The fried tacos are served in double corn tortilla and are large and amply filled with your choice of meat. They only cost $4.50. The enchiladas a similar. The sauce is delicious, but mild so you might want to request more spice. ... The location is directly across from the DMV in Los Gatos. I've been here before and had a great experience, however my most recent time was not as great. The prices seem to have gone up and I was served the wrong drink. However, it is still a good restaurant that I would recommend trying. Food: I love their tacos especially the Al Pastor and lengua tacos. I've also had their quesadilla before too which was delicious! I most recently tried their birria tacos with the consome, which was good, but it did fall apart pretty easily and was a bit messier than I would've liked. However, the flavor was still amazing. Service: The service here could use some work. I ordered a horchata and got a cucumber lime drink instead, which was still pretty good, but was t what I asked for. However, I do like that they give complimentary chips and salsa if you eat in the restaurant. Ambiance: the inside is pretty basic with not too much to say about it. Overall, I recommend trying this place. From what I've eaten, they've got very good food with a variety of Mexican dishes. This small taqueria has some inside and outside dining. It was a nice surprise that they offered table service vs ordering at the counter. Our waitress was so helpful, as she offered menu suggestions, told me which meals were too spicy for me and then offered a dish created just for me ! Wow, gotta love that. The meal was tasty and nicely presented. My Chicken Ranchera was delicious and I had to stop myself from eating all of it, as it was a large portion. Once again I was surprised by the servers as they came to check on us and ask if we needed anything. This little place offered more service than some of the nicer restaurants in the area. We thought we'd try again and grab a quick burrito and tacos on our walk home. The grilled chicken in then was fairly gray and tasteless. Even the shredded chicken wasn't tasty. All of the ingredients just seem like the bare minimum of what it takes to make these staple dishes. And the chips are dry and taste burned. We still wish this was a go to we could frequent, now we're feeling like it's just not worth another try. Great small spot for delicious Mexican food. We came across this place while walking and were very pleased to have dinner here. Dulse, our waitress was a very polite lady and help us a lot choosing what to eat. We had beef burritos with sour cream and guacamole and it can say that I can put their burrito to my top three list. Yum! Popped in here today to grab lunch for myself and one of my bosses. Located right across the street from the LG DMV which is "normal" times would be an excellent location. Thankfully for me, it's also just a short walk from my office. I called in my order and by the time I walked over, it was being bagged up and ready for me to take back to work. Love that they have patio seating always, even in bad weather because it's got a great overhang to keep you warm and dry but they also have limited indoor seating if you so choose. Love the festive colorful décor and friendly staff who greeted me with smiling eyes as I entered. I ordered the fish Taco's al carte and I wasn't disappointed one bit. Super fresh and moist with a mango salsa and I squeezed some fresh lime over top. Delicious! My boss had the shrimp burrito and I haven't heard any complaints yet. I've been here with the prior owners and enjoyed it. I enjoy it even more now. The new owners have settled into their stride, and the food is delicious. I love how the refried beans are served in a small jar. Portions are perfect...you don't walk out feeling like you've eaten too much. The chevalas were delicious and well balanced. I'm assuming the menu changes based on what they can get because one time, we had tacos al pastor, and the next time they weren't there. Chairs were comfortable. If you have a large group, let them know so they can put tables together. There's a bar seating type area as well. Parking is on the street for the most part. Friendly service and they still allow our dog with outside seating. Under new management leaves the following: 1 - Warm Corona, we had to ask for ice to chill the drink. One beer will set you back $5. 2 - the $9 chicken taco platter, grisly chicken, less than 2 finger size portion of minced dry chicken; a small portion. It would be the equivalent of ordering a $2 street taco off a food truck. We ended up giving it to our dog. We will find a food truck next time we crave a good taco. Guac and other condiments are extra. 3 - 2 chicken enchiladas (suizas) with basic rice and beans in a cup setting you back at $15. At least the chips and salsa are still free. The old management had the prices down and the portions up. If you want bang for your buck, this isn't the place any longer. We've been loyal patrons to this establishment for over a year and I hate giving a poor review but this last experience has us exploring other options towards the San Jose area. read more

I went there several times after I wrote my first review and I think it's about time for me to write an update ;) Many things improved since my first visit: More cocktails, draft beers, new dishes...etc The pozole is still as amazing as before but make sure you try the new items on the menu: - The "cheese dip" which is very different from the traditional dip you are used to (beans, meat, cheese, tomatoes...) served on a sizzling plate...give that slight delicate burn taste to this amazing mix! - Salsa fries: a must try. goes perfectly with a beer! you'll fine salsa, guacamole, meat and cheese on the top of warm thick fries. - Milanese chicken. OK that's supposed to be Italian but its prepared with a Mexican twist in that case. Check my photos and you'll get it ;) Rose the owner is always smiley, helpful and super friendly.
