They say too much doughnuts in one's diet can kill, well duh, we all know crack kills and since Krispy Kreme doughnuts have traces of crack embedded in their dough, what's everyone so surpised about?!! I one time ate 1 whole dozen glazed and 3 mixed doughnuts in one sitting,....absoooluutely theee most tasty dinner I have ever had. I feel bad for Kirspy Kreme. I remember when they first opened there used to be lines out the door all the time. Universally, when the "Hot doughnut" sign is on, they give you a free doughnut handout. It got so bad that they decided unless you purchase something, they aren't going to give you jack squat. Great place to get a doughnut for breakfast , snack, a treat or dessert. I came to get the Southern Classics: Lemon Creme Cake and the Peach Pie. The lemon Creme cake was better of the 2. I tried the Peach Pie - different donut with peach filling and pie crust on top and peach drizzle on top. The sweet glaze overpowered the donut overall. The lemon Creme cake is a yeast cake donut with tart pucker lemon Creme but the lightly glazed cake complemented the donut. My favorites are the cruellers, hot and fresh glaze doughnuts, and any jam filled glazed donuts. I thought this location is better than the one in Pacific Commons bcoz you could how they produce their donuts as their show stopper. read more

I remember when this placed open up and you had to wait in a line of cars for an hour (or wait inside in a line that was like a Disneyland ride line)...people just craved this stuff. I had my first Krispy Kreme here and it is okay. I can see the attraction to a fresh dozen of original glazed donuts. They are hot, goozy, and melt in your mouth. When I gave this place the time of day, there was one donut I like and it was not like any other donut on their menu. In fact, if you are extremely healthy but want to have a guilty pleasure, this donut I am about to mention is it: Chocolated-covered creme filled donut. First off, it has no glaze, thank god. Just a filled donut. Chocolate on top which is great, but it is the creme that makes it great. The Cream is the cream you get in cupcakes and twinkies. So in essence this is a chocolate donut-cupcake, and it is delicious. In fact because I like the cream cold, these donuts (to me) are best cold. So if you really want to indulge, and are a cupcake fan, check out the chocolate-covered creme filled donuts. They are to die for, but in all honestly, if you just want a donut regular donut shops will do (unless you seek a donut when donut shops are closed, this Krispy Kreme used to be 24 hour, but still has decent business hours). read more

Tell me why anytime I try to go to Krispy Kreme after 10pm it's closed when they advertise late hours. The original glazed doughnuts are always good. I also like the Boston Rene doughnuts as well. They sell iced coffee which I do not like the flavor of at all. The doughnuts are usually very soft and sweet. Service staff takes 10 minutes even with no one in the drive through. read more

Awesome place to go for really all your sugar rush cravings. This was my first time actually walking into the place. I was like a kid just watching the doughnuts get made on their conveyor belt. Very cool. But sadly the whole moment was ruined by the poorly kept cleanliness of the place and the very rude cashier. Who very much hated his job, you could just see the hate on his face. Great doughnuts but really poor service three stars for the food because the doughnuts tasted a little bit too old except for the original glazed that came fresh off the conveyor belt. Bought a sourcream, a chocolate glazed, a sugared and a maple glazed. Went home and tried the chocolate glazed one, and gulped down a glass of water to wash all that sweetness. Now one week later, I've finally mustered enough gut and downed enough water to finish all of them. My findings: the least sweet was the sourcream one, but even that was too sweet for this gal. The doughnuts are great here and the coffee is mediocre. The staff were polite to me and able to service me quickly. The prices are really nice as well I purchased 3 doughnuts for around 4.50. Doughnuts I tried: 1. The new Tiramisu doughnut 8/10 - A coffee creme filling with chocolate on top, powdered coffee flavored chocolate on top with a coffee bean shaped chocolate piece. 2. Chocolate cake doughnut 9/10 - Basically a devil's food cake doughnut, moist inside. 3. Maple Iced Glazed doughnut 8.5/10 - Regular doughnut with sweet maple flavored glaze on top. Now the reason I gave this location 4 stars. The men's bathroom hadn't been serviced. There was a smudge of poop on the seat and a piece of toilet paper that looked like it had been stepped on countless times. This is the reason I could tell no one went in to check the bathrooms for awhile. Sure they were busy and it could have happened right before I entered, but I doubt it. We ALWAYS come here because my son LOVES your donuts so it was no surprise when he asked me if we could stop and get a dozen on the way home. When we got there the drive thru line was LONG but as I mentioned my son LOVES Krispy Kreme so we decided to brave the long long line lol. There were even more cars lining up after our car! Finally get to the speaker to place our order, the lady says "I'm sorry just so you know we are only accepting CASH" ... now remember I said there was a LONG LINE .. long line ahead of us as well as BEHIND us .. no way to back out or get out of line ... so we had to sit there STUCK .. we waited about 25-35 min when I pull up to the window I just wanted to let them know that maybe going forward they can either place a SIGN that alerts the customers or have someone go outside to let people know as they get in line that they can only do CASH .. if In & Out can send people outside to take orders surely y'all can let your customers know so they won't get stuck in line .. the manager basically had the attitude like "what you want me to do about it ?" I said kindly "I just wanted to let you know" I mean never mind the huge inconvenience it was to me and my kids .. he didn't even offer my son a complimentary donut for the THIRTY MINUTE WAIT for nothing. The staff here is awesome, they always greet their customers with a smile and want to help you as quickly as they can. I ordered the original glazed and the chocolate iced w/ kreme filling. The original glazed donut was amazing and it definitely tasted fresh whereas the chocolate one was probably from the day before. The filling was extremely sweet (which was a given) but I wouldn't get that one next time around. I also got a small coffee which was just ok. They have a variety to chose from, I've been dying to try out the tiramisu one next! They have an amazing rewards program where you get a free coffee and donut on your birthday and many more specials for the app users. Overall, good customer service and good donuts! read more
