Delicious food especially their chicken Parm with spaghetti. Also their garlic bread is good too! And of course pizza is decent! :)

I have had the chance to eat here a few times. To be honest, I have had A LOT of pizza between NJ and NY. Krispy Pizza is nothing special, again that is my opinion. Plenty of options to choose from but it is quite expensive. Three slices and a bottled water cost me $15 one time. Whoa! I've ordered from here twice and did not find it as good as some other pizzerias in the area. I prefer Stella's for a regular NY style pizza and Rustique for margherita style pizza. Something about the dough and the sauce that just didn't do it for me. The dough I thought was under seasoned. Not that it's bad or good but just not what I'm used to eating. The point of comfort food for me is that it's supposed to be nostalgic and hard to get that when it's different than what you are used to. The both times I ordered they were on time with their delivery and for whatever it's worth it seems to be pretty popular in my building as I think I see more boxes from them in the recycling room than from anywhere else. They told me the thing to get here was the grandma square pizza, and I tried that and it was ok but he sauce was a little too sweet for me. read more

I used to love this place but they are progressively getting worse. The last order wasn't great and I actually found an egg shell in one of the hero's and today the food was terrible. I don't know what changed but it's def not good anymore. read more

Nowhere close to being authentic Brooklyn pizza. Closer to the tons of cheap corner pizza spots all over Manhattan. Got two slices. Both were mediocre at best. It was clear they'd been sitting under the display for hours. They looked stale from the onset. Should've walked away but was already there so just got 'em anyways. Definitely won't be returning. Our go to place in JC but only because there is a distinct lack of better options. Krispy can be real hit and miss. When it's good it's really good and yummy but when it's bad it's real bad - cold, soggy and worst of all not crispy. The location really lacks consistency of operation and delivery. I have no clue why the barstool guy thinks this place is only 7.3/10 it's def a 9/10 for me! The pizza is crispy and never disappoints! Get the bruschetta pizza and you won't regret it! This is an update, after trying Krispy a few weeks back decided this time to order Delivery...FYI, I've had horrible pizza delivery experiences in JC so I wasn't expecting much. Placed order thru seamless at 5:15PM and OMG pizza arrived hot at 5:35PM this was the fastest food order delivery I have ever experienced!!! The Margherita was perfect - nice thin crust, slightly sweet tomato sauce, good mozzarella and a sprinkle of fresh basil on top. Finally, I think I found my go to pizza delivery in JC! read more

Possibly THE best slice in Jersey City. Living in Journal Square definitely comes with the downside of viable food options. I purposely travel down here for a slice. It's literally the closest you can get to a Brooklyn Slice, in Jersey City. A simple plain slice test yields a passing score for flavor, consistency of dough, sauce to cheese ratio, and cook. They have a great online ordering system as well, order prior to arrival and your order will be waiting to be picked up. No waiting, no headache. read more

We've ordered delivery from here more times than I would like to admit. It can take a while on Friday's - but it's worth it. Stick with eggplant parm or chicken parm meals. My first visit............The margherita slice is excellent. Great flavor and a nice, Krispy crust. I have been to the Original Krispy that is located in Dyker Heights Brooklyn, so I was happy, but a little skeptical, about this Krispy. Was it going to be as good Brooklyn? When places start turning into chain type eateries they do not always end up as good as the original.I thought the pizza was great! The pizzeria is a little off the beaten path for me. Its in the Downtown JC area near the Goldman Office building and close to the light rail. Indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely a great slice if you are in the area! read more

The pizza lives up to it's name, the crust is crispy! Good pizza and decent chicken marsala (took entirely too long to make and came out long after my husband was done eating his pizza). Next time will either get pizza or something much quicker. Would be nice if they timed the food to come out around the same time. I order here all the time for delivery. Go to jersey city regularly for business and stay at the Hyatt house. Ive ordered from Krispy in the past and they would park their car in front and bring me my food to my door. I ordered yesterday and the lazy delivery driver wouldn't bring it up because he said he'd have to pay for parking which is total BS. I asked the front desk and they said that they often allow drivers to deliver. In fact the desk has to allow them into the elevator with a pass key. So I called them and tried to explain the situation to them and all they did was give excuses and say that the delivery driver has worked from him for a long time. Well, if you stand behind laziness it says a lot about you. I mean why did I tip the guy almost 8 bucks to drop my food off at a desk to get cold and force me to get dressed to go pick it up. Happened to pass by a new pizza spot in Jersey City. While the area is relatively saturated with pizza places, this one I think has potential to have staying power. Originating in Brooklyn with a number of locations already, the formula is tried and proven. A nice crunchy crust, a tangy sauce, and some stretchy mutz. I've only tried a small square of Grandma's thin slice as a promo, but it was delicious. Met a guy named Lou there... presumably the owner. With all of the dichotomous reviews for this place, I figured I'd give it a shot being a lover of pizza and all. In fact, some of the negative reviews were so ridiculous, I thought I couldn't lose. Wrong I was. I called to place an order only to be told that my apartment is outside of their delivery zone (south of Hamilton Park, still Downtown). The guy on the phone said, "Our delivery area is really a half mile radius from the store." Ok. Fair enough. Welp, good luck with all of your Hudson River and Morris Canal deliveries, guys. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY and recently moved into Liberty towers right in jersey city (sept 22nd the same day that krispy pizza opened!!) I was excited to try it! I've never actually walked into the place, but my bf has. He says everyone is always so nice and makes you feel at home. My boyfriend and I have ordered pizza pies, garlic knots, chicken rolls and recently we got a half tray of chicken parm. Everything is always so good. It really brings me back to the days in Brooklyn (gravesend/Bensonhurst area), when we would go get pizza every Friday after school. It's not gourmet, nothing fancy but a good ol' cheese pizza.
