Love this Asian fusion place, they have outside sitting which is great because the place was packed. Food is very flavorful, my fave is the pork belly, servers constantly checks if we need anything. 5
INCREDIBLE Khao Soi and Souffle Pancake! Came here after nightshift work, and was feeling crazy enough to have some dinner for breakfast (but also kind of dinner???) Got the regular chicken with Khao Soi and a Souffle pancake for the table. The broth flavors are simply amazing, the noodles, tenderness of the chicken, everything is great. The decor is super cute, great for girls brunch or a date night as well. Amazing service! Can't wait to come back already.
Came here for our family's brunch. First time here and I wanted a good breakfast.....jokes on me. We were seated pretty quick for having a large party. They have a couple of TV's inside that were showing the World Cup. Looked over the menu and I decided on the meat lovers omelette. The food came out in waves.....mine came out first. I was gonna wait til everyone got their food, it was clear the second wave gonna be awhile. About 20 mins later the second wave of dishes came out - but we were still missing 3 others. The pancakes, chicken and waffles and the soft shell crab noodle thing. It was about another 12 mins before those came out. By the time the third wave came out, I was already done with eating. Now for my "meat lovers omelette" : 1/5 it was just a bunch of ham thrown into an omelette. No other meat was in there that I can tell. The salad was kinda odd to have as part of a breakfast dish. The French toast was dry and there was no syrup or anything for it. The best part of the dish was the breakfast potato's. That omelette was REALLY disappointing. My nephews chicken and waffles was the last dish to be served - the chicken was over cooked and dry. The waffle was like a cardboard. The 2 noodle dishes that were ordered were the best dishes at our table. Definately skip the American brunch dishes and order something Thai from the menu. The long waits for the food to come out and the poor execution of the dishes - I would not come back.
Excellent Thai fusion place! I can't believe it took me this long to try it. The famous.Khao soi is as good as recommended, though it is a little bit on the pricey side. The basil chicken omelette was good, but we probably would have enjoyed it separately instead of as a fusion dish. It's a casual café setting with a 15 to 30 minute wait.
Kinaree is an interesting Thai brunch concept in the Quail Hill shopping center, located near Bacchus and Hanshin Pocha. It was really busy when we arrived, but luckily my boyfriend and I were able to be seated without much of a wait. It did take them a bit to take our order but at least we got to wait inside and comfortably seated. The restaurant was a little cramped but they are really trying to use up that square footage. They even have diners seating outdoors to maximize business. There was one TV in the corner that was playing one of the world cup games that morning. When they finally came to take our order, we decided to share the Shrimp Donut ($19). My entrees, my boyfriend decided on the Meat Lovers Omelette ($22) and I had the Kinaree Chicken Waffle ($25). I also ordered their Thai Iced Tea ($6). The shrimp donut came out after our entrees even though it's a started. It just tastes like fish paste they shaped and deep fried. The one on their menu was so pretty but the ones that came out to us were more like lumps than donut shaped. The taste was so-so. I wouldn't order this again. My boyfriend's meat lovers omelette was the best dish at our table from a portion and taste perspective. It had bacon, pork sausage, ham, sharp cheddar cheese, spinach and onion in the omelette. And each omelette is served with half a slice of French toast, breakfast potatoes, and salad. Very well rounded meal. Highly recommended. I don't like the French toast, could have been better soaked but the rest of the components on this plate was really strong and tasty. My Kinaree chicken waffle was less exciting. The fried chicken was really dried. Instead of one large chicken piece like other places who do this dish, they use scrap dries parts of the chicken and the batter is tough and hard. I was picking off the edges and trying to eat the edible parts. The waffle was like any old waffle. The two items tasted like two different dishes and it even came with 2 sauces. One for the waffle and one for the chicken. I ate about half of this, not because I was full, but because I didn't want to eat any more of it. We had to waive down staff for the check. They offered us boxes and I was like no thanks. This was a really expensive meal for me to leave so unsatisfied. You're paying for the cute decor, but when I go to brunch I want to eat tasty food too.
Upon arriving for brunch around 11am on Sunday, there was a short 15min wait for table of 4. There were so many options for brunch and lunch Thai inspired dishes. It was tough to pick just a select few at the table! There were standard breakfast options with a twist, I ended up getting the rib-eye benedict, but subbed out English muffin for French toast! The rib eye was sliced and seemed very similar to the crying tiger dish that was also ordered at the table. Steak was seasoned well and tender to bite. The plate had a lot of food, including a basket of breakfast potatoes and side salad. I enjoyed the side salad adding a freshness to the dish! Most of the menu is on the pricier side, but well worth the what you're ordering with the portions! We also ordered the shrimp donut for the table, which highly resembles the fried shrimp balls at dimsum. There was an interesting sweet sauce that came with this, but could have used some freshness. I was also too full from my dish to eat much of this heavier dish! Service was prompt, as there were several workers around the small restaurant. However, the dishes for our table each came out one by one, seemingly the fried dishes were significantly slower. The last dish to come out - fried chicken benedict - was missing the poached eggs on top! A server quickly brought out some eggs+sauce upon notifying. I would come back to try other dishes, but it appears the restaurant is getting quite busy & I hope they can keep up with the rush and stay efficient.
We came here since it says they have an outdoor seating and when we came they said they won't serve outdoor and we can just order for to go, just because they don't want to serve outside. Since we are already there and we have our dog with us, we opted for the to go order. We ordered the Thai Noodle crab meat, Khao soi pork belly and kinaree fried rice total was $85 which is expensive for 3 orders, and the taste is very average nothing impressive. The service is very disappointing too, it makes you feel like they don't really want to accomodate you and we came around 2:30pm so it's not busy. I've read a couple of reviews about their poor service and I must say, it's true. For me, even if the food is just average but the service is exceptional I would definitely comeback but for this place, the food is just average and the service is bad as well so I am not coming back- there are a lot of other restaurants that are more affordable and they have a great service.
I was really excited to try this spot -- I love fusion restaurants and the idea of a Thai‑inspired brunch sounded so fun. Unfortunately, the dishes didn't deliver on the fusion concept. I ordered the fried chicken and waffle, and it honestly tasted pretty standard. I didn't get any Thai flavors at all -- just regular fried chicken with a side of sweet chili sauce. The mama noodle dish was the biggest letdown: dry, lacking flavor, and definitely not an elevated take on instant noodles. The pork belly was okay, but it didn't have that crispy, crunchy bite you'd expect. On the bright side, the staff was friendly and welcoming. But overall, the food felt overpriced for what it was. In my opinion, it's a cute concept that doesn't follow through. I wouldn't recommend it.
This has been on my list to try! We visited on a Sunday and the wait was quite long. We waited for about an hour. We saw that there was a party of 20 so I'm guessing that's why the wait was very long. The inside is not super big, but very cute and aesthetic. We wanted to family style our meal. The Khao Soi was so good. I'm obsessed with it. Very flavorful and deep. I love the crunch of the noodles, in addition to the noodles already in the soup. Chicken Waffle was also pretty good. Not dry! Holy Chili Bomb Basil Omelette was really good. I was surprised. I usually don't order omelette as but would definitely order this again. The basil was delicious and there was an Asian fusion to it. The soufflé pancakes were good too. They were soft and loved the cream and jam to go with it. Matcha was okay. I didn't taste the coconut as much as I would like. We had asked multiple times to get small bowls so that we could split the meal but they didn't get it to us until half way through our meal. We were too hungry to wait. This is why the 4 stars! Overall, very yummy meal but took long time to get seated and service not as attentive because they were so busy.
This is a fairly new restaurant. The cuisine is Northern Thailand's and the Khai So is the best I've tasted since my visit to Chiang Mai. We were here at breakfast time and they also have classic dishes like avocado toast with bacon bits, chicken waffle. We also ordered the crispy soft shell crab. All were tasty and authentic. The portions are large. The service is beyond excellent with the nicest staff! There's indoor and outdoor dining. We will be back for some more lunch time items.
All delicious!!! But my favorite was the omelette. It was sooo savory and good. The hainan chicken was good, but I feel like it could have been better, I'm not sure if I just haven't had authentic hainan chicken, but I thought the chicken here was alright. The Kinaree noodles were also good, but I honestly didn't like how it was sweet. Would def come back for the omelette here though!
This place is INSANE !! In the best way (: The menu is so big and everything looks so good my only complaint is that I had a hard time choosing what to get cause I wanted everything ! The Presentation of all the food and drinks were great ! This is like a instagram foodie pages dream spot ! And the inside of this place was decorated so cute it's perfect for a cute date or brunch with your family and friends. The chicken and waffle was amazing and so was the tom yum soup! We ordered drinks, The Benedict and so many other things and everything was great. I'm planning a couple trips back soon cause I have a list of things I need to try D;
Love the asian fusion flavors here. I couldnt decide on whether to pick from the breakfast menu, or their all-day specialties. Glad they have a menu just for photos, they all looked good but i ended up picking the crispy chicken benedict. Luckily i went with a large party so I was able to try a little of everything. Their crispy fish was huuge, and their khoa soi with soft shell crab was so good. I also enjoyed trying their tom yum noodle soup!

Went to grand opening yesterday, and I must say the food tastes as amazing as it looked in the pictures on the menu and Instagram ads! Had the following: - Braised Pork (was tender, savory, moist) - Softshell Crab (crispy and Karee curry was a great base. My one critique was the curry did taste a little powdery, as it didn't seem to blend or mix completely) - Lump Crab Fried Rice (decent scoop of lump crab and rice was soft, moist) - House Noodle Soup (generous portion of red pork and noodle, broth wasn't overdone with salt like many other Asian restaurants) Will definitely come back again to try the Belgian Chicken Waffle item next time! read more

Came here with a friend for brunch on a weekday. The menu has a lot of really good looking options but I wanted to keep it simple so I went with the chicken and waffles. This plate was huge and came with two big pieces of fried chicken. The chicken was perfectly crunchy and was well balanced and the sweet and sour sauce it came with was perfect. The waffle was also really good. The plate came with a caramel sauce as well but that was a bit to sweet for my taste. Prices were pretty high but probably normal for Quail Hill. I definitely enjoyed the food though and will be back to try more. read more

We stumbled upon Kinaree yesterday morning on their Grand Opening! they were featuring 50% most of their dishes excluding drinks and soufflé pancakes which was a lovely surprise. Very happy to have such a wonderful Thai restaurant close by, and excited to try more of their dishes, as everything we ordered was absolutely packed with flavor and very delicious. My husband got the basil omelet (I'm sure I'm butchering the name of this) which was packed with Thai basil infused ground meat (pork?) in a light fluffy omelet with a piece of French toast and a salad on the side. He could not stop exclaiming about how light the eggs were and the texture being perfectly cooked. The meat was so flavorful inside! I got the khao soi with chicken, a favorite dish of mine that I can never seem to find on local menus of the Thai restaurants we've tried. It was so good the broth deeply fragrant and piping hot, with the rich, lusciousness you associate with coconut based broths but seasoned perfectly with a hit of spice, tang, sweetness, and savory umami goodness. There were two chicken legs in it and a decent portion of pickled veggies, red onion, and crispy noodles on top of perfectly cooked egg noodles! I have had a couple overcooked noodle soups recently so I was delighted that the noodles here even in their piping hot broth had excellent chew and texture to them. We also shared the soufflé pancakes which they quoted to us as having a 40 minute wait, but came out much more quickly around 20 minutes after we ordered. They were so light and fluffy and not too sweet even with the generous portion of their whipped cream and berry compote poured over the top. We also each tried a matcha, one ube and one coconut. They were both a fun treat! We arrived at the perfect time because after we left we saw a giant line even in the rain! They dealt well with the influx of customers, even though I can imagine some people may have been put off by the wait time. For us, I'd say it would definitely be worth the wait! We are so happy to have a really great option for Thai food in the area! We'll absolutely be back soon. read more

Came in for breakfast with my daughter. The place is really cute. She got the avocado toast and said it was really good. I got the flat noodles and it was really delicious too. I was just happy to be able to order noodles for breakfast. Service was great too. Would definitely recommend and will come back when in the area again. read more

So this was a very nice experience; but the highlights for me were not the food so much as the service. This is not because the food was not good, but because I think I probably should've ordered the soufflé pancakes or the fried chicken Benedict instead of the salmon. This is because the hollandaise sauce was a lot more vinegar-based or even more like a vinaigrette dressing, as opposed to a typical French style sauce. And so I would characterize this more as like a fusion food. However, I think the strong points are that it is very vegetable forward so if you are more of a vegetarian type or pescatarian type this is probably a very good thing for your palette. I would likely try this place again, but I would not get the same thing I got; but this is because I'm a eggs Benedict connoisseur to a large degree, and I judge it very seriously. The other issue with Benedict was that the bread was not well toasted. This is something that you could obviously request, but for me as a personal preference, I just didn't quite dig it... but at the same time, I feel good that I ate it because I feel healthier... read more

Came here for brunch with friends and returned the next day with my husband. The food was phenomenal. We wanted to order more brunch items but the savory pictures were irresistible. We tried the khao soi beef both days. Sooooooo flavorful and so many different textures. I could eat the broth over rice alone, it's so perfectly spiced with good coconut milk flavor. The crispy pork belly was also good. The green sauce that accompanied the dish was so delicious. The fried prawns were tasty but not sure I would order again. We all ordered drinks and they were surprisingly well made- like what you would order at a drink shop. We had the hot ginger tea, strawberry matcha. The matcha tasted like ceremonial grade. I know Kinaree Eatery is still new. They seemed slightly understaffed . The waitstaff was working over time trying to take orders, send food out, refill water. They were running around nonstop. But service was slow as a result. If you come during lunch or dinner rush, expect to wait 60 min or more for your entire meal to wrap. If you're not in a rush, enjoy their drinks and ambiance while eating with your friends or family. The food is worth it. read more

We visited this new Thai restaurant today. The restaurant has a charming decor and comfortable seating. The staff were very friendly. The food was excellent, and we were particularly impressed with their concept. They offer a breakfast menu with Thai influences. I ordered the Fried chicken with waffle,Beef Khao Soi and Soft shell crab with Karee sauce which was delicious. Fried chicken with waffles from the brunch menu. The chicken was very moist and perfectly fried, and the waffles were golden brown, light, and fluffy. Thai Menus: Beef Khao Soi: Rich, creamy, and complex flavor profile that combines the sweetness of coconut milk and curry with savory and spicy notes, all balanced by tangy and fresh toppings. Beef is very tender. Soft shell crab with Karee sauce: Well-balanced sweet, savory, and mild spicy notes, rice with crab flavor. There are many great Thai dishes on the menu. Food : We ordered Lobster Benedict, crab fried rice , pork jowl salad and crying tiger. 1000/10 for pork jowl salad. So juicy sour and spicy.perfect blend with all the flavors. Lobster Benedict was also bomb. So much lobster they gave it to us. For the crab fried rice . It was so authentic flavor. I love that dish too. And the crying tiger the sauces that come with , it was so tasty. Service : Great services. The staff helped us with some suggestions. Ambiance: I love the decorations. Table was so nice and clean. This place absolutely delivered. The dish was beautifully plated with generous portions of crispy pork, fluffy jasmine rice, and a perfectly cooked soft-fried egg. The crispy shallots and fresh herbs on top added the perfect texture and flavor boost. The sautéed greens on the side balanced the richness really well. The green dipping sauce looks super fresh and bright -- a great contrast to the savory pork. And that drink? Creamy, refreshing, and the strawberry swirl makes it taste as good as it looks. A fantastic breakfast spot but seriously their Thai dishes for lunch are extremely tempting for another visit next time we're in the area. As a first time visit after an early morning surgery at Hoag Hospital down the street, the staff was friendly and the music calming and perfect with the beautiful brisk morning weather shining through the entrance. The interior is tasteful and whimsical with floral artwork, walls, and central ceiling installment that make any date picturesque. I was craving soufflé pancakes and their berry compote was delicious. My husband had their omelette with fried basil and similar ingredients to a Drunken Noodle dish. Because it's the winter season, I appreciate the warm ginger tea which was refilled promptly by attentive staff. Parking is plenty in a plaza that shares many other food options and on hotter days, the coveted patio area looks just as fun and relaxing, especially for our furry friends. Came here with the fam for a great Southeast Asian and French fusion beakfast. They have a beautiful thai mural against the wall and rose artwork which fit the decor. I also liked the quality tableware. The waiter was attentive, knowledgeable and had helpful suggestions. We started with the crab roll appetizer, which was crispy, but not too heavy. I liked their sweet dipping sauce, but wish that they served it with a savory saltier sauce instead. The souffle pancakes were lite and paired excellently withe strawberry compote and cream. My Tom yum hot pot came with noodles, pork belly, poached egg and shrimp, and was deliciously savory. Overall, we had a great experience. I would come again and suggest this to others. read more

Found this spot while searching for brunch spots and was pleasantly surprised! There is a mix of brunch items (traditional breakfast with a Thai twist, soufflé pancakes) and Thai dishes. It was a cold, rainy day so the husband and I opted for soup dishes- House noodle soup & creamy tom yum! Good portions and both dishes were packed with lots of seafood and meat. Plenty of parking found in the Albertsons shopping center. It is a great place for brunch. Spacious, clean, and friendly service. I would come back for the Crispy prawn Khoa Soi and I just had a delicious one at Manaan and it was just as delicious if not better. My friends enjoyed their smoked salmon toast, and Benedict's Bacon avocado. I expected the Souffle pancakes to be sweeter i probably would try the creme brulee pacaes next time . My friends and i walked after our trail to this place so i felt less guilty after eating all these yummies calories read more

Went here for breakfast and it did not disappoint! We ordered a smoked salmon sandwich and crippy chicken. Both tasted great and the portion is very generous, we both ended up being very full. Their menu has so many items and they all look so good, so we'll definitely come back next time to try other dishes. Service is very friendly so that's a plus! read more
