Vegan Sarda Pizza
Sonia N.

This is a true family style business and it's obvious that there are a lot of regulars. We came because there is a good selection of vegan options, including vegan cheese for the pizzas. The garlic bread and pizza came out fresh from the oven, and they were delicious. Not my favorite vegan cheese, but we really appreciate the availability. Unfortunately, I got the eggplant parm (vegetarian) which was simply awful. The eggplant was tough and tasteless and the terrible taste couldn't be covered up by the cheese and sauce. I left most of it on my plate. I had asked about it when ordering, and the waiter said he thought it was great, so I was really disappointed. Love the environment here but probably won't be back.

Authentic italian restaurant in Campbell downtown. Tried their vegetarian pizza with eggplant & tomato on the top. Bruschetta was topped with burrata cheese. One of the best service & servers. Cozy ambiance outside & inside both

Didn't think I ever shared a review for here because I had only ever gotten pizza and a drink to go during the shelter in place, but turns out I did! Consistent with my last visit, the service and hospitality were wonderful, and even more prevalent since I was dining in this time. It didn't seem like we had a consistent server throughout our meal, but everyone that helped us was very nice. To eat, my mom got the Pizza con patate and my boyfriend and I got the spaghetti carbonara and prosciutto arugula pizza to share. This spot is pretty traditional, so you will need to ask for your pizza to be cut if you don't want to have to do it yourself. We all really enjoyed our pizzas. They have quite a large selection, so while I would absolutely order the same one again, I'll probably try a new one next time to enjoy the variety. The pasta was also good, but the pizza stole the show for both myself and my boyfriend. To drink my mom got a cocktail and we went with wine. I ordered a glass of one, but was recommend another and then offered samples of both to try, loved that they did this! My boyfriend also tried two different wines, one based on recommendation and another blindly, we both with went the recommended wines. Overall a solid spot for pizza and Italian wine in downtown Campbell!

I came here with a group last night! The staff was extremely friendly, and our food came out quickly. Unfortunately, the food was overwhelmingly average. Three of the guys we were with had pizza and they all thought it was just ok. I had the buttata salad which was just a burrata ball plopped on a plate with jarred artichoke hearts, unripe tomatoes, pita bread (not even focaccia) and cooked spinach. The other two people had pasta and while it looked good, they also said it was just alright.

Vegetariana (minus tomatoes & zucchini).

First the food. The pizza at La Pizzeria is the best in the area, hands down. Also, one pizza can easily feed two, especially if you get an appetizer or two. What cinches La Pizzeria as my favorite restaurant in the area though is that they are the only restaurant that I can think of that offers a vegan menu. Tonight we celebrated my daughter's birthday and both of my kids tried the vegan pizzas, and they loved them. One got the Margherita vegan pizza and the other ordered the Boscaiola. (Be careful as some of the pizzas like the Boscaiola don't have the red tomato sauce, if that is important to you so be sure to read the menu carefully.) I ordered the Vegetariana, minus the zucchini and tomatoes. It was so delicious. We also got the Garlic bread as an appetizer. It is very garlicky ;-) My kids also devoured it. We were surprised to learn from the waiter that they offer a vegan option for dessert as well, Molten Banana Cake which is vegan AND gluten free (it's not reflected on the online menu for some reason.) We can't wait to try that next time (we had my daughter's birthday cake waiting for us at home, otherwise we would have!) Other reasons that La Pizzeria is now my favorite restaurant in the Campbell area, the waiters are always super friendly, even when they are busy. Ambiance: unlike other restaurants in downtown Campbell, it is not only tastefully decorated, it's got a comfortable vibe, with some booths too. You don't have a bunch of small tables crammed together with uncomfortable chairs. There is also a nice outdoor patio as well.

Panini

Went for lunch. I ordered the panini with prosciutto, mozzarella, arugula, tomato. It could have used salt and olive oil and actually melting the mots. Place was clean. Too bad my plate and knife were not. The pizza was ok.

Penne Salsiccia (add prawns, creamy, and spicy) they call it "con amore" I believe

I love it. I always come for the spicy penne pasta with sausage, prawns, and cream. Favorite pasta in the South Bay by far. The pizza also tastes fresh and light. Service is always great and I love sitting in the cute outdoor area.

Profiteroles and affogato in the background. Outstanding. Do not underestimate.
Ran D.

We stopped in after dinner somewhere else to order affogato and we were pleasantly surprised! The affogato was delicious and we could not help but take dessert to the next level by ordering profiteroles, which were dynamite. The staff was extremely personable and we got the feeling that we should have had dinner at La Pizzaria instead. Next time we will do just that. For this review, we only can attest to the dessert and it was absolutely outstanding.

There are many styles of seating in this restaurant. This one is Booth style.
Michelle Y.

I have been here twice and was happy with the food and service both times. The food portions are perfect. Both times we did family style and we were able to finish everything without bringing left over food home. The server is very attentive. What I like most about this restaurant is that the atmosphere isn't loud so we can actually hear each other converse. They also have a point reward system tied into your phone number. Everyone in our group was happy with this restaurant. We especially enjoyed the thin crust pizza and carbonara. This restaurant can accommodate guests in wheelchairs as well.

Gluten free pizza
Lindsey C.

I'm thankful that this place offers gluten free options, but I will admit I was not expecting what I received. The gluten free dough substitutions are $5-6 each, and I previously saw a review stating this was the best GF pizza ever, so I assumed (my fault) that it would be house made dough. When I saw the focaccia had a gluten free option, I was so excited since you never see that. When my order was served, I realized the focaccia was just the gluten free pizza crust with some spices, so I spent $11 extra for gluten free options on two items to get two pizzas! I was a bit disappointed since this dough tastes the same as all the crusts from other restaurants that source their GF dough, so it was underwhelming. I will say however, that I appreciated how knowledgeable my server was on GF options. Other than that, the service was so amazing and the drinks were delicious. My friend loved her non GF pasta and we definitely would be back! The patio is dog friendly and the staff were very welcoming and personable. I'd come back but maybe try a GF pasta dish next time. Is your gluten-free pizza crust vegan?

Unfortunately not. There is eggs in it.

Do they have gluten free pizza crust or pasta?

Yes. Both pizza and pasta are available gluten free.

Is there a kids menu?

No. But we have Kids sized Pastas. And we are always open to accommodate special requests.

What is your vegan crust made of?

All of our doughs are vegan. Ingredients are: flour, salt, water, oil, yeast, and sugar.

What is vegan cheese made of? Nuts?

We use Dayia mozzarella. Dayia website says: “Filtered water, tapioca flour, expeller pressed non-GMO canola and/or safflower oil, coconut oil, pea protein, salt, vegan…

Does the pizza taste the same as it did with the old owners? We left Campbell early 2017. We're going to be in the area for 2 days & wonder if it will be worth going there since there are so many places we miss?

Yes! I can definitely attest to the pizza tasting the same; my uncle is friends with Pino (the old owner) and even he can agree that the pizza is on the same par as before.

Do they have any gluten free options?

Yes. Both pizzas and pastas.

How's the happy hour here?

Hi there! They have the same food menu but drinks are 30% Off. Pino doesn't own it anymore, but the new owners started a Happy Hour discount on drinks. :) Favorite appetizer to pair with in my opinion are the fried zucchini flowers! SO GOOD!

The restaurant has interesting decor and is not like most establishments of this nature as it is informal and is not in " the fine linen and white tablecloth " type of vein. No, the restaurant itself ( in a casual, rustic sort of way ) is very cozy and warm. inviting in a semi-formal way where you can relax to enjoy a fine meal and that is exactly what my family had. Our waiter was an affable fellow named Armando who is one of those servers that, as any good waiter does, is truly attentive to your whims and instinctively anticipates what you may want and he was perfect at his job. He served us water and a very food delicious basket of freshly baked bread ( which inadvertently set the tone for the meal to come because it was beyond excellent ) and named off the house specials, which were all mouth-watering at hearing them but it was the rib eye steak that caught my attention and that is what I ordered and also a ginger beer as well ( Fever Tree no doubt about it ). My family also ordered their food and then we waited for what what it seemed was an eternity for our meal to come. After about 40 minutes our meals came and they did not disappoint, from presentation to the flavor, taste and consistency of it all. I honestly don't remember eating my meal because it was done in 5 minutes... yes. it was that good and beyond delicious! I remember the steak was tender, juicy, grilled perfectly, the gravy was hearty and robust. the vegetables were cooked right ( fresh and tangy ) and the mashed potatoes were oh so fluffy and creamy. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal to the fullest and I left no food on my plate. This was a meal that was pretty epic for what it was and I was throughly satisfied. I ordered a tiramisu for dessert to take home and I'm sure it will be as good as the meal I had at the restaurant. Trattoria 360 is a fine establishment that has earned its flowers and you should give them a try if you're looking for delicious Italian food that is a cut above!

To be honest, when I opened the menu, I thought the price was a bit on the high side, and didn't expect to like it in the "worth it" scale. But hey, for a higher price, they better deliver on the food quality! It most certainly disappoint. The food was amazing. Got the Linguini Fruti Di Mare, the seafood was good quality, the cioppino sauce was intense. It truly is the boss of the sauce. Also ordered the Chicken Marsala, I'm always cautious before ordering because the marsala wine can easily become overwhelming, or the sauce is too sour, or the chicken is tough and dry. I did not hit any of those, but rather, what I got was a few silky smooth and tender pieces of flattened chicken breasts, that is moist and flavorful. The sauce is great too, not to mention the mushroom, that is so fresh and flavorful on its own. Last but not least, their attention to detail went all the way to mashed potato and steamed vegetables. It was truly one of the best. Did I mention the free, fresh baked foccacia? It's among the top 3 I've had in any restaurants, ever. At the end, even it pinches my wallet a bit, it was well worth it. Come hungry, leave happy!

Now I get why Sorelle has such a high score, and I'm happy that we finally gave it a try…read more It's situated in a small strip mall, parking is ok as we came at around 6:30pm on a week day night, there were still some spots available. Sorelle is a small restaurant, upon entering, it has a square room and you get to see everything at one glance. It's not fancy on decorations, more like a neighborly place and the customers look like so too, families and large groups on a random day, you don't need to dress up to eat in this place. The 2 page menu has appetizers, salad, pizza, pasta, and 3 entree dishes. Desserts are printed on a separate sheet, there are a variety of choices but a tad too expensive for my wallet. We ordered the Ravioli a la Teresa with cheese and pesto cream sauce, and their signature Sorelle Short Rib Bolognese. After ordering, we were given free bread for the table. The bread had herbs on top and the dipping sauce is olive oil with fried and then mashed soft garlic. The bread looked nothing special, but once I touched it, I was delighted to find out that they were warm and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside. It took a bit of wait for our food to came, I think it meant they were freshly cooked. The portions were big. Once laying down our food, the lady came with a big bowl of cheese and helped us sprinkle on top. It looks amazing with the cheese on top, like snow flakes melting on. I am so impressed with my short rib bolognese. The piece of short rib was sumptuous, a whole piece, resting on top of the pasta that is covered in meat sauce. The meat itself was so soft that it was super easy to tear off and just melts in my mouth. Flavorful and soft and juicy, super yummy! The pasta is cooked el dente, and each bite there's a bit of ground meat coated on the ziti pasta from the bolognese sauce. Very satisfying! I had a bite of the ravioli and these huge dumplings are covered in fresh pesto sauce and very cheesy inside. Although I was a bit confused on the difference between a pesto sauce and a pesto cream. I felt like the sauce was more pesto but we ordered pesto cream. Anyhow, it tasted good but I prefer my short rib bolognese more. Bus boy service is fast and responsive. We had a very enjoyable meal.

We ordered two Pollo Saltimbocca dishes (one with a cream pasta substitution for an additional $8), the Pollo al Limone, and a half bottle of Chardonnay. The restaurant offers one indoor dining area and two outdoor seating areas--one in the front and one in the back--which gives guests plenty of seating options. The food was a bit saltier than our personal preference. The cream pasta substitution, despite the extra charge, wasn't anything particularly memorable compared to similar dishes we've had at other restaurants. However, the highlight of our visit was definitely the warm and welcoming customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel appreciated. We also appreciate that the restaurant closes for a few hours in the afternoon before reopening for dinner service. It's nice to see a business that gives its staff a break during the day. Parking can be a bit challenging due to the busy neighborhood. Be aware that street parking is paid, and most spots have a two-hour limit, so you'll need to keep an eye on the time. Overall, we'd come back to try more of the pasta dishes on the menu and hope to discover a new favorite.

The food looked good, but my date and I didn't get a chance to try it. I live in the area and have always seen this place when going past. It looked cool and since it had such great yelp review, I thought tonight would be a good time to try it out. Just got out from a comedy show and we arrived at 9:10pm - it says they close at 10pm so we should be ok right? We only wanted to stop in, get a drink or two, and maybe 1-2 apps. After being greeted by the host, who was very nice, we told her that we just wanted to sit at the bar and get a drink and maybe a couple apps. She said "great!" with a big smile and led us there. While being led there I noted that the place had really cool decor and lighting, felt very cozy and italian. This is where it switched from a nice experience into a really quite bad one. As soon as we sat at the bar we felt unwelcome. There was a bartender there, middle-aged man with glasses and longish shaggy black hair that immediately gave us a "mean mug" type look. "That's strange..." I thought to myself. He did not greet us and seemed pre-occupied with closing the bar, wrapping up the beer spigots etc. The vibe was totally off, we are unwanted it seems. We sat there for maybe 1-2 minutes until he finally turned to us and said "Are you guys waiting for someone?" "We just want a menu" my date replied. "The restaurant is closed" he said, in quite a brusk and rude tone. I looked at my watch. It was 9:15pm. "But it says you guys close at 10pm, is that not the case?" I piped up. "No." he said, shaking his head. He turned his back to us. At this point I thought, lets go to a place that wants our money. I work with customers in my day job and would never be able to interact with a customer in the way he did. Honestly, if you're that way with customers I feel you're more suited to a warehouse job than you are working a bar. "We're not wanted here, lets leave" I said to my date. We got up and left. With people working like that working at their restaurant - save your money and go to some place else with good service. If the bar itself was closed, fine, offer us a table or something. Be nice about it. Instead we got quite rude (non)service. Again, the host was nice, keep her. But buyer beware - if you come during the last hour expect to be treated like you're unwanted garbage from unfriendly bartenders. Maybe update your hours if you "actually" close 50 minutes before it says you do?

The carbonara was amazing--served super hot with great flavor and a solid amount of meat. Easily a 10/10. One tip though: eat it while it's hot, because once it cools down, it's not quite the same. The seafood pasta was also a standout. Everything tasted fresh, the flavors were on point, and it felt surprisingly light for a pasta dish. You know how pasta can sometimes feel heavy? This didn't have that at all. Another 10/10. The pesto pasta (a special that day) was just okay for me. It leaned a bit too oily, and the pesto flavor didn't really come through. They added ricotta, which kind of overpowered everything else. I did like the portion and the amount of meat, but overall I'd give it a 7/10. The ambiance was decent--nothing too special, but clean and comfortable. Service was excellent. It felt like a family-run place--three brothers along with their wives and kids--and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. They gave great recommendations and even helped accommodate my mom by seating us closer to the bathroom, which I really appreciated. Just a heads up: it's in downtown Los Gatos, so parking can be a bit tricky since there's no private lot. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place.
