So, last week I had a craving for creme-filled doughnuts. I went to the nearest Krispy Kreme, and ordered two. Much to my disappointment, no creme in either doughnut! Not a speck. I called the store and explained what happened. The Manager on duty apologized profusely and put my name in a book to receive two free. I stopped by today to pick them up. The young lady who assisted me could not find my name, but gave me the doughnuts anyway. I noted to her I was skeptical these were cream filled because they look flat and there was no telltale cream on the doughnuts. Sure enough, one had no filling and the other had an amount the size of a fingernail. I will be going to the Polaris location in the future, as theirs are always filled properly and plump! After placing an order online more than 2 hours before pickup time, I arrived and had to wait for them to prepare my order. Several things happened: 1) As I waited for them to gather my items, I realized if they had it available I would like one more 4 pack of a limited time variety pack of assorted chocolate glazed minis that ended that day. I tried flagging someone down, but nobody noticed. When they brought my order in a bag, I asked if they still had the item available, at which time I was informed they only had plain chocolate glazed and cookies and cream variety left. I asked if the other varieties were in my order and they said no because they were out. Again, I asked if I only got those two in my 16 Ct and he confirmed. Would it have been asking too much for them to fill my order 2 hours earlier when it was placed and they may have had more varieties left? Would it have been too difficult for them to contact me to let me know they could not fulfill my order as placed at any point during the prior 2 hours, by app notification, text, or phone call? Would it have been asking to much that they let me know this when I arrived and asked if that was okay? In the end, when I arrived at destination, I had a box of 16 plain chocolate glazed. The box of 4 I had ordered for myself contained 3 plain CG and 1 cookies and cream. 2) I also used a promo code that allowed me to get a dozen OG for $5 with purchase of the 16 minis. I placed that item in cart as well as selecting the promo code. Everything looked right on my order summary. However, when I arrived at my destination over an hour away we realized they did not put the dozen OG in my bag. I should have noticed sooner, but did not because I was focused on the prior problem. 3) I had ordered some extra donuts for myself and a bottle of milk in case I wanted to snack on the road. The bag did not feel like it had a bottle of milk in it when handed to me. (It is heavier than donuts!). I asked guy at window if I got my milk, and without even checking, he said "yes." Because I wanted it in my cup holder I pulled into a parking space to get the milk from bag, but alas, it WAS NOT in the bag. I had to go back through drive through to retrieve the milk that I asked about less than 5 minutes earlier. A different person this time so I thought maybe I could express my dissatisfaction with my visit to him, but he also did not seem to care. I had just watched the first guy put my order in bag. If he did not recall putting a bottle of milk in the bag he should have double checked before answering. If that meant waiting while I checked bag, that would be fine, but to just dismiss my question without being sure is unacceptable. Had I gotten on the road before realizing that was missing, I would be even more upset. In a nutshell, I drive over 40 miles round trip to get donuts for my little great nieces and nephews that are over an hour away to take your donuts to them, and virtually nothing about the order was correct except 2 smaller boxes of 3 that I ordered for myself. This location definitely needs some work in customer service department! And exactly WHAT is the purpose of placing an order hours ahead if you don't fill it until I arrive, and therefore don't have my desired items available, and I STILL have to wait for my order, and it STILL is screwed up? SO MANY failures in one single order/visit. Multiple other businesses have contacted me if they were out of an item I ordered. I recall that happening at another local KK location even. It is very obvious that these people do not care about their customers' satisfaction. We are not talking about hot food here. They did not even have red sign on, so even if I wanted hot OG, I would not have gotten them. The assorted chocolate minis cannot be prepared while hot, as toppings would melt. There is no reason, other than the milk, that this order should not have been ready and waiting when I arrived, and if variety ordered was not available, I should have been asked what I would like, rather than just being stuck paying for whatever they gave me. I would NEVER pay the asking price for 16 plain chocolate glazed minis. The reason I was willing to pay the price was because of the extras that are added to 3 varieties. So ridiculously overpriced! For $36, I got 19 mini chocolate glazed, one mini chocolate glazed cookies and cream variety, 3 original glazed full size, 3 assorted full size, and one bottle of milk. read more

Their doughnuts are small so you can eat twice as many, right?? That was my train of thought. Krispy Kreme possess a certain genious. 1) make the doughnuts on site where you can see them being created, factory style. 2) keep it simple, just serve doughnuts and drinks. 3)don't charge too much, under $8 for a mixed dozen. 4) and the most genious of them all....glazing and chocolate frosting plus sprinkles!?!?! no one else does it and no one else can replicate it. It's magic in my mouth and it's cravable. This location is clean with friendly service. Try to score when they're hot, but their signature glaze keeps them fresh as the day goes on. Not sure who is in charge of hiring here but they need a new staff. I waited at the drive thru for awhile before I finally pulled around since no one was coming to help me. Then when I asked if the drive thru was open the girl was like "oh haha yeah hehe" and then pointed to some employees and was like "they're just over there talkin haha". END OF AN ERA Over the years you could go into a Krispy Kreme as I have many times and you would be able to get a hot Krispy Kreme donut coming right off the conveyor belt and it melted in your mouth. Not anymore, the accounting people have taken over. Visiting Columbus and drove 30 minutes to the Dublin store and there they were rolling nice and hot on the conveyor belt and my mouth was watering inches away from my mouth....but NO MORE , the new big business rule is you get only from the display case. I explained I would get these hot donuts fresh of the belt for 40 years but NEW RULE and customers don't matter anymore only revenue and thus ends a unique -special experience ...this is what happens when a company grows and numbers are more important than you......never going back again ...may as well get a donut at the gas station or Dunkin - no different. ....I would sell their stock...look up Krispy Kreme HOT DONUTS on Google and see how people loved them and all the signs advertising their HOT Donuts- read more

Decided on a coffee and didn't want to wait in the line @ Starbuck's so stopped in at Krispy Kreme...Hit the jackpot, the red sign was on = hot donuts!! Ordered a Large Coffee and 2 glazed to go, 4.19...If you have had a hot glazed donut from KK you know they are pretty great...definitely not healthy and I wouldn't recommend eating them often, but treat yourself to one of life' s simple pleasure and order a glazed or one of the many choices (maple cream sticks) that KK has to offer....Inside of the the donut shop is a bit retro like the old KK's, you can see the mountains of donuts filling up the counter and being made on the conveyer belts...If you have kids take them to KK when the red sign is lit and enjoy a walk down memory lane....You will enjoy the experience.. read more

went to this location 2 hours before they close and all the doughnuts were already cleaned up. they gave us these old glazed doughnuts that tasted like they were sitting out for hours, and they didn't have any glaze on them. not to mention the employees were talking loudly about how they got their hair in all the doughnuts. Weird situation. I'd understand if they gave us bad service if we came in ten minutes before close but it was two hours before close. we drove an hour for these doughnuts. read more

GARBAGE SERVICE. I went in the drive through today to get free donuts for Nation Doughnut Day. The first time I went, I went with my siblings and so I asked for 3 donuts. I told my grandma, and parents about this deal and they asked me to take them. Went to the drive through, and the girl REFUSED to give me the damn donuts. Said I couldnt come a second time. BEACH THEY WERENT FOR ME. I wasnt going to grab more but no entitled young white girls think they know it all. She told me I HAD TO PAY FOR THEM on Free donut day. Bye Felicia. Sometimes a restaurant employ is so bullheaded that customers just walk out. Today was one of those days. I wanted to order 2 hot glazed donuts , a dozen to take home and 2 peppermint mocha drinks. However the help refused to warm 2 donuts in the microwave. Said it was against store policy. Well, we thanked him and left without a purchase. We have been in countless kk's that warmed the donuts in the microwave for 8 seconds. Nothing like good ol American hospitality. I won't be back to this store. read more

I walked in to the store and each employee had a smile on their face and welcomed me in. Service was also very quick which makes it easy on me as I had to run errands earlier in the day. I will keep visiting this location, their doughnuts are the best! read more
