Shirazi salad was great. But would have loved to see more lemon juice and a little less olive oil. The koobideh (ground meat) sandwich was very juicy and flavorful. But I think they might have forgotten the onions. The fries were average - would have loved to see a little more salt. I gave my 26 year old daughter an "Alice in Wonderland" themed bday party on the patio at King's Kitchen. The patio is absolutely gorgeous and the food was absolutely delicious. The abundance of food for my 39 guests was "fit for a King" and everyone was very happy. The servers were outstanding and it was everything Razo had promised and more. The food was served family style and we had enough left to have another party the next day. The coffee and tea was served in beautiful tea cups. I can't wait to return. There should be more places like this where the owners really care about pleasing their customers. I was checked on by Razo and George before and during the party to make sure that everything was ok which was above and beyond and very much appreciated. Even the music they played for us was great, and there are lots of heaters, a fire pit, and many good photo ops. read more

Really really great place for QUALITY food. I dine here a few times per week. Really is a hidden gem in town. Every time, and I do mean every single time, I get to-go and bring back to the office, EVERYONE asks where the good smell is coming from. It really says something about the quality of their meat, preparation, and food, overall. Taste is authentic and amazing. Love the luleh kabob from here (authentic taste) and their mast-moosir and ikra are second to none. They have wonderful decor and a great outdoor area for dining and hookah, as well. Here is my take on King's kitchen. We found them on yelp and they were nearby, they were also open late so we walked in at 10:30pm and we ordered tacos and philly cheesesteak. Everything is said to be organic here so don't expect street tacos obviously. The quality of the meat was good but it was lacking a little bit of flavor both in my tacos and my bf's sandwich. They need a little bit of more ingredients and marination on their meat. Was overall a very nice place with a really nice cashier. Will be back to try different items on the menu. read more

Just left and I have to say I'm impressed. The staff were so friendly and asked us many times if there is anything we needed or anything they could get us, even the owners said thank you on our way out as we walked to the car. They have a huge and convenient parking lot, so right off the bat I entered with a positive outlook because there is nothing I hate more than dealing with finding parking in LA. I literally don't go to some of my favorite places because parking is a bitch. So +1 star there. upon entering you can instantly see how clean and new everything is. I especially loved the calm and modern decor. The lady behind the counter (who was also our server) was really nice. She was a little shy but in general very welcoming and helpful. We chose a table and sat down with our menus. Right away we knew it would be hard to choose what to eat because they had so many yummy looking options! I really wanted to try the kebabs but I opted for the crispy spicy chicken burger. I also had to try the Armenian salad and got 2 side dishes which were the tzatziki and the grilled eggplant dip called Ikra. My husband got the wagyu burger with regular fries and said it was delicious. As I mentioned I got the spicey fried chicken burger with potato chips. Ok let me just pause right there and tell you how obsessed I was with those potato chips! they were not too thin and not too thick delicious slices of salty fried pieces of potato heaven! I would go back (and will be back) just for this! I did like the spicey chicken sandwich but unfortunately it wasn't clean what the sriracha aioli was mad with and unfortunately I HATE sour cream (I never eat it) and it was made with a good amount of sour cream so although I ate the sandwich half way and it was still really good the taste of the sour cream masked the other tastes for me so I didn't enjoy it as much as I would have liked to. So if you don't like sour cream I would say avoid the aioli sauce. It was mostly my fault as I forgot to ask so if you have any questions about any ingredients or what exactly is in a salad etc just ask. I also added avocados to my sandwich. My favorite items were the Armenian Salad (delicious, fresh and lemony just like how I like it) and the potato chips. I will definitely be back and this time I will try the Armenian food options like the kebabs. Try them out you won't regret it. I hope the staff continues to stay nice and helpful because it would be a shame for a gem place like this to no succeed. I will be back. 5/5 stars read more

Came in on a Saturday at 6:30pm and the only ones eating were the cooks and the waiters... still thought I'd give it a try. All in all the food was okay. The tzatziki was good, the pita was burnt. The $21 (as advertised on menu) kebab plate was bland. The worst part was the check. It was for 2, $106, no alcoholic drinks! My crystal gesyer water bottle was $2 and my 2 expresso drinks were charged $26. I honestly think they were trying to scam me, maybe it was a mistake but I mean come on. They said oops and brought it down to $12. All the other items, had cents added to them that were not on the menu. For example, my $21 kebab, $21.65, appetizer, advertised for $7, charged $7.48.... I highly doubt all these good reviews are just from customers with the lack of customers on a Saturday night and the bland overpriced food. The worst part was feeling scammed when I was there only customer.... Smh read more

Food: My wife and I ordered a Truffle Burger and Baja Fish Tacos, both with fries. They were absolutely excellent. The Truffle Burger was cooked as asked and tasted exquisite. There was some juicy truffle oil and you can taste that umami flavor in the burger thanks to the mushrooms. The baja fish tacos came in a pair and oh my gosh. They were gigantic. The chef did not skimp on the fish. Each taco contained two giant nuggets of fish, slaw and radish along with some sauces and a side of jalepenos. Ash, the cashier, waiter, server extraordinaire was extremely friendly. He noticed my wife and I had Games Workshop stuff and just wanted to chat with us. Not just be friendly, but he genuinely wanted to chat with us and get to know us and that's the kind of service I've never received at a restaurant before. I've only been here once, so if the 5-stars seems a bit much, you might be right, but first impressions are the most important and as the blond chick with a sour face from "Jerry Maguire" once said, "You had me at hello." First off, the place looks very clean. So clean, I might consider changing the "10-second rule" to a solid "60-second rule," if I were to ever drop their food by accident and have to pick it back up and eat it. A testament to their cleanliness, but also to how delicious their food is. Second, the service. I didn't get the man's name who took my order at the front counter, but he greeted me upon arrival and was prompt with delivering the food to my table. It wasn't exactly busy, but then again, my lunch hour arrives when most people are sitting at their work desks contemplating what they'll be having for dinner later. Though he didn't package up my food to go like I had asked, he also knew that the food didn't stand a chance at making it back to my car. This is a dude who knows his product. Third, the food is bomb-- I am 32-years old and it takes some really good food to make me start using high school vocabulary such as "bomb" to describe it, but that's exactly what my kebob sandwich tasted like-- a blast of flavor... in my mouth... BOOM. Meat was quality, grilled tomatoes, which I'm usually not very fond of were good enough to change my mind, and the red chili spread all over their soft, warm, French roll... not gonna lie, it was an arousing lunch. Bottom line, amazing new spot. I think their cheapest meal was around $12.50, so it may not be the place to go if you're on a budget, but you can taste the ingredients that fast food places leave out.
