Stopped by at 1:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday it was empty. But it was meticulous and smelled very clean and the gentleman that took our order was phenomenal. They got a few more orders as we waited about 10 minutes (exactly what he said it would be) and we took our orders to go. The food was phenomenal. Everything was freshly made and it was cooked with love and perfection. You just don't get that in QSR restaurants. I was a GM for 10 years and I have never been more impressed the operations , cleanliness and food at this place. It was not soggy and reasonably priced - as it was actually much better than any burger I have gotten at "higher end" restaurants. As an avid kDrama watcher & passing by pretty often, it's a tragedy that I haven't stopped by to eat here sooner because omo! (the way they say "oh my gosh" in the kdramas) this place is so good. My husband, after going through the menu numerous times, with most burgers cleverly named after a kPop group, decided on the MISS A BURGER because of the kalbi beef. The burger was huge and my husband couldn't stop commenting on how flavorful & perfectly cooked it was. The grilled mushrooms & onions paired with the kalbi gave it such a good Korean American fusion. In addition to the wings & burger, we eeny meeny moed between the 4 different variations of french fries & settled with the HONEYCOMB FRIES WITH PARMESAN & PARSLEY. you can never go wrong with eeny meeny moe because these fries were like Chick-Fil-A waffle fries super upgraded. They were crunchy but soft, packed with a cheesy bite & the subtle parsley balanced out the cheesiness so that it wasn't overpowering. Even though we intended to share, the portion was so big that we barely made a dent. The place itself is spacious & clean & the service was great even though we arrived so close to closing time on a Wednesday evening. These burgers are Hugh, Mungus. All jokes aside, these were one of the biggest I have ever seen. The bun was toasted well, plenty of vegetables and tasty cheese, as well as two tender meat patties. Now, I said two, since I was a bit peckish that day. However, considering the sheer size of the meat patties, I felt that one was just enough for me. Nothing really to consider bad, however. I just did not expect such patties to be so big. The fries, which were more like potato wedges, were crispy, fluffy on the inside, seasoned well, and were absolutely delicious. Pops' fries, which were sweet potato fries, were delightfully sweet and had the same texture as my fries. A small downside would be the onion rings. As our appetizer, they were pretty good to start off with before our main burgers. However, they happened to be a bit too crispy and they hurt the top of my mouth. The flavor was there though. The general atmosphere felt a bit off for its name. If you're gonna name your establishment Kpop Burger, then I would expect to have some sort of Korean culture (or at least Kpop music) in the restaurant. The decor felt like I was in American burger shack than to anything else. This is not much of a dealbreaker for Pops' and me, though. The staff was nice, and we received our food in a timely fashion. I've eaten here before and the food here is ok. Not a great value. I find it about average but it served a need which is that it is listed as being open until 10:30PM on Fridays. I had my friend visiting from out of town so we went there at 9:40PM and was told they are closed. I said that the hours were listed as 10:30PM and he said, "That's not our website." Kimchi tasted like they rinsed it before putting on the burger to prevent overpower. They left the sour part to the pickle wedges. On the flip, the sweet potato fries were good. Ambience was good. In all, the burgers are pretty much what you expect on an average home burger, meaning taste wasn't all that spectacular. I'm a big fan of Kpops burgers. I've had a few of them now. They are sloppy and good. No shortage of exotic combinations of flavors. This time I ordered the Seoul wings and bacon chili cheese fries. To be completely honest, the wings were not 4 star worthy.. I don't think I would order them again bc they tasted dry and the Seoul sauce tasted more like a regular buffalo sauce (waaaaaay off). The bacon chili cheese fries on the other hand.. I don't want to know how many calories I consumed, but dang those were good. Conclusion: burgers and fries are awesome here! finalyl made it to this establishment and was bit disappointed with my burger. I ordered the Miss A and as much as I like galbi, this wasn't my favorite. The amount of food they give you is awesome, but all the cheese they smothered with the meat and mushrooms was almost gross, and I like cheese but this was a bit much in my opinion. The flavors were ok, but I honestly felt like the cheese drowned out all the flavors from the somewhat fatty cut of galbi. So it wasn't the best burger I ever had. I got the 2AM. The hashbrown was very crispy(great), the egg was over well almost overcooked. The mixture of bbq sauce on the bottom and egg on top didn't seem to work real well for me. Maybe it is someone else's forte. The bacon was very dark, thick and crisp, to the point it was pretty close to overcooked. The wedges were ok but the burger filled me up. Overall it tasted decent I just think I got the wrong thing. I was honestly a little skeptical when I walked up and there were two young guys running the show...but they did a great job and my burger was cooked PERFECTLY. Let me say that other reviewers were right, this burger is HUGE!! Additionally, the toppings are big too. The burger I ordered came with bacon and the slices were thick cuts. A friend had lettuce and tomato on his and he had trouble taking a bite - and I am not exaggerating. Burger had great flavor, very fresh! Fries are wedge cut. Mine were borderline cold, which was a bit disappointing, but they were still good. So now my issues with this spot... $3.29 for a 32 oz fountain drink is ridiculous. Opt for the small drink at 22 oz and you are still looking at $2.29. Fries are similar, as an order of fries are like $3.50 (or more) for a standard order. Come on. I'll willing to pay for a good burger, but why jack up the price of fries and drinks? Giving 4 stars and look forward to trying the wings and other burger options. This place has intrigued me since it opened in my area. It took a few years, but I decided to give it a try. Menu seemed a bit overwhelming with all of the various combos of burgers. I'm of Korean descent so I decided to go with the Kimchi burger and a side of curly fries. The burger itself, 1/2 lb patty and piled with the fixings. Looked great. But after first bite, I found it to be lacking in flavor. The kimchi was over grilled and there was no crunch and none of the typical kimchi flavors could be discerned. The rest made for a rather lackluster experience. The second thing was the curly fries were a very very small serving considering the price of $3.50. All in all, for $15 burger and fries, it will not get a second visit from me. There are other Korean themed burger places around that offer better variety and a better price point. read more
