The interior is visually congested, not in a bad way but with lots of decor, seating, movement areas and etc. It makes a feeling of the space being busy and distracting. I prefer calmer spaces but it's not terrible. Service was prompt, frequent and wonderful. An older woman came by and asked how we wanted salsa and made us a bowl which was INCREDIBLE! So savory, spicy, fresh and left me wanting more. (You get a certain amount salsa and chips per person than you gotta pay). It was literally perfect. We weren't super hungry and wanted to share, to us the serving was more than enough for two. We enjoyed a house rocks margarita, grilled steak fajitas with rice and beans, sides of sour cream and guacamole and also some chips and salsa. It was all very well made, came out steaming and was very satisfying. The space felt cold to me, but seemed fine to all else. So just a note there if you run on the warmer side. I don't know if they do reservations, but I would imagine on some nights it would be a good idea seeing as they seem very busy.

It feels like a Mexican dinner or at least what I imagined a dinner in Mexico would look like. The staff where beyond amazing, especially the woman who made our complementary salsa right at the table. And the salsa was yummy but sadly that's the only part of the meal that I can say that about. The thing is, nothing was truly bad, but just about everything was incredibly bland. You'd have expected someone who puts raisins in potato salad to have served it, not an authentic Mexican restaurant. Though the positive is the lack of seasoning is really the only major problem. The food did not have any weird taste, it wasn't dry, the presentation was fine. It simply needs to be seasoned and this place goes to a solid 4/5 rather than a three.

We stopped in after hiking in Saguaro and we were seated immediately. Service was good throughout the meal and they were attentive. Chips and salsa and the guacamole was very tasty and flavorful and we tried a variety of tacos and gorditas, all of which were delicious. We also got 2 margarita flights and one was definitely enough between 2 people as they are full margaritas; they were very tasty and had unique flavors, so it's definitely a good idea to try some when you come here. It is a bare bones salsa but tastes nothing like ketchup. We got the chimichanga app. Very tasty. We shared some chicken tortilla soup and an air dried beef platter. The beef was interesting. It's the only place in the US that is allowed to do this. Very busy place! But they take great care of their customers.

The server even went the extra mile by including small containers of our favorite hot sauce, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, once we got home, we noticed the Camarón Culichi wasn't quite up to the standard we've come to expect from Mariscos Chihuahua. The Culichi sauce was much thinner than usual, and the quality and portion of the shrimp seemed to have changed. There were only a few shrimp in the dish, and they were noticeably smaller than what we've received during previous visits. The shrimp ceviche was still enjoyable, although the flavor also seemed a little different than usual. Overall, it was still a delicious meal, and we'll definitely be back because we've always had great experiences here. We just hope this was an isolated experience and not a sign that the restaurant's quality is changing.

Finished up sharing a cinnamon roll pancake, and that was amazing. Despite how busy they are, staff are always attentive and amicable.

It's colorful, and welcoming. The service was quick and friendly. Of course the chips and homemade salsa were on the table as we sat down. Our waitress was happy to take our order and she was able to make helpful suggestions about the menu. I had the Burro Deluxe and I was overwhelmed by the size of it. The burro was covered in cheese sauce and it was literally bigger than my shoes! The photo doesn't do it justice. I managed to eat 1/3 of it and the waitstaff graciously provided to go boxes to allow me to eat it for the rest of the week!!! It was great fun looking at the celebrity photos and watching all the massive food plates being delivered. Truly a great experience and glad I returned to Mi Nidito! I will be back soon.

Both burritos had a strip of cold, unmelted cheese running through them, and the tortillas were undercooked. The shrimp was overcooked. When we asked if the cheese could be melted, the waiter checked with the kitchen and returned to tell us that the kitchen said they do not melt the cheese. The bartender was attentive and aware of our needs, but unfortunately, the rest of the male staff were not. Overall, the food and service were both disappointing.
