Blue cheese chopped salad !! Could eat this everyday
    Molly L.

Came Here Memorial day weekend and there were not many people there obviously!! But got to take advantage of cooked to order food !! Everything was fresh snd cooked to order the way i like my food!!! ... My fave was the blue cheese chopped salad it was spectacular, I could probably eat this every day! My company got the fish and chips. The only thing I would change about this dish is I would serve three pieces of cod, seeing that they are kind of small.... there were more french fries than fish :(

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very crowded, that's a good sign.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Cod was delicious, remoulade is homemade and very yummy even on the fries. Great service with Matt!

I've been here for lunch before but never at a time to order off of the brunch menu until now. Their chicken and waffles were top notch, the chicken was so crispy! The cheddar grits were also super good, they would be even better if the cheese was more melted on top! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great for a family outing- will definitely be back![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Avocado toast with over easy egg

Loads of parking, this business is in a large parking lot shared by Kroger and other places. No wait time and I was seated in the bar area in a booth. [[HIGHLIGHT]]plenty of outside seating as well that looked lovely.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very clean and the service was friendly and quick.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I tried the avocado toast with an egg added to it and the fried chicken Benedict. The toast was actually my favorite, and had a great flavor. The Benedict was good, but the side potatoes needed salt and they used a BBQ sauce that had a little too much sweetness for my taste (but that's just my palate!). The chicken was crispy and Ioved that they used mini pancakes instead of a English muffin. I would definitely come back to try other options and there was a nice selection of vegetarian dishes like main dish salads. If you are on the rest side, you should give this place a shot. This is the perfect place to take your inlaws to of they are in from lot of town and you don't feel like cooking them brunch on a weekend.

This has always been my go to place for a meal I know will be delicious. Typically, I get the impossible burger with a gluten free bun. It's shockingly similar to real meat and the gf bun is great quality. Today I switched things up and got the Asian noodle salad and it was perfectly cooked and covered in a delicious spicy mayo-like sauce. The staff is always extremely nice here and always have a smile on their face. I love eating on their cute outdoor area too. I always get so excited to take new people here to show them what my favorite spot is.

I had a great meal here last visit, but I had a meal here tonight that we ordered to to go. I ordered the baby kale & quinoa salad after looking at the menu online. When my partner brought home the food, the salad was unpalatable. The slices of bread on top of the salad were the equivalent of biting slices of stale salt. After calling the restaurant and talking to the friendly manager, the majority of the $50 check was refunded due to their menu not being up to date on their website and doordash. Regardless, the salad that I received was the kale Caesar salad - it was bland and salty. The Caesar dressing was spicy and salty. Basically, steer clear from the kale Caesar salad. The fries with the burger were also very salty. I love beer cheese and pretzels, but I wouldn't get them here again since it tasted like the cheese was microwaved and salted (suprise, surprise) Overall, extremely unimpressed with tonight's food. I might try again in the future, but not eager after tonight.

The food here is always so fresh and delicious! I seem to always order the Brussels salad with Salmon because it's that good!!

Great spot and perfect atmosphere for our little date night. The food exceeded our expectations with well crafted flavors. The hot honey dipped chicken sandwich was phenomenal and an absolute must every time we go. Service was fast and friendly, vibe was casual, and they had a nice patio area with live music. We will definitely be back for that chicken sandwich and to try other things.

First time here. Surprised at the small menu. Pretzels and beer cheese was good. Thought about the brie also. Salads were giant for .5 salad. Fish and chips were very good and giant. Disappointed in thin fries versus giant steak fries expected. My wife liked the shrimp and grits. Chicken and waffles looked interesting. Service was very good.

Food is always wonderful, staff is very friendly and I do enjoy the flights with my brunch.

Crispy chicken and waffles. Really good!

Excellent menu with a terrific variety of options you won't find at most restaurants. Enjoy quality food, a great draft beer selection, wine and cocktails. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice atmosphere too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hostess Carla was very welcoming. Our waiter, Chris, was endearing and perfect making for a very pleasant dinner out with friends.

This is a sad review for me, as I was so hopeful! The service was a solid 3 stars, which unfortunately out-shined the food. We had around a 30 minute wait for a party of 8, totally understandable as it was lunchtime on a Sunday. Half of which, literally half were little, little kids. Unfortunately, when it was our time, around 50 minutes later, they tried to seat us at a high top rather than a newly opened low table. This was major oversight on management and host, no way were we going to accept a high top for 4 kids under the age of 4. Sadly, we had to wait another 10 minutes for the lower table as they left it dirty and chose to seat folks that came were on the waiting list after us. The waiting area outside was so cold, I'd highly recommend they start blast heating this area. A lady had her young baby in there and it was so cold even with coats on. Finally got to our table and our waiter was pretty bad. Totally skipped over my drink and later skipped over the other couple's order (he took 7 out of 8 orders at our table and stopped?). We had to ask him if he was going to finish taking our order? This was after waiting another 10+ minutes. At this point, we didn't even care about the food, we quietly chatted about the service and were wondering what the heck is going on? We spent 2 hours here and had a good meal. The fried cod was good, I'd order again. Fries are shoestring and crispy! Fries might've been the best part! Braxton Storm (the best) beer cheese and pretzels were lacking. I didn't like the pretzels at all but the cheese was good. Very thin consistency, would've preferred a thicker cheese. Overall, I'm willing to go back, and most likely will. The menu looked great and I'd really like to keep trying new dishes. I'll be optimistic that service will be better next time and I'll be able to share a 5 star review.

SO so good…read more We started with the lavender lemonade mocktail -- which I absolutely added tequila to -- and it was smooth, refreshing, and dangerously delicious. 10/10 would order again exactly the same way. For appetizers, we got the whipped feta. Delicious, creamy, and perfect for sharing -- but fair warning: avoid the peppers if you're not into a little kick. They sneak up on you! My friend and I split the house salad and WOW. A complete showstopper. So fresh, the vinaigrette was bright and delightful, and those fresh bacon bits? Chef's kiss. It's rare that a house salad stands out like that, but this one absolutely did. Now let's talk about the prime rib. I typically do not like steak or prime rib... but our waitress recommended it as the best thing on the menu, and honestly the Yelp photos had already convinced me. When I tell you it was BOMB -- I mean it. So tender. So flavorful. Perfectly cooked. Paired with broccolini and mashed potatoes, it was a whole experience. To end the night, we shared the apple tart with cinnamon ice cream -- warm, sweet, comforting, and the perfect finish to an already amazing meal. Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Great service, incredible food, and such a vibe. I cannot wait to come back.

I got the lavender lemonade mocktail which was delicious and refreshing without being too floral or soapy. For dinner I got the braised short rib which was so tender you could cut it with a fork. The bone marrow demi glaze I could have a bowl of that stuff is phenomenal. The broccolini was roasted perfectly but I felt the potatoes could've used more seasoning. My mother got the lemon chicken pasta, which was good at the time, but when she got home it did not sit well with her. All in all, I would come back for the short rib, and I hope Alara finds a new location soon. The inside is nice and romantic seating, but it is cold ... like bring a jacket and it seems it doesn't matter the season it is colder inside because I saw a google review that also mentioned the temperature of the dining room.

So because this was a meet-up, I did not take any pictures of my food. My experience was so lacking from years ago, that afterwards I felt I needed to share it sans photos. The staff was extremely friendly and the food came out quickly. It was the quality that was lacking. I'm sure there have been many changes in chefs/cooks over the past decade, but these staples: bowl of chili and sweet potato fries were just lacking. Both have been on the menu since I used to go there long ago. The chili was watery- almost like a tomato soup with a bit of beef. Toppings were nice: sour cream, onions, cheddar cheese. The sweat potato fries were overdone and a smaller portion for the price, but I understand the cost issues restaurants face today, so I had no problem with the price. The side pineapple sauce tasted just like it did years ago, so I was happy with that consistency. I'm hoping this was just an off day for the kitchen staff. The host and wait staff were exceptional.
