Before I even walked in, I see there are few people carrying party trays, I knew this place is legit. Authentic and delicious food! Had the deluxe falafel sandwich which is packed with flavor and fixings. Portion is good as a meal or a light lunch if you are hungry. the gyro sandwich with lamb is also very good! Everything is made to order. the interior is clean and detailed with middle eastern decoration. Great place for gathering too!

Arabic Shawarma Plate (New) Chicken Kabob Plate Lentil Soup
Gabriella I.

Ordered KF for take out last night. We ordered the Arabic sandwich which comes on thin pita with sides of garlic/white sauce and fries. Delicious! The chicken kebob plate had generous portion of chicken, hummus and tabouli salad. They gave us a bag of pita and two heaping bowls of lentil soup. We were so satisfied and even have leftovers. We're also happy to support a local family. Thank you!!

Food was ok, nothing special. A little disappointing if I am being honest; with 4.5 star review on yelp I was expecting more. Service was decent, ambience was bare.

This place is absolutely delicious and authentic--I've been to the Middle East, and this is perfect--the texture and flavors! And really nice people! Enjoyed it thoroughly

The supreme gyro plate with baba ganoush. Not a bad bite

Easy-to-miss storefront but so glad we happened on it. We almost thought it was closed since it was so dimly lit outside. Amazing food. Restaurant is older looking, simply furnished. Every item on the supreme gyro plate was delicious. Chickpea impressively came through the hummus. Baba ganoush was extremely silky. Tabouli was so fresh. Usually a forgettable intermission bite, the pickled radish was one of the most memorable elements. Falafels were also delicious and freshly made. Most restaurants around had waits upwards of 45 mins. This was the forth restaurant we stopped at. They were empty around dinner time on a weekend but it absolutely shouldn't be!

Best falafel I think I've ever had! I ordered the platter and it came with hummus and tabouleh. So yummy & healthy. My daughter lives near the area and introduced me to this place.. I'll def be back next time I visit!

We came here with our local friend who gave it high recommendations. The server was nice, lots of atmosphere, reasonable prices for falafel, gyros, salads and sides. I got the regular falafel sandwich $9 and my friends got the deluxe falafel sandwich for $10. Everything was fresh, the bread was thin and crispy with great sauces. Wish this place was by my house!

Ali, our server and part-owner was so nice and extremely accommodating. We could not eat everything on the menu and will return to try more things! We loved the fava bean and pita starter and then shared moussaka and the kefta entrees. Both were excellent. My husband liked the Greek wine and I asked if they had a Turkish yogurt drink (yran) and Ali went back to the kitchen and provided this off-the-menu beverage! For dessert I asked if they had my favorite Turkish dessert, kunife, and Ali went back to the kitchen from where it magically appeared The chef is Turkish and the other co-owner is Greek. A wonderful alliance.

My host opened the door and I opted to sit outside as it was a beautiful day. Lamb shanked is Mezzeluna specialty and that's what I ordered. Unfortunately, my hostess didn't bring me a wine list but said she will grab one. Despite the mixed up, she was really sweet and complimented me on my wine selection. The lamb shank was fork tender and cooked perfectly with a nice gravy over mash potato. If I'm ever back in Cotati, I will go back to try out some of their skewers and hummus.

Featuring a diverse menu…read morethat features steak frites, a hamburger, salads, legitimate French Onion Soup - pizzeta's and Pad Thai - among other delights - the setting and the comfort of being in this beautiful spot never fails. On a lazy Saturday afternoon, I visited and was promptly seated and served. I enjoyed a romaine salad, my son enjoyed the mac & cheese - his favorite anywhere - and I had a burger with fries. The burger came with white cheddar cheese and bacon, with chipotle ketchup, regular ketchup, and aïoli on the side. I had a glass of Chardonnay, and the wine list is what you would expect from a Sonoma County restaurant. By the bottle or by the glass you are assured of a good selection. Nothing you order here will disappoint you. The dining room is a rustic space with a lot of wood appointments. There's a nice long classic bar. And there's an outdoor patio where you can eat and enjoy the beautiful weather. If you're anywhere near the place, you owe it to yourself to visit Underwood or a lovely lunch or dinner. Hang out with the locals, enjoy a down home relaxed meal.

Worth noting though: it gets very noisy. The menu offers an interesting mix of Thai and French cuisine - not quite fusion, but rather two distinct menus side by side. Think of it as a safe bet for groups with different cravings. The portions are decent and the prices are in line with typical Bay Area standards - not a bargain, but not outrageous either. Unfortunately, what brought my rating down to three stars was the service. For a relatively simple meal - oysters to start and one entrée each - the pacing was surprisingly slow. We waited nearly 20 minutes for our plates to be cleared, another 10 for the dessert menu, and after an additional 15-minute wait we ended up canceling dessert altogether, as the evening had stretched to two hours and we had a long drive ahead. To be fair, the tables around us seemed to have a smoother experience, so perhaps we caught them on an off night. I'd like to give them another shot, but I'm leaving with mixed feelings that honestly reflect a three-star experience - great bones, but the service needs work.

This place is very popular so I would recommend making reservations in advance, especially if you are going on the weekend. It has a warm and inviting ambiance and the staff are really friendly. The food was delicious. I had the Little Gem salad and a slice of my husband's pizza. Both were delicious. They have a lot of options appetizers, pizzas, and main dishes. They have options for their pizzas like a gluten free crust and vegan cheese. I also love that this is a family owned restaurant since I much prefer these types of restaurants over corporately owned ones. Highly recommend!

The prices are very reasonable for the quality, with entrées typically ranging from $30-$50. We always start with the Brussels sprouts--they're our must-have favorite. This time, I ordered the halibut while my husband chose the ribeye, and both dishes were outstanding. The halibut was perfectly seasoned, and the fresh tomatoes that came with it burst with flavor in every bite. I usually go for the half chicken (which is also fantastic), but I'm so glad I tried the halibut this time. One detail I really appreciated was the owner coming by to check in--it made the experience feel even more personal. Reservations are highly recommended. We were seated right away when we arrived about 5 minutes before our 6pm reservation time. Hazel's has a smaller menu that's part of the charm--every option feels carefully crafted, so you don't get decision fatigue. Hazel's sundae was also a great dessert treat after a delicious meal. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience.
