2-DAY OLD DONUTS and other food. Bought a cinnammon roll and I asked if it was fresh. The lady appeared annoyed because I asked and told me certain things are not fresh from the same day. I asked what was fresh and she told me some of the donuts only. Coffee here SUCKS too. Lady serves weak coffee and reuses coffee grounds (I've seen her do it). Place is in convenient location. Sadly, she doesn't take advantage in giving GREAT service and FRESH doghnuts. She always says "God Bless you" after you pay for whatever you buy - Wow! WTF. I won't be back. read more

I agree with Epi, the cinnamon roll was old. I specifically asked if it was fresh and got the head movement that indicates yes. I went outside to eat. It was very very stale. I went back inside and said, "you lied. this is not fresh" He (standing in I guess for the lady that is always there) shrugged. The coffee is always very weak. I can handle that only because Starbucks is too strong and this is the only convenient place to take a break. Two stars because the women is very nice and likable, but the offerings are only 1 star. So here I am on Yelp trying to find a better place to take a break. read more

First time there, bad service! Ordered a ham and cheese croissant, which all had jalapeño on them in the display. Got mine= no jalapeño. Went back and asked and was told "you didn't ask for that". They were right there in the case behind the ham and cheese croissant sign with jalapenos! She wanted to charge me for the correct one. No! read more

Sign on the door said be back in 30 minutes, waited 30 minutes no one showed up. Came back half an hour later and still no one in the shop. Called the shop and a woman answered saying she was at home and she could come to open the shop. If she was leaving the shop then she should have put the closed sign up. I had a bit of trouble finding the place since I'm new to Tustin and this shop does not face a road. It is nestled within a plaza. Compared to DK's down the street, this place is set up like its arch nemesis. So many things are the same, yet, different. Its like you took that shop, put it in a box, shook it, took it our again, and got this place. The donuts are slightly denser than the very fluffly DK ones. Theyre smaller but neater. The coffee is the same and even comes in the same cups and the same lids. I find the owner here nicer though. DK's is a little grumpier. read more

Hi Ben Here, I gave K's Donuts 5 stars because of her very friendly approach to people. Here is my complaint and why I will not go back, for five months I have been coming here rather than Starbucks across the parking lot for the morning coffee I get in and out. The problem is after five months I still have to ask her to leave room in the cup for Milk, and she constantly pushes the cream towards me. I specifically ask for milk please, I enjoy the taste of milk in my coffee it is my one guilty happy pleasure. Every day I go she fills the cup to the top, I ask her to please put some back so I can add milk and I get the cream and I have to insist on milk. Today was the last straw, I got a full cup of coffee she handed it to me I went outside and emptied out half of cup of coffee came back in and asked politely for MILK, she asked me why I I threw out so much coffee when she would have put some back, I avoided looking at her because at this point I was totally angry. I quietly said it's ok, and poured the milk into the coffee, gave her back her milk jug, put the lid on my coffee, left no tip this time and not as much as my usual thank you ma'am. Lady's and gentlemen this may sound rude or impolite on my part and you may have a point which I respect. BUT after 5 MONTHS of getting the same cup of coffee and playing the back and forth game of take some out so I can put in Milk and having cream pushed towards me rather than milk gets daunting and tiresome. I am a business owner and it is very important to learn your clients habits, needs and wants in order to provide them the very best in customer service, I do not leave room for my clients to get agitated with me because I constantly make sure to pay very close attention to how they interact with me and to what they say when addressing me. This is just a case of not appreciating a long standing client, and taking to much for granted even if it is simply my just buying a morning cup of coffee. Thank you for reading my post have a very nice day, and folks remember you are the client you do not have to settle for second best. You all work hard for your money and when you spend it at a store, repair shop, or whatever you have every right to expect to be treated in the best manner possible,.It is after all your money, and you are giving that business your money out of your own free will. To me, a donut shop is a donut shop is a donut shop. This place sets itself apart by making delicious croissant sandwiches. Sadly this place is a bit to far from me now to venture to now.. but if your in the area and want a great sandwhich on the cheap this is a great spot. You can get a sandwhich and drink for like $3.50 or something. The women behind the counter are all very friendly, and take their time delicately piecing together what could be one of my fav croissant sandwhiches in the area. read more

This is my ideal donut shop around the corner. When I'm in the mood for donuts and coffee K's donuts is the ONLY place that comes to mind. I can't honestly tell you when the first time I walked into this shop was but I can tell you that from the moment I walked in I never stopped going back. Every time I walk in the owner is always so happy to see me. She's gotten familiar with me and my usual order which is a small coffee and a bag of donut holes (along with an occasional donut with sprinkles). I completely love her work ethic! I've noticed over time that when she is in a bit of a rush she multitasks to help get people in and out (I'm sure she knows we all have somewhere to be in the morning). The donut holes are always amazing. Never are they too over glazed or too thick. They only take cash but if you don't have any at the time there is an ATM available for you inside the shop. I've been to Ks donuts numerous times over the past years and have never had a bad experience. This place deserves 5 stars anything less would be unacceptable. read more

Donuts are the same to me - I like them or I love them - if they have some cream filling that is. Kind of like ice-cream, I feel bad after having either of them, so I just block them out, before and after I have them and just deny I bought any. So I don't remember ever buying donuts here, but I remember the owner lady's great service and that she always leaves you with a "Have a lucky Friday" or "God bless". I might go and get a dozen donuts for the office one of these days and then deny it. read more

I don't know about everyone else's experience here, but mine was great. A bacon doughnut?! Bacon was perfectly cooked, thick andcrispy and covered the surface of the doughnut. got the last one! I won't be going back. The one bear claw I purchased was dry and not very flavorful. I think it was a little expensive too @ $1.85. It definitely was NOT fresh. When the person behind the counter sold it to me they asked me if I wanted it heated up (that was a little odd to me), but now I understand why, because it was probably truly "old", hard and they knew that..
