A must-visit while in Charlotte! The venue The place is pristine! It is conveniently located near downtown Charlotte. There was plenty of street parking around the area. The service The staff was kind and serviceable. We had to wait ~5 minutes to order, and then our order was immediately delivered. I was surprised by the venue's opening hours. Only a few coffee/donut shops are open late. The donuts The donuts, when fresh, are lovely! Soft but crunchy. After a few hours, they can get a bit chewy. Krispy Kreme donuts are super sugary! Even if glazed, they are still all coated with sugar.

I placed a mobile order and it wasn't there when I arrived to pick it up. The doughnut were one day only limited edition and the employee told me to tell the dasher they were out of the item. I placed my order that am and never received any notice that the item ran out. The cashier asked if I wanted to speak to a manager. The manager came out and said she had to do some more investigating. Then another manager came out and said it would be 10 minutes that they would make more. Overall the managers were friendly and fixed the issue but I literally came and hour later to make sure I gave them enough time to make the order. The initial cashier wasn't helpful and didn't even care about the issue. 40 minutes later I'm leaving with my order that should have been ready 1:40 earlier. This location is so convenient in Southend. Right off the rail trail and easy to walk/bike to. You can smell the donuts in the air from blocks away. World kindness day donuts

This review is overdue. I tried this location for the first time around 9 pm on Monday, 11-28-22. I had a hot glazed, red velvet cake, & a gingerbread cookie crumb doughnut. The inside wasn't too full. I was impressed by how clean it was. Had to wait a few minutes but nothing outside the norm.

I've always loved Krispy Kreme donuts and this is by far the nicest Krispy Kreme I've been to. They have a free dedicated parking lot which is a big deal for South End. On this visit we came for the limited edition strawberry glazed donuts. We got one Strawberry Glazed and one Strawberry Glazed Original Filled Strawberry Kreme. I really liked the strawberry glazed one. The strawberry filled one wasn't my favorite. It tasted too much like artificial strawberry for my liking. Of course while we were here we had to get a free donut for getting the Covid-19 vaccine. I love this promotion. We've used it twice so far and I'm sure we'll use it several more times before the end of the year. This location has a few things other don't. It has a donut vending machine outside. It also has donut milkshakes and donut ice cream sandwiches that I want to come back for. If you like Krispy Kreme, this one is worth checking out!

This is a clean well located Krispy Kreme. The service is fast and the selection of donuts is nice. They are also display well. When you first walk in you can even see them making the goodies fresh at hand. The original donut I got was fresh and delicious. I didn't get any of the drinks they offered but you can look at their extensive menu. There is parking, so seating out side and it's right off the rail trail/blue line path.

5/8/21 11:50pm So after a night in South End, husband and I decide to walk to get some donuts from the Krispy Kreme vending machine... the anticipation was so amazing for it to tell me Uh-Oh was heartbreaking. This has been a rave in south end I was hoping to have the experience to share it with Yelp but no. Maybe next time! I was shocked to see this machine out of order on a Saturday night!! So were the group of others that tried to order after us. Welp, I hopefully when I go back on a late night venture this will be the delight of the night! I highly recommend Krispy Kreme to fix that machine!!

Came out for their preview event prior to the grand opening on Tuesday August 25, and was not disappointed! This is their location attached to their Charlotte corporate office in south end, and the closest location to uptown. Next to the main entrance is their new doughnut vending machine. Currently there are 3 different 3 packs you can choose from, starting at $3.99 for 3 original glazed. Swipe your credit card (no cash) and voila!out pops perfection. Walking in, you're greeted with a fantastic view of the doughnut line. While most KK's have a window to let you see the frying and glazing part of production, this one also lets you see the doughnut extruder and proofing process. The layout of this location also allows you to see the spot where they fill the filled doughnuts. I usually stick to just doughnuts so this was the first time I tried a frozen caramel latte and a cookies and cream milkshake- both were delicious. Things to note: This location does not have a drive thru, so you fellow fanatics are going to have to get out of your cars for a melt in your mouth hot now. There's not too much indoor seating at this location, and covid restrictions right now have them blocking off every other table on top of that. There are a couple spots to sit out front though.

This is the sweetest Krispy Kreme location ever. Most Krispy Kreme' seem to be quite consistent in my opinion when it comes to their donuts and coffee but this one just has a more welcoming staff than I've ever been to. To be honest, we usually don't go to Krispy Kreme unless we get a coupon for a free donut/coffee or if I pass that red sign for fresh, hot glazed donuts at just the right time. This location pulled us in right from the start with its infamous donut vending machine out front and late night hours. Who doesn't love late-night sweets?! When we went in for National Coffee Day, we were met by the sweetest staff and kindest manager. This group is so kind and conversational. I feel like in most fast food exchanges you can barely get a response to "How are you doing today?". Here, we felt less like we were at a massive franchise and more like a local donut shop. Now there is even more of a reason to turn into the lot when we see that red sign out front!

Stopped by on the way to the airport, service was fast and interior was very retro and cute! They also had plenty of donuts to try, we tried the cotton candy, caramel popcorn, raspberry filled, and oreo and creme. The raspberry filled will always be my favorite, but the other flavors were fun to try although a tad too sweet. Oreo and creme and cotton candy were my next favorite, then caramel popcorn last since the popcorn on top was slightly stale. There is parking towards the back entrance and side streets and plenty of seating indoors. Honestly, can't beat a light and fluffy krispy kreme donut when you're in a pinch for something sweet! Hope to come back to try their seasonal donuts for the holidays such as Halloween, Christmas, etc!

    Delicious glaze!

I am a true lover of the Krispy Kreme donut, but was pleasantly disappointed when I walked in only to learn that although the fresh and warm donut sign was on, there were no fresh donuts. Apparently the headquarters keeps the sign on during certain times of the day, instead of when donuts are

Great spot if you looking for donuts in south end. Smack dab in the middle of all of the hustle and bustle. I ordered online and the staff had my order ready when I arrived. Friendly and welcoming. I went to try the limited time cinnamon rolls. I wasn't very impressed with them. The other items I ordered were good as usual. This is the location with the vending machine and I'm bummed out that I didn't remember when I went. Maybe next time. I would recommend if you are looking for your sugar fix.

This is my first time at this particular location. The store is trendy and has a good vibe. I hope the other locations start improving its premises. If you like Krispy Kreme, this is the place to enjoy good doughnuts.

If you're unfamiliar with the area, as I was, it's hard to find, but it's definitely a hidden gem. It's located within a beautiful brick shopping area, surrounded by other places to eat & shop, but it's in a cove area which leads to a courtyard. Again, hidden gem. It's so cute & cozy. There are 2 tables inside, and a few outside, which would be perfect on a nice day. The service is great, seems to a family run business. Everything looks soooooo delicious, it was very hard to decide. I narrowed it down to a small Lobster Tail pastry, which is essentially a deliciously stuffed croissant with Italian sweet cream (my guess) with a strawberry on top. It was the best pastry I've had in a long time. I also ordered the carrot cake, which is a favorite of mine, and it was good, not the best ever, but it's ok, the Lobster Tail made everything ok. Lastly, I had the Biscoff Latte. As you know, you'll see either a Biscoff or a Cookie Butter Latte everywhere you go these days. This was my third go at a variation & maybe my favorite. They have tons of yummy pastries and a great selection of cakes. I'll definitely be back.
