Stuffed pepper soup and breakfast Bacon Burrito

I went to this restaurant for brunch on a Saturday morning. There was no weight and we were seated immediately. The wait staff kind and patient with us as we tried to decide what to order. The food and drinks came quickly and and I will definitely return.

Went for breakfast with my sister. Upon entry, it was seat yourself so there were plenty of opportunities to sit. The waiter was very helpful with questions and I eventually was able to order a skillet and a pancake with a latte. The latte was a vanilla latte and it was a good standard latte. The skillet had plenty of meat (bacon, sausage and ham) and the egg on top was scrambled. It was a good meal. The pancake was good as well. I'll def come back.

And absolutely delicious breakfast. I judge a breakfast place by their coffee. I'm not sure what brand they use, but the house coffee was rich and delicious. We ordered several different things and each one was a stand out! Damn Delicious is a knife and fork breakfast sandwich on a croissant covered in delicious sausage gravy. A side of hash browns rounded out an already hearty meal. Chicken & Waffles are a breakfast staple and this plate did not disappoint. The waffles are super crispy (I need to figure out their secret). And the chicken tenders are well seasoned and juicy. The maple syrup sets the entire plate off! The plate also comes with a side of eggs. To Bee or not not to Bee a beautiful French toast with fruit and a drizzle of honey. A beautiful meal. Corn+beef+hash is an epic skillet meal. Corn and beef and hash browns with eggs and toast. Absolutely delicious.

Great spot for breakfast food. I went here with a friend and it was a great casual spot to catch up with friends or go when it is cold outside, or at any time really. The food was cook just right. Such a great start to the morning for me. The menu have a wide variety of choices for breakfast when I went. This place was busy even in the early morning. I did not have any trouble with finding parking when I went there. The service was great, everyone seems so friendly. I definitely will be back.

Felt like a hotel bar sort of - not a typical diner feel but was cool with the STL chess them. Food was good but didn't blow me away, my latte was good! Service was quick and friendly! Overall good breakfast!

They have locations in Clayton and the CWE. Great spot for brunch and very reasonable prices! I love the skillets and their iced coffee!

There's a waitlist through Google, too.0 It's been around for awhile and always busy with locals so I think it's stood the test of time. If you haven't been here before, get the Clara Cake (13.5) or they're considerate enough or I have single slices of the Clara and other famous toasts / pancakes that range from 5-6.5 to try. Everything else is simple and fresh. You might leave a tiny bit hungry or 80% full which is good place to be Also parking is easy ish since there's a neighborhood nearby and after all it's just St. Louis not SF or LA!

They seated us at a long table with people at the other end, but we still had ample space. To started our meal, we ordered a hot chocolate and coffee, along with some of the delicious doughnuts. Those doughnuts were scrumptious, and I even made sure to save one chocolate for after my breakfast. For my main course, I opted for the BBLT, which was an enormous sandwich filled with all the classic ingredients: bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, over-easy egg, and aioli. It was served on a wheat bun with breakfast potatoes, making it a hearty and satisfying meal to kickstart my day. We also shared a giant blueberry pancake, which was a complete meal in itself. I'm still reminiscing about that delicious pancake along with everything else and can't wait to return to this place for another delightful brunch experience!

Songbird is the Dolly Parton of St. Louis breakfast: bigger stage, brighter lights, same voice…read more I've followed this operation since it was a sandwich pop-up at the Tower Grove Farmers' Market, through the brick-and-mortar in The Grove, and now into its larger home in Tower Grove South. The quality has not wavered once. I ordered what I always order: The Combo (fried eggs, maplewood smoked bacon, cheese, brioche toast), extra egg, extra bacon. Most kitchens treat a fried egg as binary (runny or ruined). Songbird has mastered the middle register: lacy edges with a yolk that stays glossy and intact right up until the first bite. I ordered them over hard, and they came out a bit closer to over medium, but they were just as good as I wanted them to be. The bacon carries real smoke. This is a decadent sandwich, big enough that half of it would make a light breakfast; I wasn't remotely hungry after one, the second half was indulgent. The service made the move too. The hostess still recognizes returning customers, and the bigger room finally lets the dining experience breathe. The service at the table could have been a little warmer as we've had it the past, but it is still professional. I was there with two close college buddies, one of whom declared his latte excellent. I keep meaning to get adventurous with the menu, but it is genuinely hard to find a bacon, egg, and cheese toasted this perfectly, and I'd go twice in one day if given the opportunity. 4.8 A full five arrives the day when I can arrive first thing on a Saturday without a 30 minute wait, honestly, it's hard to get a reservation here because of its popularity. Good for them. Cheers to you, Songbird. Dolly would be proud

*Not accessible *Not kid friendly…read more This location has a lot of improvements to be made. The menu is bland and they deter you from making modifications. I wanted my toast's jam to be on the side and they said no. It was a thick tasteless brick without the jam. The items are not as traditional for a breakfast spot, and when I asked the server what they were known for she said the drinks.... They also run a tight turnaround time so they will make you feel uncomfortable when its time to clear your table and pay the bill because they will tell you the next reservation is in 5minutes. The plates were all different and my guest who got a sandwich had her food come out in a plastic fry basket instead of the nicer plates. Odd. As I mentioned earlier, they are not kid friendly as they don't have a kids menu or kid friendly items like fruit and pancakes. We ordered a side of avocado and chicken sausage as those were the safest for us. Also there are no changing tables in the restrooms. Accessibility note: the entrance is a giant multi-slope and 1 turn ramp into a cramped lobby. The men's restroom is the only one on the main floor and female restroom is tucked far in the backroom inaccessible due to a steep step in the back. It is not wheelchair or walker friendly.
