The only thing I mean the ONLY thing that stops this from being 5 stars is CASH ONLY!! Bring cash ahead of time if you plan on going here because finding a nearby ATM is a pain in the butt. The 7/11 machine has been robbed so it's gone and the Wells Fargo machine up the street in front fiesta is hit or miss. Fiesta is the closest ATM. Other than that this was the best damn baked potato I've ever had in my entire 41 years of existence on this earth. Talk about full this held true to its name because after eating this I basically passed out and woke up in the middle of the night in a daze not realizing I had fallen asleep. I indulged in "The big knockout" it's a baked potato with ribs sausage brisket topped with cheese chives bacon bits and sour cream. I've been thinking about this potato for the last 4 days now and I look forward to getting another one real soon. Like this weekend

Food was very good. Even though it 20 minutes to get 2 baked potatoes. Overly priced but delicious. The place gave me an old school rodeo feeling. We paid $36 for 2 baked potatoes that had chopped links and brisket. Definitely worth trying!

When I first step to the counter, there was a lady standing there she said nothing to me. Hi can I take your order or nothing then I ordered the food even after I got such horrible service. I got the worst baked potato. I have ever eaten in my life, I asked for chopped beef and sausage. The beef was not chopped, and it was not tender. I could not eat any of the chopped beef that was in my baked potato ,I literally had to go through and pick the chop beef, out to the point I got tired, and I threw the baked potato in trash. The sausage wasn't even tender. I would never come to this place ever again I always try to support my black owned businesses, but not when they give half ass service and food. Ps. We the black community don't owe you nothing so stop acting like it and do your job and cook good food and give good service good day.

Please bring back the jalapeños and pickles for the Big Heavyweight and Lightweight. Pretty please! Give us the option. The combination was stellar. I have been rocking with Kooly's since it was on Bonnie View. I will keep rocking with Kooly's. Please go on and get a hot link sandwich. A Heavyweight potato. Anything they have try it and you will like it. Your taste buds will be happy.

Got takeout of the massively gargantuan BBQ potato. Delicious. Meats were juicy. So much of everything on it. Four of us had lunch from that one potato. Will have to return to check out the other foods on the menu.

Food is amazing and the link sandwich is awesome as well. Definitely worth going back too.

I've eaten at Kooly's a hand full of times now and let me just say, they do not disappoint. I'm always iffy about where I get BBQ from because some restaurants do not live up to their name, but Kooly's does. The meat is always tender and juicy and their sides are great too! Also, you get enough food for your money's worth. FYI, since they've moved to a bigger location earlier this year, you can now eat inside. And, they only accept cash now.

Cash only.....Cash only....Cash only Customer service- 10/10 Wait time- minimal Portions - Generous Pricing - Fair market prices Cleanliness- 10/10 I'll never eat at any other BBQ places again. This is the 1 & my forever spot. Finally a place that will give you what you pay for portion wise. Everything about this place impressed me from the sweet cashiers to the food. This place could slap some sauce on a piece of bread & I'd eat it lol. My food is the freaking bomb - straight up! Don't walk but RUN to this place. I live in farmers Branch and don't care how long the drive is, I've got to try everything on the menu now. I ordered a rib, sausage & brisket knockout

The pastrami is incredible--it literally melts in your mouth and is packed with flavor. Their brisket is just as amazing and always cooked perfectly. The service is fast, the staff is friendly, and the vintage atmosphere gives the place a lot of character. My biggest tip is to get there right when they open at 10:00 AM, Wednesday through Friday. The line builds quickly, and you don't want to miss out on their best items. If you're looking for some of the best barbecue around, Cattleack is absolutely worth the trip!

She later acknowledged the mistake and admitted the error, but not before making an unnecessary scene. The brisket was good, but the overall experience could have been better. 2 stars.

My friend absolutely loved the burnt ends. He liked them so much that after we finished the first order, he went back and got a second one, plus some brisket and elote. I thought everything was good, but I will say the menu felt a little limited. This is definitely one of those places where I am glad I finally tried it because it is part of the local DFW BBQ experience, but it is probably not somewhere I would specifically seek out again. That said, if someone wanted to go, I would go again without complaint. I DO want to try the Burndt end bloody mary!

Hey Lockhart Smokehouse!…read more (And I'm curious WHY you are called Lockhart - 'cause I used to live in Austin, TX, and going to Lockhart for BBQ was one of our favorite Friday afternoon excursions...) The vibe in this place is really great. The people are friendly. Downtown Plano is cool. The restaurant and bar area are clean, well-attended, and the food and drink are all good. So why only 3-stars? To be fair, I came here on a weeknight around 6:30pm, which is not the best way to judge a BBQ place. I will try to come back on a Friday at lunch time, and I hope things will be epic. Bottom line, I wasn't blown away by the meats! They were well cooked, but the flavor just didn't impress. The Sause (sorry, I'm a Rudy's loyalist) was tasty, but didn't blow my mind. A nice sweet + smoky flavor that worked better with the Spare Ribs than the Brisket. (Another minot note -- I know a lot of BBQ places eschew Baby Back Ribs for Spare Ribs. Lockhart only does Spare Ribs.) Would I come back? 100% Would I recommend that you go here? 100% I have to say the bartender was terrific, and the pit masters were super friendly, so no dis on the staff. I was just hoping for "oh my god" BBQ and didn't quite get there. Still a great visit.

The brisket and pork ribs were decent, but honestly pretty dry and lacking in flavor when compared to some other BBQ places in DFW. For the price, it's pretty similar to other BBQ in the area. The Texas Twinkie is a jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese and brisket and wrapped in bacon. It was my favorite item as the cream cheese and bacon balanced out the spiciness of the jalapeño. The mac n cheese was also delicious with the perfect amount of spice. The service was great too as they made a mistake on my order and quickly corrected it. I like that this place is open daily and for dinner too. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for some BBQ, but if you're a huge fan of BBQ then I recommend going to the other top BBQ places.

This time, I had birria tacos on my mind. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - I love the Dallas Farmer's Market, and Hurtado is the perfect restaurant to occupy this space. There is a line that steadily moves, nice outdoor and indoor seating, and if you walk towards the back you can see all the smokers. If you visit on a weekend, try to arrive before noon to avoid long lines. 1 Star. Service - You place your order, take a number, and your order is brought out to you. While you don't get to see the staff cut your meat in front of you, they are very fast and efficient. There are also Hurtado staff who will clear plates off your table. Great people here. 1 Star. Food - I came for the Birria tacos. Hurtado uses their smoked brisket, which shredded and paired will all things that make Hurtado special - Mexico flavors (cilantro, onions, and that beefy consommé). I also ordered a two-meat plate with brisket and bacon burnt ends. The brisket is great (and well represented in many Yelp reviews). On this visit, the bacon burnt ends stole the spotlight. A well-seasoned and smoked pork belly cube will melt in your mouth. I washed down my meal with the Tres Leches Banana Pudding and ended an incredible meal. One last very important note, Hurtado is a great value. My two tacos, 2 meat plate, and desert were $50. P.S. I split this meal with my son. I love food but I'm not a glutton. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I've been to the OG Hurtado in Arlington, the one at Globe Life Field, but the location in the Dallas Farmers Market is my favorite of them all. Yes, I will be back! 1 Star.
