I really like this location. It's smaller than your typical stores but they have a lot of variety for the size. The store is always organized and the employees are always nice. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM KRISTI, and KAITLYN (asian girl with blonde hair, not sure if that is her name) Clueless reps and they don't go out of their way to assist a client. I felt as though I was accused when I wanted to return an item. Plus, I had to wait over 15 min to get the customer service rep to come back and tell me that she couldn't take my return. Doesn't the policy say, "you can return the item, anytime no questions askex, even without a receipt"? It seemed that whomever where the customer service reps at 6:30 today Tuesday, were THE WORST THE STORE had ever had!! The store manager needs to put these people in check and get better. Kohl's isn't exactly my kind of store. I'm more of a tshirt and jeans kind of guy, when I need to get dressed up. I get stuck going here because of gift cards and bad gifts. (Seriously, someone bought me a piece of luggage here, why would I pay $200 for something I can get from Ross for $40?) Anyway, on to the good: I walked in with a piece of luggage and walked out with a gift card, without any question. Also, they have great sales on Vans. All their merchandise is high quality. I got some 700 thread count sheets from here that just rock. Best sheets I've ever slept on. Great price too. They also have some nice bowling shirts (think Two and Half Men) for when you really need to get dressed up with your Vans. read more

We had a little mishap last week where half my items that were paid for were missing from the bag when I got home. I was a little pissed and called ready to snap but the manager came on and apologized and said when I come back to get the bag let them know so she can take another $5 off. So disappointed. I put a dress on hold so that I could come back the next day to use my coupon. I placed this hold at the end of the day. Unfortunately, I got held up at work and was unable to make it the next day but I went in the following morning right when they opened hoping that it would still be on hold or that it was put back on the floor after they closed the day before so no one would have been able to purchase it. They must have put the dress back early the next day because they didn't have it on hold and it wasn't on the floor. The people here are rude too. I always have issues when I come here and I don't go back for a while but then I give them another chance and I always regret it. read more

Not the best Kohl's I've been too, but it's okay. I don't care for the layout of the store. I thought their little girls department was lacking and their jr's dept seem a bit small. I pretty much only shop their clearance and sale items since the regular priced merchandise is a bit expensive. I've seen heels clearance priced at $5 though and that's why I keep going back. Shoes are super disorganized. I was shopping for shoes for my son and everything seemed out off stock on the shelves that he liked (of course they were the ones on sale so maybe that's why) and I didn't see anyone availalbe to ask for help. I've been to the location in Tustin and this one in HB is better in terms of selection. I come here to buy shirts for work and have found what I need on each occasion. The quality of the product is good and the service here is great with the associates being knowledgeable and friendly. Plus, you get discounts sent to you via email which gives you additional percentages off your total purchase. A friend recommended this store initially and I'm very satisfied, so it was great advice. read more

Definitely get a Kohl's card. Its completely free and you receive discounts in the mail every two weeks, if not more. Almost every discount I receive is for 20 percent off which is really good. I believe that discount can also be added in on top of sales you find at the store. I pretty much never pay more than half price for everything I buy at Kohl's. This Kohl's is great because it has all the crock pots and kitchen appliances and such. I never go buy an expensive kitchen appliance from Target... instead I use my discounts at Kohl's and it's way cheaper. I had been looking everywhere for nice, inexpensive, decorative, couch pillows and I finally found some at this Kohl's for only $9 a pillow.. Such a good deal! read more

This is review for Kohls.com since there is no other place for it. I ordered a Christmas give from Kohls to be delivered 12/19/14. At 9 PM that day I call UPS and find out my unit number never made it to the label. I called UPS 3 times to confirm the address change but it never left their warehouse before they returned it to sender. I contact Kohls to place a new order on 12/23. (It still has not shipped). I am assured I will get an immediate credit since the mistake is on their end to start with. 5 plus emails later those idiots (every time you write you get a different person) are telling me UPS attempted delivery 3 times and because of that I have to wait for it to be returned then an additional 3 weeks to process the credit. Those idiots can't read. I explained multiple times what happened and it's clear on UPS tracking that they never had the correct address. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and was so madI wrote a letter to the president of the company. What a bunch of morons. I dont know why I continue to shop with them. read more

Never one to leave a review, but the experience was super frustrating. Got everything rung up and checked out. The lady who helped us was too caught up asking me about why I bought my stuff the way I did. We paid with our Kohl's charge for the total of $228 and made a $240 cash payment right there. The cashier handed us back our card and but not the change for the cash. We went back to her register and waited 15 minutes for her because another customer needed help with restrictions on their card, which was fine. What made it utterly incredulous was that she told us she doesn't remember whether or not she gave us the change back and called the manager over, who said that he'll have to check the camera. We waited some more for him to come back and finally got our change, but not an apology was spoken of. I understand that preventions have to be made against theft and fraud because they're a department store, but there can be other ways to check that without making the customers feel like they're being treated as thieves. I don't know how the store works but perhaps a register audit to make sure the amount of money is right would have been a better alternative. We had an appointment that we were late for later because of that. It all just felt like an unnecessary, unprofessional waste of time that could have been avoided if the cashier did what she was supposed to. read more

I went here to get something from a coupon that I got through my email account. I wasn't white, so I felt like I was being watched throughout my shopping experience. How do I know? I went to the dressing room to try on some shirts. I then came out to put it all back on the racks. This one lady (Loss prevention) was in the next stall dressing room. I came out to put my stuff back. She then, proceeded to enter the room that I had just been out of Probably looking for things to nail me with. I came back in and saw her in my room. She turned around, saw me and then said that no she wasn't using the room since she took nothing in. She did that a couple of times as well, because I saw another lady trying clothes on as well. At the check out, the associates there made me feel uncomfortable when I used a coupon. I guess they probably had a lot of loss in revenue and now they have a quota per coupon usage or some sort. I am an advid Kohl's shopper; however, I don't like this Kohl's. I don't think I'll be back at this Kohl's and will be spreading the word about my shopping experience! Trust me: do not go here unless maybe you are white. They are a pack or wolfs and got their eyes on you where ever you are in the store. Worst Kohl's ever!! read more

I have a couple complaints about this store... I went around christmas time and the store was well organized, easy to shop around, seemed overall nice. BUT first complaint: The dressing rooms have MAJOR dust bunnies in all the corners. someone needs to get on that. Second complaint, which is why I am writing this review.. is there is a cashier there that is EXTREMELY pushy with the kohls charge card. I get you are probably on commission with those maybe? But I counted SEVEN times that she asked me if I wanted to open a kohls charge in my one transaction, i politely said no thank you, I don't shop here much and then she told me I would if I had the kohls charge card. I politely said no thank you, I have enough cards in my wallet. She asked me again, after the fifth time of her asking me, I was ready to drop my stuff and just walk out. If I wasn't in a time crunch and didn't need my new running shoes, I would have. I didn't go to that kohls store again until last week, I got a new job and decided to shop there for new clothes since they are a good price. Im standing in line thinking to myself... I think this is the older lady I had last time who BEGGED me for a kohls charge card and I decided i would NEVER go to this location again... but I couldn't remember for sure, and I was the only one in line so I couldn't let someone go in front of me.. I was stuck. So the transaction was going good.. and then sure enough.. she starts her speech. This time she only asked me four times.. but she was extremely pushy about it. If I have to say no more than twice... PLEASE STOP ASKING ME. This has verified my opinion about this location.. We are a same-sex interracial couple that moved to HB 10 years ago and own a home nearby this store. The two of us were shopping here and noticed their security followed us from department to department. There's really nothing unusual about our appearance to draw attention other than being an interracial SS couple. By the time we reached the men's clothes and a sales associate asked if we found everything we needed I was frank about being bothered that their security associate trailing us. Her excuse was the security was a Kohl's contractor. However, that didn't make the situation any more comfortable. It was the last time we shopped there. We have so many other options for buying the exact same items that Kohls' offers. read more

THIS IS ABOUT KOHL'S ONLINE SHOPPING....Placed an order on Nov. 24, 2014..to arrive Dec. 3, 2014. They are now saying it has been lost. They will not honor the sale price I paid for the merchandise. They are saying I will have to pay the full retail price to receive my order. I do not think this is a good way to build customer satisfaction. I normally don't go to kohl's and after my experience I might not return. I came looking for jewelry to give as a gift. I waited for 15 mins as the sales person Sydney Was helping other people as someone who used to work in retail I completely understand that it is busy especially when you are by yourself she never acknowledged me so when it look like she was ringing someone up I am said when you have a minute can you please grab me this necklace she completely ignored me so I went up again and I said excuse me but when you have a second she snapped at me and told me she was busy and I needed to wait I told her I've been waiting 15 minutes and she said again she was to busy and that I needed to wait. Some else came over but I even contemplated spending my money here. She was lucky that michelle was so nice and kind and changed my experience. But to snap at a customer, ignore them and to talk to them with so much attitude is completely out of line. read more

Kohl's has nice quality items but once I went to the white sale and ended up paying over $100. I wasn't planning to spend that much money so it shocked me how expensive it was. Individual items were not expensive but when you add it up, it was a lot. But I do like their quality. The cashier got distracted while checking us out. Someone called her on her headset. She got confused by what she had rung up and I had a bad feeling I should stop and have her recount everything, but there was a line. Sure enough I get home and find an extra item we were charged for $20 some dollars. So I now have to keep all the tags on and take them back for someone else to figure out what went wrong! I went in to exchange two pairs of jeans that were too long. The gift was bought on a Kohl's credit card, which I do not have. The guy mentions the points and I could not exchange the same with different size. The card was credited and I would be buying my own gift from another to me. This is primarily a clothing store. Not being able to exchange for the right size is ludicrous. Have some integrity with your products. Honor your products not your prices! They appear to return, but not exchange. Don't go there to buy gifts . Might as well give cash instead of disappointment. read more

Oh I am impressed with the items that were for sale they do appear to be high quality trendy fashionable I find that they are profoundly over priced compreable and in some cases identical items are found and local shops and department stores far less Kohl's. I just give kudos for their use of coupons incentives and discounts which makes my shopping they're very occasional. What I did find intensely deplorable was the behavior of the adolescent staff and their fearless leader of female manager who believes that is acceptable to have her stuff describe people by a derogatory adjective their nationality and perhaps a behavior or attribute in place of their name in the presence of customers. When I shared my concern over this practice her response was no of course I don't mind they call me the pretty blonde one why else would I mind. There a lot of insight and inability to be the least bit politically correct has turned me off from shopping at the store but I was out there GetGo not extremely impressed with shopping at Kohl's makes me wish that Mervyns was still open read more

As I was approaching the front of the line I noticed that one cashier, Johnnie, was flying through customers, checking people out left and right as well as creating sweet and short conversation. I had the worst experience there my first time ever going there and I was wrongly discriminated. My family and I were shopping there to buy some time to watch a movie. My sister and I were downstairs while my parents were exploring my little sister handed me her portable charger and I put it in my pocket not thinking much of it. We continued looking after that for about 20 min or less and we found our parents and they bought things. By the way the employees kept looking at us like if we were animals at the zoo the majority of the time . So my parents bought there things and we were leaving. At the door a man approached us and I didn't think much of it. He talked to us and set my parents aside which I found odd mind you my little sister is under age. And he told us to give him back the makeup my sister told me to put in my pocket. My sister reached in my pocket and told him Are you taking about my portable charger that I gave her" and he simply said " that's it " and didn't even apologize for accusing us. He walked out I was shocked my dad spoke to the lady who was kind enough to help us. All she did was write my number and name. I'm saying guys don't shop here they decimate. In the time we were at the store instead of accusing with no proof he should of checked his camera and then he would of seen we didn't take anything instead of just attacking us like that. Sometimes Kohls can get expensive so I only come here during big sales like after the Christmas holidays or January sales. I like their sheets and bath towels... nice and plushy. Clothes?
