Scotti, rest his pizza making soul, died recently from complications due to Covid. He apparently got the virus while out delivering the pizzas his son had made since Scotti had recently retired. Now, midland on kimball, the business that replaced Scotti's, is a good quality pizzeria with a great selection of Italian American dishes and American bar food. The cons to Midland on Kimball are that this place is more expensive than Scotti's ever was. However, the selection is better than Scotti's and the food is comparable and some of the food is even better quality than The former Scotti's. So, if you don't mind paying a little extra for very well prepared pizza etc then step right up & gnosh to your hearts content.

Initial bites of each. Really really good!!

Once alerted that my order was ready, I pulled up and grabbed a metered spot right in front. As I entered, the shop it was empty but the staff was busy working on online orders in the open kitchen. Seating is available at a couple tables and counter top. I grabbed a seat as I waited because my order wasn't actually complete. Staff was pleasant but clearly behind on orders. Once completed I grabbed my order and headed out. I went with the #5. Breezin- strawberry, pineapple, peach, w/ orange juice base and I added banana. Overall a local spot offering healthy options on the go. Just A Note: They are on Uber Eats but they also offer online ordering and you can get 15% off your first order when ordering directly from them.

For drinks, I had the Legally Blonde with oranges, lemon, pineapple, and ginger root. It tasted healthy and not too sweet. I personally wished I tasted more ginger in it. She had the Crush with apple, lemon, orange, peach, pineapple, and a ginger shot. Hers had the ginger and flavors mine was lacking. I went with the Captain Jack wrap with an impossible burger as the protein, vegan mozzarella, sweet potato french fries, lettuce, and bbq sauce. This wrap blew my mind. As soon as I pulled it apart the cheese just stretched across both wraps. The i.possi ke burger and sweet potato fries blended beautifully, and it had just the right amount bbq sauce to not feel over-saturated. I highly recommend it.

Though not huge, their menu is plant based with an assortment of brunch/lunch items like bowls, salads and interesting sushi, as well as smoothies and other drinks. If you're open to vegan food and uncommon items in a western diet, you'll enjoy it. The pad thai slaw and sushirito were delicious and well made and everything on the menu was inviting. The teas were lovely and I really enjoyed being able to select a blend of herbs for my tea mug. There was some herbal water available, and a selection of desserts on the counter and in the fridge - chocolatey delights like "snickers" bars. We found a corner next to the stage with two armchairs and a coffee table which was the coziest corner to sit and chat. Though it was Friday afternoon at lunch time and there were several other small groups, it never felt crowded and we were able to stay for a few hours enjoying our tea and meal. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and non-intrusive. You order at the counter and then sit down, and we were not disturbed at all besides our meal being brought to us when it was ready. Parking is limited but at least they have a lot. It's a short walk into the main part of the town. They also occasionally host events. Looking forward to returning!

Everything is vegan--I love it because for me it's less to worry about. Ambiance is comfortable, very similar to how they setup the dining room in their old location--which was earthy and homey. This location has an addition of an art room! For art days--appeared to be an area where adults and children can create art. I didn't venture in. Animals are welcome, some patrons had their dogs. Service was great. The cashier charged us for something we did not order and promptly sent a refund. They didn't have the salads and burritos from the previous menu but the owner told me that the menu items will eventually return. Will definitely come back!

I thought about just getting DoorDash, but I figured I had a rental car and the Google map said parking was "easy," so I drove over. Parking was not exactly "easy," but I did find a metered spot not far from the entrance. I do think DoorDash is the way to go here, as there isn't a ton of space to dine in. The menu includes several breakfast options as well as sandwiches, salads, burgers, and smoothies. Everything sounded really tasty. I ordered the AM snooze wrap and a latte. It took a bit for the food to be ready but it was freshly made, hot, and wrapped well for the short drive back to my hotel. The wrap has scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, American cheese, and "secret sauce." It was a generous portion and I had half leftover for the following morning. This wrap was everything I want in a breakfast - portable, easy to eat, cheesy, salty, delicious. Loved it. Do not order coffee - the "latte" just tasted like bad gas station coffee, but the wrap totally made up for that. If I lived in the area, I would probably order from this spot all the time.
