Started with a 40 minute wait, which is expected at this time of night. However, when called in for our turn, after waiting the 40 minutes, we were asked to take a seat and someone would get us after. After another 30 minute wait and seeing many other families seated that were there after us, we went up and checked on our status. We were told they had overlooked us. The person at the front apologized and the manager(?) seemed to be irritated at that. Food was literally cold. They had just taken some of the corn on the cob off of the grill, so I grabbed one. Got to my table and it was literally out of the fridge temp. Dumplings were good. Missed on flavor, but was OK. All of the meats that were in sauces tasted like they were made days ago and reheated. The best meat were the short ribs. They were grilled great, hot, and seasoned really nice. The teriyaki chicken was extremely dry and, as most everything else, missed on flavor. Service was horrible. I had to get up two times for refills and that was after the servers had passed our tables, removed dirty plates, and so on. Had to ask 3 different servers for a straw for my daughter. The atmosphere was nice, but seemed to be extremely tight with seating. The chairs were comfortable, but oversized for a close seating restaurant. For the price, I would expect much better food and customer service. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to eat. Would rather get Panda Express for the quality. read more

Probably the best buffet I have ever been to. Everything was so fresh and they kept it all full and it was extremely busy. Fantastic selection of seafood, crab legs hot or cold, shrimp several ways and for 8.99 you can have a lobster tail steamed or broiled. Also plenty of Chinese food and desserts. I can't say enough about this awesome buffet. Definitely a little pricier than most but so worth it. Give it a try. You'll be glad you did. I've been to quite a few Chinese buffets in my lifetime, but never have been to one as awesome as this place!! Huge variety and great selections. Pho is made right on the spot and rolls are made to order. Even seafood selections are unbelievable! And all this was just at lunch, can't wait to go back and try their menu! read more

Although the parking is not great, I enjoyed this this place. They had a ton of variety from your typical Chinese buffet items, seafood, ramen, sushi and even dim sum. I went for lunch which was $20 per person and I believe it was worth it with the variety of foods offered. Our server was super nice and attentive and all of the trays were full of fresh food or being replaced with fresh food. I didn't get to order a roll but you can actually order off of a sushi roll menu included with your buffet. I will definitely be coming back here. read more

A friend and I went here today (Saturday). We saw the price and almost left, but decided to have a look around. What a selection! The food was all fresh and nicely presented. I knew I wasn't going to get to try all that I wanted. The sushi was excellent. I didn't try any of the rolls but opted for several Nigri selections as well as some sashimi. It was all really good. The seafood almost melted in my mouth. The raw oysters were fresh and delicious as was the shrimp. My friend talked me into trying the steak. Very good! Cooked to order. I tried a couple of seafood salads and the Hot and Sour soup. I tried a few other dishes but was getting too full for any more. I want to try lunch during the week which is a little more in my price range but didn't regret spending what I did for the weekend selections. Attentive service and the manager even stopped by to chat for a bit. I think that some of the negative reviews probably come from them just opening recently and working out problem areas. There is so much to choose from and it is delicious. I have been there twice know and I really enjoy the experience. I agree with the prices as well. For how much you get I call it a deal! There is also a dessert bar and a place for you to scoop your own ice cream! I recommend coming here if you have a spare night to have a fun family outing. read more

When you walk in, it's clean and workers are smiling. The food area is Hot and fresh food, variety of foods from sushi, salads, chicken wings, Chinese and it's bright. When we first entered, we saw a group of six people leaving after being in line and we wondered why? We found out as when it became our turn, we were met with a rude person at the front desk. We asked for a table several times and they kept trying to pressure us into getting a booth. We told them that we could wait at the waiting area in front of the front desk until a table was ready and then they asked for our phone number. I refused and they kept pressuring again and I told them we were sitting right in front of the desk at the waiting area, so there was no reason to give them our number. After we told them that, a waitress came over and said that there was a table open. We went back and there were several tables open and unused. Why would you want to force people into a booth if there were open tables or pressure customers for their number if they were not going anywhere at that time? We saw the food and immediately we were disappointed in the quality. The food at some areas was old because they left one shrimp or a few mussels in the steam tray and would not refill it with fresh food from the kitchen. The choices shrank when you were to the noodle station as they only offered pork belly or egg, but even then the ingredients did not look fresh at all. We paid $28.99 per person, even though we told them that we were seniors at the front desk. We asked our waitress about it and they told us that we had to go back to the front counter to take care of it. We like many other people were really looking forward to try this new restaurant opening up in place of China Harbor, but honestly it was a mistake spending our money here. We paid almost twice the price for subpar food and choices compared to China Harbor that used to be there. Since this is San Antonio, we could have easily went to other Chinese or all you can eat places, but we wanted to give the new place a try. Never again will we waste our time or money at this establishment. To all those who are curious about trying this place out: DON'T. Bad service, subpar food, very expensive, and you are treated lower than dirt by desk staff. read more
