Delicious! They have a variety of Asian foods from Korean to Taiwanese to Japanese and Chinese. Inside is clean and we were able to find seating. We ordered the Bulgolgi and Yaki Soba. Both were very good and tasted authentic (especially the Kimchi, it was more on the sour side but still good)!! Oh and the server brought us miso soup and it was delicious! In the east-side of the Galleria Market, is a small Pan-Asian eatery known as the "Korner Kitchen." While this is not a Michelin Five-Star restaurant, they really have a sizeable, varied menu that embraces both Japanese, Korean and Taiwanese menu items. The best part is that all of the ingredients are fresh and delicious. I decided to try the "Teriyaki Chicken" entrée, which came with a bowl of miso soup, rice, vegetables, and delicious dark meat chicken with teriyaki sauce on it. In retrospect, I wish I would have ordered extra sauce as well. However, the food was delicious on it's own. I gave my order to the lady at cash register, and she brought out my miso soup a few minutes later on, then came the Teriyaki Chicken. I will say this is one the cleanest eateries I have ever been in. The next time I go back to the Korner Kitchen, I want to try their bibimbap, onigiri and stir-fry noodles. read more

Yum! Love that this is located inside the Galleria Asian market so that you can pair some grocery errands with a snack or lunch. I tried the Soon Tofu Stew, which came out hot and bubbling and hit the spot over some rice. Also tried the Dumpling Soup which was very comforting with huge tasty dumplings in a more "clear soup" style broth. Both tasty! I also tried some of a Tuna Onigiri, which I thought was just okay, but for $4 that would make a nice snack. It was mostly rice though. Crab Rangoon was nice - more imitation crab, less cream cheese, and more gingery than others. Light and crispy skin. Purchase cold beverages in the store fridge next to this spot and "BYOB". No frills but it was clean! * Taiwanese Pork Belly Bun (2pc) - the menu isn't really descriptive on this but don't come expecting a bao boys or Miss Kim style bao. It's more like the proper Gua bao you'd find in Taiwan! They were huge too - again larger than other baos in town. It had both pickled cabbage (suan cai - 酸菜) and lightly pickled cucumbers. The sprinkled/crushed peanuts is also traditional but watch out if you have an allergy!! So, it's pretty much okay. The counter had nobody when I showed up, but someone who was chatting nearby at least came round when they saw me. The order was filled quickly, which is always good. The food is...okay? The kimbap roll had sushi rice (????) so it tasted more Japanese than Korean. It was good, but also not what I'd ordered. I recommend Orange Market for kimbap rolls, especially since they're cheaper to boot. The onigiri's rice wasn't salted enough--the rice to filling ratio was also off. The place is good for a quick bite. I might give it another shot the next time I'm in Galleria, but don't expect too much. read more

The food here is SO FRESH! Stumbled upon this gem when I was on a work trip. I was craving sushi and it was down the street from my office. I walked in to find the restaurant attached to an Asian grocery store, which was so clutch since I needed to grab some kimchee and rice anyway. I walked in and was instantly greeted - the staff were so warm and friendly! I had initially wanted a roll, but when I asked for recommendations, the staffer suggested the poke bowl. It did not disappoint! Packed with delicious sushi rice, and a mixture of salmon, crab, and tuna were on top. The seasoning was soooo flavorful. I also appreciated the red cabbage, avocado, edamame, and other veggies to counter the starch and protein. For a small bowl, it definitely filled me up! I was so satisfied and would definitely order it again. The restaurant is clean and simple, but it's more of a "no-fuss" spot for food rather than a "date night" place. Poke bowl was beautiful, and just as fresh as the other poke spots in the A2 area. Onigirazu was yummy and at only $5, a good quick, affordable lunch. Workers are super nice and food didn't take long at all Being that the restaurant is attached to Galleria mart, while your food is being made you can check out all the goods next door, including a substantial assortment of Asian beverages, snacks, and spices. I've dined from here twice now, the first time was only take out and the second coming with Yelper Tiffany H. I ordered the Jajangmyeon my first time and the way it's spelled is very misleading as their rendition is actually much closer to Chinese style Zha Jiang Mian as opposed to Korean Jajangmyeon which is an important distinction to make bc the two dishes are VERY different from one another (especially considering the restaurant is located inside of a Korean grocery store). The noodle dish itself was not bad per se, but I wasn't expecting pork belly either which is much fattier than pieces of pork shoulder or ground pork and I would have reconsidered ordering it had I known it was pork belly as opposed to just "minced pork" as it's currently written on the menu since I didn't want anything that heavy for lunch. I hope they will reconsider the naming and description of this dish to better guide customers in their choice! On my second visit I ordered the Japanese curry with pork katsu along with the Taiwanese pork belly Bao which was actually the highlight of our meal here. These baos are quite sizeable and the pickled veggies that came with it balanced the dish out really nicely. The curry on the other hand was just kind of ok, I wish there was more curry as opposed to all the meat that was in there paired with the pork katsu which felt like a lot of meat on meat lol. Because the pan Asian menu spans across so many different cuisines (Chinese, Korean, Taiwanese, Japanese, and even a Thai soup) it's hard to truly give a thorough review until I've tried more of the menu. But I'll continue updating my review if I do come back, and I'm still intrigued enough by some of the other menu items to give it at least another go! read more

My only issue is that dining in is limited but the food is fabulously yummy! Even my husband described his Bibimbop ad tastier than most found in Korean restaurants! We ordered to go for both the Bibimbop and Taiwanese pork belly rice bowl. The Pork belly was nicely spiced and diced so I didn't feel guilty but the flavor was familiar and delicious with hard boiled egg, bok choy and kiam chye. So home made and yummy! The second time I came with a friend and we had the pork belly Bao and they were huge that we were stuffed and could not finish off our pork belly rice bowl! Our tom yum soup was less spicy hot but we loved the taste. Ann Lin has had a great hand with her former restaurants because she has sophisticated taste buds.
