    Chowpatti bowl
    Mariana G.

Konfusedesi is a food truck serving delicious Indian food. I loved their Chowpatti bowl, which consists of chana masala (chickpea curry), rice, and little bit of salad. The curry is flavorful and definitely on the spicy side, but not so spicy it's inedible. The portions are generous; my bowl lasted me for two meals, and it reheated wonderfully. The owners are very friendly too.

Wow... I am slipping on my reviews... I have been meaning to write this review for months. The last I came here, I ordered from chaacha as well as the Mexican food truck next to this one as I knew chaacha would take a hot minute to make the food. Lets get to it, shall we? Vegetable Samosa Fun fact: While samosas are traditionally associated with India, this food actually originated in the Middle East. The name samosa comes from samsa, which is the Persian word for pyramid. The samosa Chaacha made were packed with spicy seasoned vegetables and had the perfect crust to make this appetizer a show stopper! Chili Cheese Dosa I am not a fan of this menu item but Thing Two is. A chilli cheese dosa is a cheesy dosa made with easily available ingredients and are a favorite with littles. This item is similar to the chili cheese toast. Thing Two devoured this all by herself. Hungry Texan The chicken tikka masala itself had a nice, subtle curry flavor. The sauce was creamy and flavorful and seemed to linger after each bite. The combination of cool avocado flavors and the warm curry flavor from the tikki masala made this dish a hit. #supportlocal

    Fried paneer taco

I was a fan of Ravi's food when he was at Kurry Takos in central or south Austin. When I heard he had set up shop up north at Konfusedesi, I knew I had to visit. It's a long haul from where I live to where he parks the trailer along 620, but it was worth every drop of gas we burned. The authentic sambar, chutney, and dosa are excellent, just as they were at his previous place. We had a masala dosa and a fried paneer taco, and both were excellent. We were full, and couldn't justify eating more on the spot. So we took two dosas to go for later. Btw if you want dosas, don't wait for the tail end of their hours; when they run out of batter, they're out of dosas and that's that. Dosa lovers, go early.

    Lamb CURRY EXTRA HOT BABY

HYPE ALERT If you're looking for some of the most authentic curry, look no further than Konfusedesi. This truck is situated at the Grub Park near round rock and is the real deal, serving up some of the most mouth-watering dishes I've ever had! Let's talk about their lamb curry! The curry is thiccc with three C's, and the lamb was so tender and buttery that it practically melted in my mouth! Bone me. I got extra hot because I like tormenting my body and embarrassing my sweating ass in public. And don't even get me started on the samosas! These little pockets of goodness were so moist and flavorful, plus the owner Raj hooked them up for FREE! It's hard to avoid carbs when they are slingin these babies in my face ugh. Raj puts a lot of effort into each and every dish, and you can tell he has a passion to bring his family recipes to the masses! If you're in the area, you need to check them out, and if you're not in the area (like me) get TF up and go enjoy some of the best Indian Austin has to offer. #austinfood #austineats #atxfoodie #keepaustineatin #512eats #atxfood #atxfoodporn #atxfoodtruck #atxfoodtrucks #atxfoodies (edited) download.gif

Can I copy paste my review of Kurry Takos here? Probably not. Chef has renamed and rebranded and has moved to 15400 Ranch road 620 and has officially turned this food truck park into a legit hub for Indian food. There are now Dosas available for your culinary pleasure. Just come here and eat. You will NOT regret it.

Delicious Indian food. Lamb curry, chicken tikka masala and mango lassi! Highly recommend this truck!

We had this food truck out tonight and neighbors loved it. ClearWater Ranch in Liberty Hill. We had a lot of positive comments about the quality of the food. Also on the service and the friendly staff. It was a hit and we will have them back. Highly recommend this truck!

Been here few times as I know the guys who own this place. In fact I have been going to there joint since they were in downtown on Congress. Upon owners recommendation I tried there paneer chili dosa. It was a mixture of fusion dosa with soft paneer and crunchy veggies with hot spicy chutney on the dosa itself. Sambhar was on point as well. It's a neat little food truck parked under the shaded trees. This chili paneer dosa is a must try for everybody ..

Sitting at a picnic table eating chicken tikka taco that is so good

They're so nice and the food is absolutely amazing. If you want a cute little scenic picnic stop it's perfect. I recommend 100%

We ordered the goat biryani, Maharaja Punjabi Dal and Baigan Bharta with a tandoori roti. Each of these dishes were delicious! Both came with fresh white basmati rice. We saw him working very hard with all the other guests too. He was preparing cocktails, & drinks etc. while attending to all guests! What we liked most was that the food had a home made quality, and it did not upset our gastrointestinal systems! :) The restaurant ambiance is good. The cutlery and glassware were clean! Overall, If you are looking for a good Indian Restaurant then Jaipur Palace is very good in Austin!! The prices are very attractive in these times! We hope it stays this! When I walked into Tandoori Lounge, I was immediately transported back to my time in India. The atmosphere is sultry and seductive. You are drawn in my the dimly lit restaurant with warm soothing colors. You hear this soft intoxicating music as you take in these tiny table lamps. We were all in! I met a Yelp friend for dinner that I had not seen for quite some time. It was great catching up! As you walked in, you could smell a hint of the aroma of spices coming from the kitchen. Is it possible that everything you eat or drink is exceptional? Can service be at the highest possible level? Yes and Yes! We ordered the onion kulcha and garlic naan as appetizers. They were fresh, hot, soft and super flavorful. You could taste the onions in the kulcha and the garlic was pronounced in the garlic naan. We both ordered the lamb/goat marsala (medium for me and mild for my friend). The entrée was an explosion of flavors in your mouth...so good! The entrée was rich and enjoyable to eat without being heavy. It came with basmati rice where the kernels did not stick to each other. The rice was airy and fluffy. My friend ordered an Indian beer. When in India, Indian beer is a staple. I ordered a lemon drop martini. This was the best martini I have had in a very long time. Shamu, the bartender, came over to our table to explain what other martinis he could make that were not on the menu. The Lemon Drop martini was ice cold (loved that), smooth and perfectly blended. Shamu said that the glass was first chilled before the martini was poured. Drinking narvana... Riya, our server, was so sweet and kind. She was meticulous in serving our table - water constantly refilled, lemons delivered and food strategically placed on the table. Riya suggested our entrée as the most popular dish. We absolutely understand why. I am not sure why we have never eaten at Tandoori. I definitely will be returning when I am back in the South part of the city.

Got the Khuroos E Tursh - would recommend! The cream sauce was sweet and delicious. I LOVED the rice that came with the dishes - it already had some flavor and the texture was similar to Thai broken rice. Naan is a great value - 4 pieces for $5. Ordered the Jalapeño cream cheese naan and it had a generous portion of cream cheese inside. However it wasn't spicy which I was expecting - the jalapeño pieces just tasted like bell peppers but it needed a kick of spice. I would try the palak paneer naan next time instead. I tried the Ulavacharu soup--absolutely delicious. It's main ingredient is horse gram, which apparently is in the legume family. It wasn't like any soup I've had before, so description is a bit tough. It was fairly spicy to start with, but less so as I kept eating it. The only things I could identify was ground up horse gram, some sweet onions, and some thinly shaved ginger, but it had a lot of complexity. Highly recommend that and the rose milk (especially if you need some relief from the spiciness when you start out.) I had a little bit of my friend's butter chicken sauce, and that was excellent too. More heavily tomato-based than I'm used to, but a lot of depth of flavor. I'd happily order that in the future. Several curry's such as the Chettinad special curry, butter chicken, tikka masala, chicken 65, several biryanis, all consistently delicious. One of my personal favorites is the plain dosa and curry combo, which comes with four different chutneys that are all fantastic. Even my young son loves coming here because they have things like shrimp noodles and fried rice that are kid friendly while still tasting great.
