Perfectly sweet and golden mango coated in chamoy and tajin. My current favorite treat for a hot day. It was a one-man operation when I visited so the wait was about 10 min for 3 items. Having a sip of it, I could see why; they don't use ceremonial-grade matcha and the drink left a thick coating inside my mouth (I was overhydrated that day fyi). The strawberry puree wasn't watered down by the milk but the strawberry tones tasted heavily artificial even with the chopped strawberries. The cup thankfully wasn't too small, and I could still finish my drink though I wasn't satisfied with the quality. It looks like they're more well-known - and well-reviewed - for their mango-based offerings and bingsu in general, so I'm taking this as a one-off visit and would still try to come back for their other stuff.

I went here with my mom on a Sunday afternoon while shopping in Southcenter and decided to get some of their drinks to go with our tater tots we got from nearby Undercover Fries (which I'm not sure if they have a Yelp page). Ambience is very casual, with plenty of seating. Nothing to say of service since I only ordered at the kiosk closest to the entrance. I got their passion fruit & lemon green tea, and my mom got their peach green tea, both at 70% sweetness and ice levels. We both ended up tossing our drinks after having about half of it for similar reasons, the biggest one being that the drinks didn't taste at all fresh. They were also watered down to the point where we weren't sure if we got 70% sugar as I saw on the kiosk or 25% sugar. I've been here several times before and have tried their bubble waffles and other milk tea drinks, so this review on its own isn't an accurate representation of my experiences overall. But for this one visit, I wanted to get the mango desserts from Hui Lau Shan again at Southcenter... those who know what this place used to be will know what I mean.
