Klatch Coffee in Redondo Beach is a superb spot to get some work done. I've been here twice now, both times with the intention of getting some delicious coffee and working on a report for work. A great success. On my first visit, I was a little confused about the parking situation and entrance but once I realized Klatch is on the corner of Torrance Blvd. and PCH, I found the parking lot behind CVS Pharmacy and was greeted by two friendly employees. In the last year or so, I've found a love of lattes and the lattes at Klatch do not disappoint. During a recent visit I ordered the Lavender Love latte. I also ordered one of the seasonal toasts, I believe it was the Goat Cheese & Honey Toast which was a nice hold me over from my dinner. As I mentioned previously, there is ample space and free Wifi to do work as well as clean restrooms. There is also outdoor seating if that's your preference. I typically don't arrive until 4pm and stay until closing at 6pm. I've had great experiences during each visit and will definitely be back again soon! read more

Nice coffee shop, came in on a rainy day. I was taking a coastal drive and seen the sign. I walked in to a lot of people on their laptops or reading so I picked up a local paper and waited for my order. The service here was quick and the food was good. Love this place. It has a clean, inviting and vibrant atmosphere. They always have great service with friendly baristas. IMO, it's one of the best coffee shops in the area. What I love most about the place is their attention to details. Not only are the drinks of high quality, but I'm a fan of their self-serve lid system. It's just plain smart because 1) It saves people the time of uncapping their drink to add any cream/milk/sugar/etc, and 2) some people just might not want a lid, so not wasteful. The matcha was okay, but lacking strength in its taste a little more than I would've liked. The turkey and pesto panini was good and came out very fresh. I love the environment. The inside is bright with natural lighting and a decent amount of space to study or have meetups with friends/family in. The service wasn't bad, nor was it good. I used to frequent this coffee shop weekly. But no longer. Two weeks ago, the WiFi was not working. So another customer and I walked up to the young male worker behind the counter to let him know. His response: "Sucks for you!" Can you imagine speaking this way to an adult when you were a kid? Let alone a customer. It's completely disrespectful and the main problem hiring these lazy, entitled, millennial bratty kids. They do not understand basic customer service. Or care to learn. Part of this issue lies in the hiring/training process that falls upon the store manager. Do better. I know these kids are cheap labor but look at other nearby coffee shops that hire quality employees (Boy and the Bear, Pure Bean, even Starbucks). There is a nice selection of breakfast and bakery items with seasonal variations always available. I don't do coffee but they have a variety of other options as well but my friends like the coffee very much. The staff are very welcoming so much so that they allow our ladies group to meet there on occasion and warmly welcome us every time. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere fresh modern and fun. Decent local coffee shop with spacious seating in Rodondo beach. The parking is plenty as it is shared with CVS though you need to take a bit of a walk to get to the actual coffee shop (ok I am being a baby here and it just takes a bit when I have to use a stroller but it isn't a big deal for adults). You may only see the wall from the parking lot but if you park in the lot and walk towards the CVS drive through, you can take the walkway around the building and get to the entrance with a sign. When there was a long line, the workers there seemed really stressed out but as long as you are considerate, they remember what you ask or an additional cup of water and there is no problem. Working is feasible with the free wifi and the outlets but seats get taken really easily and it was not that easy to get the booth seats even if that would work best in my situation. Chai latte was so flurry and delicious! My friend's latte art was so pretty. Breakfast brioche could have been better if they didn't burn the top bun. So hard when you try to take a bite but everything else was great like the sausage, egg and the look of the food. There are pastries and various seasonal drinks too. My original review criticized the vanilla latte and my sandwich having ham on it, also about the lack of no dogs allowed signs. I will say the response from the coffee shop was sympathetic and overall really nice wanting to assure me that if I came back my experience would be better. I really appreciated the manager and decided to try Klatch again. He told me there was an issue with my original latte and I did reorder the same latte and it was 100 times better, I could taste the vanilla and it was very very good. I did order the goat cheese toast because their oven was broken the day I came (not their fault at all) and it was also delicious. Also the staff were going around asking all the customers how their orders were and if they needed anything else. It really seems like the staff care about creating a good experience for their customers. My second visit was 10 times better and I would be back in the future. read more

It's no secret I love cute coffee spots and latte art. I've had my eye on Klatch Coffee for awhile now and I finally got to try it! I came on a Friday morning with my mom and it was true breakfast bliss visiting here. For our drinks I got the Vanilla Bean Latte while my mom got the Creme Brûlée Latte. For food we got a butter croissant and pistachio muffin. I paid about $17 which I thought was excellent for a coffee spot! I definitely think their prices here are very reasonable. For the food; the pistachio muffin was the winner! They baked it fresh and so it was piping hot when they served it. I love the fluffy texture. It also had the perfect hint of pistachio. I now want to try their other muffins too. The butter croissant however was more of a miss. It was cold when it was served and there was really nothing too special about it. I will most likely skip on the croissant in the future. For the drinks; both lattes were excellent! I tried my mom's Creme Brûlée Latte and thought it was very good. It was sweet but not overwhelmingly so. My Vanilla Bean Latte was similarly quite tasty. Fresh in taste, creamy and full of flavor. I also have to say their latte art here is on point! My boyfriend and I stopped here before starting a long car ride and I'm so glad we did! We were helped by Daniel who was super friendly and made the fancy shmancy suggestion of adding orange peel to our matcha latte which was a great rec. I've been spending some long days in the South Bay lately, so I was hoping that Klatch would help get me through the week. I prefer to support local coffee shops over the large chains any day. Thankfully Klatch shares a parking lot with CVS, and there's plenty of spaces available. That's often hard to find when you occupy prime real estate on PCH & Torrance Blvd in Redondo Beach. I arrived mid-afternoon and there were only a few customers in the store. It was a fairly large, open space with plenty of tables available both inside and outside. I really liked the interior and how open it was. I tried their Hazy Days latte, which has two shots of espresso, a blend of chocolates and hazelnut milk. I was expecting it to be overly sweet, and was thankful that it wasn't. What threw me off, however, was that there appeared to be little shavings of chocolate floating around in the drink, which I didn't care for. Without the shavings, I would've really enjoyed it. Service was lacking in a big way, even though I was the only one in line. I was barely acknowledged when I arrived and there was certainly no acknowledgement when I placed a tip in the jar or a "thank you for coming" when I left. I tried this place for the first time today and ordered delivery. Everything on their menu looks great. Unfortunately, whoever packed my order forgot my wrap. I was looking forward to it. Went here early in the morning to get a head start on what I needed to be studying for. It's in the same plaza where the CVS is at, so parking was a breeze. Coming in, I noticed a few people were already there. I also noticed that there was only one outlet which was already being used and couldn't find any other tables/areas that had it. I would've been able to see if the drink was mine if my name was on it or a sticker with my name--something of that sort. Now, one more thing is missing from my order: MY CROISSANT. I give them the benefit of the doubt and wait for a couple more mins, to no avail. I went up to the other barista, this time a guy, and I'm like "hi I had a spinach feta croissant as well..." and he's staring at me like I'm dumb and says "okay give us a second." His was at approx 10:15-I've been giving you a second since 9:55 lol. It should've been done right when my drink came out or a couple minutes later. He comes back with my spinach feta croissant a couple minutes later and says "we will call your name when It's done" very sternly. Like no shi Sherlock! don't play with me. I love Klatch!! They don't have flashy decor or a very aesthetic space, but the coffee is insanely good, the baristas really know what they're talking about. The space is accessible with accessible parking in the lot, ramps, and a complaint restroom. The restrooms are gender neutral. There is plenty of parking behind the store in the cvs / klatch lot. I typically get a pour over when I come here. They switch out the options for pour overs and the price depends on what type of coffee you select for your pour over. These range from about 3-7 dollars. I am cheap so I usually go for the $3 option and have still found it to be amazing quality. It's fun to go with a few people, get all three, and ask for extra cups to make sort of a coffee flight (this would be a fun menu addition!). The coffees are made to order so they do take about 5 min, totally worth it for the quality. They also offer some crafty drinks. I had a pumpkin spice latte for the first time and was so happy! They use real pumpkin so it's as authentic as possible. They also offer some food. Yelp lists this as a breakfast/brunch place, but I would say it's more of a coffee shop with some sandwich and toast options. I've had the avocado toast and it was great and only $7! The space is average noise level - good to do some work or a small craft but probably not ideal to do a whole study session if you're noise sensitive. They have indoor and outdoor seating. read more

I believe it was Matthew who helped us out. He really took the time to explain and answer any questions and recommend the variety of coffees. Also gave us some helpful tips for brewing. They have a wide variety of flavors Ranging from single origin and blends. The prices also varied depending on the origin and rarity. Decided to try the community blend and it didn't disappoint. A plus is that 10% of all proceeds from the sale of our Community Blend will be donated to the Foothill Family Shelter, a local organization near our Rancho Cucamonga roastery. Disappointing. Wish we could give this place a better review, because it's super close to our house and we really wanted to love it. It took what felt like forever to get our order, but were okay with that - because hopefully means its going to be fresh and worth the wait! Not so much. We purchased one creme brulee coffee, 3 different breakfast sandwiches, and a plain croissant. The coffee is hands down delicious, smooth, creamy, and powerful. Loved. it. The food on the other hand is mediocre at best. The ham and cheese croissant was dry, and the cheese barely melted. There was so much pesto on "The melt", I couldn't eat it. The "large" coffee I ordered was what I would call "small for the price of a large" under most circumstances. I was not offered a refill. Plenty of parking in the rear lot.
