Krispy Kreme may be a classic, but their donuts lack the fluffiness and airiness that I've come to enjoy from a good donut. There's no springiness to the donut at all. No bite or backbone. As your teeth sink in, the donut turns into mush. The glaze to donut ratio is also severely imbalanced -- there seems to be twice the amount of glaze for a donut that's half the size of a normal donut. A donut here has the texture of a sugar cube. While it may satisfy your sweet tooth, I'd rather get that fix anywhere else (Safeway bakery included). read more

Came for the national chocolate day donuts on July 7th. I asked for a dozen of the chocolate glazed donuts. I walked out of the store and just double checked to make sure they were it was right and they gave me a dozen of the basic chocolate glazed donuts... I don't mean to seem harsh but it was national chocolate day and Krispy Kreme has been promoting the crap out of this special donut that you can only get ON THIS DAY. I assumed that the person knew what I meant when I wanted the limited chocolate glazed donut, they didn't bother to ask me which one since the basic and the special one had the same name I guess. So I walked back into the store, they gave me a look like they did something wrong. I told them that I actually meant the national chocolate day donut, not the basic chocolate one. They simply replied "oh sorry we don't have those" ... forreal like you could've told me that right from the start when I asked for a chocolate glazed donut. You should've known customers would WANT the limited chocolate glazed donut and should've asked which one, this whole situation could've been avoided. In the end. Oh Krispy Kreme, you have managed to completely disappoint me! The one thing that really bothers me is when Resturant's don't follow the rules and ask their customers to follow the rules that are put into play to keep us all safe! We're in the middle of a pandemic so what I saw when I was there a few days ago was definitely not fair to me as a guest and not ok for other guests as well! I actually walked in with my boyfriend to place an order and the guest in front of me was not wearing a mask. The person at the register didn't say anything to him about it and continued to let him proceed with his order. We confronted the cashier and she told us she didn't care. We looked on the outside of the door, sure enough there was a sign that said masks required. Well obviously not if we just saw people ordering with no mask. To make matters worse, we saw the same guy at target. He was asked to put on a mask in target and politely took a mask out of his pocket and put it on before he entered the store. This just showed us that if the cashier would have politely asked then a mask would have been worn. I will never go back to that particular location. The employees just don't care about my health or their own during this trying time. I did see myself, my boyfriend and a few others wearing masks, so why should that one guy be the exception to the rule and get everyone else sick. read more

They melt in your mouth. I like them with coffee black since they are super sweet. They are located in a great area which is still being developed. Pretty clean place but the staff was talking amongst each other and I had to raise my voice for them to just hear me. The boyfriend and I went to this specific Kispy Kreme location to pick up 2 dozen glazed donuts! YUM! Service was quick and friendly, and the donuts were hot and fresh! Location is pretty big with a good amount of seating, too. I'm not usually a fan of big chain donut shops, but Krispy Kreme consistently have good donuts, especially their originals. Can someone please explain what the "Hot Doughnuts" sign means? At every other location this means they are making hot donuts except for this one. Upgrading my last review for this store from a disappointing 1-star experience to a 4-star rating. The 4-star rating is due to the poor experience on my prior day visit. Not sure if the earlier comments remain posted, but following a disappointing visit to the store that left me without taking home our favorite donuts, returning the following day resulted in a great customer experience (and me taking home our favorite donuts). The staff was very apologetic after hearing about our disappointing visit the night before and offered me the same promotional deal. I was greeted when I walked in, the crew in here was 2 girls who were very sweet and patient with me as I choose their new selections of donuts for Valentine's Day! How neat! This is so thoughtful and cutesy. There were various choices when it comes to special holidays because it's all in my favorite colors!! Ahhh!! But nothing beats the glazed donuts- the originals which made them famous.
