It's a restaurant connected to an Asian Supermarket. The ingredients were displayed in a glass enclosure and looks fresh. You order at the cashier. There's a couple of tables to sit down and eat. When I got my meals, the food was pretty decents. The presentation looked good. The sides were disappointing, especially the shredded carrots. It was cold and dry up. The egg was overcooked. The kimchi was ok. The bulgogi beef could used more seasoning.

Delicious! They have a variety of Asian foods from Korean to Taiwanese to Japanese and Chinese. Inside is clean and we were able to find seating. We ordered the Bulgolgi and Yaki Soba. Both were very good and tasted authentic (especially the Kimchi, it was more on the sour side but still good)!! Oh and the server brought us miso soup and it was delicious! I would definitely recommend this place and come back. The grocery store attached is disappointing though and I was hoping for a bigger selection of items.

So happy Korner Kitchen is in my neighborhood! Been shopping at Galleria for years and happy to continue to support their business. From the KK menu I've had: - ebi fry onigirazu - chicken teriyaki - Taiwanese beef noodle soup - Dan Dan Men - shrimp and chicken spring roll - gimbap tempura roll Of these, I enjoyed the Taiwanese beef noodle soup, ebi fry onigirazu, and shrimp and chicken spring roll the most (but nothing is bad by any means). This would make a meal for a king (though the soup is plenty of food). Excited to try more of their menu and support this business in the time to come.

Stopped in with Yelper Tina H.! The pan-Asian menu is expansive but confusing to me. It's located inside Galleria Market so it makes me think I should order Korean food here but I kinda just winged it! Fast casual style - you order at the register and they bring out your order. They seemed to mostly have to go orders. Counter style seating and a two 4 tops and 2 2 tops so wouldn't really accommodate a big party. No frills but it was clean! * Taiwanese Pork Belly Bun (2pc) - the menu isn't really descriptive on this but don't come expecting a bao boys or Miss Kim style bao. It's more like the proper Gua bao you'd find in Taiwan! They were huge too - again larger than other baos in town. It had both pickled cabbage (suan cai - 酸菜) and lightly pickled cucumbers. The sprinkled/crushed peanuts is also traditional but watch out if you have an allergy!! Love that AA has Gua bao now! * Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup - the meat was dry. weird noodle choice imho and the broth was okay (spicy) but meh all around. * spicy fish cake app - wouldn't order again. Too much sesame oil and Tina found it fishy!

Got the beef bulgogi rice bowl! Came out extremely fast, the service was very nice. The beef was super flavorful and it was a ton of food for $16. It's attached to the Asian market so you knowwwww it was gonna be good

Korner Kitchen is a solid 3.5 rounded up. Food is decent for carryout, and I thought the prices were reasonable. I was also nice to stop into Galleria while waiting for my order.

The food here is SO FRESH! Stumbled upon this gem when I was on a work trip. I was craving sushi and it was down the street from my office. I walked in to find the restaurant attached to an Asian grocery store, which was so clutch since I needed to grab some kimchee and rice anyway. I walked in and was instantly greeted - the staff were so warm and friendly! I had initially wanted a roll, but when I asked for recommendations, the staffer suggested the poke bowl. It did not disappoint! Packed with delicious sushi rice, and a mixture of salmon, crab, and tuna were on top. The seasoning was soooo flavorful. I also appreciated the red cabbage, avocado, edamame, and other veggies to counter the starch and protein. For a small bowl, it definitely filled me up! I was so satisfied and would definitely order it again. The restaurant is clean and simple, but it's more of a "no-fuss" spot for food rather than a "date night" place. Either way, it's cozy enough to spend an afternoon at with excellent food. You gotta check it out if you're ever in the area!

Food was delicious! The service workers were very nice and most helpful with explanations. I like the cafe intro to the grocery. Made getting seaweed salad easier when leaving

Small Asian eatery tucked in, connected to Galleria mart next door with a surprisingly wide variety of Korean and Japanese bites to choose from. I had their Chirashi (mixed fish and vegetables) poke bowl and tuna salad onigirazu (little rice sandwich, like a "sushi pocket" ). Poke bowl was beautiful, and just as fresh as the other poke spots in the A2 area. Onigirazu was yummy and at only $5, a good quick, affordable lunch. Workers are super nice and food didn't take long at all Being that the restaurant is attached to Galleria mart, while your food is being made you can check out all the goods next door, including a substantial assortment of Asian beverages, snacks, and spices. Reminds me of the Asian markets back in NYC. Would go back to try the prepackaged meals

Taiwanese pork belly bao, Taiwanese beef noodle soup, Japanese curry with pork katsu
    Tina H.

I've dined from here twice now, the first time was only take out and the second coming with Yelper Tiffany H. I ordered the Jajangmyeon my first time and the way it's spelled is very misleading as their rendition is actually much closer to Chinese style Zha Jiang Mian as opposed to Korean Jajangmyeon which is an important distinction to make bc the two dishes are VERY different from one another (especially considering the restaurant is located inside of a Korean grocery store). The noodle dish itself was not bad per se, but I wasn't expecting pork belly either which is much fattier than pieces of pork shoulder or ground pork and I would have reconsidered ordering it had I known it was pork belly as opposed to just "minced pork" as it's currently written on the menu since I didn't want anything that heavy for lunch. I hope they will reconsider the naming and description of this dish to better guide customers in their choice! On my second visit I ordered the Japanese curry with pork katsu along with the Taiwanese pork belly Bao which was actually the highlight of our meal here. These baos are quite sizeable and the pickled veggies that came with it balanced the dish out really nicely. The curry on the other hand was just kind of ok, I wish there was more curry as opposed to all the meat that was in there paired with the pork katsu which felt like a lot of meat on meat lol. Because the pan Asian menu spans across so many different cuisines (Chinese, Korean, Taiwanese, Japanese, and even a Thai soup) it's hard to truly give a thorough review until I've tried more of the menu. But I'll continue updating my review if I do come back, and I'm still intrigued enough by some of the other menu items to give it at least another go!

Tuna roll, Salmon roll, hamachi nigiri, miso soup

The food is great for the price, the fish tastes fresh. The salmon was better than the tuna in my opinion. The customer service is nice from the few times I've gone there. There are a few tables to sit at if you would like to, but it's great for a on the go meal as well. The rolls I got were $5/each, Nigiri $4, and soup was $2.

I've tried 4 items and the food is amazing every time. Ingredients are fresh and have never had a problem with the wait. Employees are kind as well. Definitely recommend.

Wow. This place has it all…read more Sister and I went on a Friday night- quick service, quick food, AND the ladies who served us were so sweet, attentive, and absolutely the best. The inside is so cute and the plates are so pretty too! Not only are the physical dishes cool, but the presentation of the sushi was too! I got 2 orders of the simple tuna, and one New York. My sister got an order of the California rolls and 2 shrimp tempura orders. Presentation was fantastic, and the sushi was divine. The salmon was so tender and almost buttery in consistency, and the veggies inside the rolls are so fresh and crisp. I always find sushi so refreshing and it hit the spot. I'd also like to mention how fantastic they are about dietary restrictions. Tons of vegan/vegetarian options PLUS GLUTEN FREE SOY SAUCE, APPS, AND A MENU. For the celiacs out there: I didn't get glutened! They took it seriously and I had no issues! If you're not sure where to go, go to Kanbu. The entire meal was around $65, and we had a lot of sushi plus a massive pot of tea. Sushi can be so expensive and I find this place to have great prices, especially for the size and quality of sushi! If you want to support authentic, local places in Ann Arbor, go to kanbu! My only regret is that I didn't take pictures.

The quality of the food is still amazing and worth a visit, but there were some items I wish stayed on the menu. For example, the spicy salmon crispy rice is no longer available and only available in the tuna form. The portions are also smaller, now coming in three small bites rather than the two big bites from before. The gochujang rigatoni and kimchi paella are also unavailable. Some new dishes I tried and loved were the short rib and the grilled octopus. The octopus was incredibly tender and I couldn't stop eating it! It also comes with delicious potatoes. The short rib was a larger portion and also tasted delicious. The rest of my table ordered the miso cod. The miso cod was delicious, but the portion was quite small and arguably not worth its price compared to the short rib. Cocktails that I recommend are The Gatsby and The Promised Neverland if you like sweeter drinks! For the service, we felt a bit rushed as we were dining. Normally the drinks come out followed by the appetizers, but our appetizers came first and the drinks came with our mains. I think there was a missed opportunity to sip on our drinks and chat with our party as we enjoyed the restaurant's ambience. Otherwise, the food came quickly and was well served.

It was restaurant weekend in downtown Ann Arbor and we didn't have a reservation, so we obliged, although the space was pretty empty. Once we got to the bar, the young waitress slammed menus down in front of us and acted extremely annoyed by our presence. After bothering us every minute for the next 5 minutes to order, me and my friend put in our orders in haste. We then waited for 30 minutes for our meals to arrive. I got the "Amazing Shrimp" sushi roll and my friend got the "Grilled Angus Short Rib". As noted on the menu it comes with Mashed Potatoes, Shishito Peppers, and Garlic Chives. Per my friend's request, the order did not come with the Shishito Peppers or Garlic Chives, but it also didn't have the potatoes. After asking for the potatoes, our server went back and we could hear her yelling at the kitchen staff. Minutes later she came out with a bowl of 3 potatoes, not mashed and not hot. My roll was great and I'd definitely order again if I come back, but I'm honestly not too inclined to after this experience. Lastly, the restaurant itself was freezing. It was a cold day but it was way colder inside than it should've been. We ended up keeping our coats on for most of dinner. I really do want to like it here because the vibe seemed very modern and clean, however the service, food, and level of professionalism fell short of my expectations.
