If you haven't been here yet, you absolutely need to come try the food and coffee. Their breakfast sandwich (Brioche Bread) is in my opinion better than Eggslut. The spicy aioli is great but you can ask for it on the side. The breakfast burrito is amazing too. Top of the list for me as all time best I've had. And I've had many. In my opinion, much better than Phanny's even though theirs are popular and great as well. Come try this place. I promise you won't be disappointed. Our kids love this place as well. read more

Absolute perfection! So hard satisfying a family of 4... but this venue was able to do just that! My husband is a coffee aficionado... to the point that he roasts his own beans and does everything coffee related from scratch so his espresso is perfection. When he says an espresso is ok, to everyone else's standards, it is great! La Terraza's espresso got an Ok vote from him and their iced mocha got an amazing rating from me:) the avocado toast was delish and super fresh! My kids couldn't get enough of their waffles and asked to come again (my 8 year old also asked me to post this review because she said this place deserved 5 stars). I was amazed at the relaxed atmosphere and the clean space (photos for reference). They also have outside seating for those interested. This was the worst experience and on Mother's Day to boot. I left in tears from the REDONDO LOCATION having been made to feel like a schmuck when asking for a simple request. And not just by the unaccommodating manager but also by some cook in the back who had no business getting involved in further humiliating me. I will never return here and will blast this on every social media platform until they properly train their staff on customer service. Having been the creator and owner of Umami Burger way back when, if I saw my staff speak to or heard they had treated a customer as less then, there would be action taken or they would no longer be affiliated with my restaurant. In the current climate where every penny counts, to lose 2 potential customers on their first time there, should be taken seriously. Job NOT well done. I have to be honest, my cousin and I weren't originally planning on going here. The place we originally wanted to go to was extremely packed and we didn't want to wait so we decided to give this place a try. We were so glad that other place was packed because then we wouldn't have discovered this little gem! I'm a firm believer in the idea that things happen the way they're supposed to, so we were meant to eat here that day! We instantly fell in love. The menu is so simple & the food was delicious. We went in on a Wednesday and the waffles were half off due to their special "Waffle Wednesday." We ordered one of each of their breakfast sandwiches, one was a bagel breakfast sandwich & the other was on a brioche bun. It had a chipotle aioli, cheddar cheese, a fried egg and bacon. It was perfect and even came with a side salad! Yum! My cousins sandwich was the same except it was on a bagel and she loved hers as well. The waffle was so fluffy & perfect, too! Like I mentioned before, I am so glad we got to experience this little gem. I used to be a barista at a local coffee shop during my undergrad & a good iced latte is hard to find. I had their Horchata Iced Latte with Oat Milk and it was nothing short of amazing. The espresso was impeccable. The service was amazing, too. I am so glad I discovered this place. One of my go to breakfast/ coffee spots in Redondo. You can grab a great cup of coffee and a tastey breakfast and chill on the patio. Or if youre on the go you can take it down to the beach and enjoy an amazing view. Their breakfast selection isnt huge, but everything is fresh and tastes good. The coffee is excellent hot or iced. The location itself has limited parking, and the noise from PCH can be overwhelming at times. The interior makes up for it with midcentury modern decor, it is clean and the staff is very friendly. read more

Best new coffee shop in the Southbay! I have been a patron of other coffee shops in the area but now that La Terraza is open I'm definitely going to make it my go-to coffee spot. New cute spot by the beach! Parking is very easy on the neighborhood street. Service is attentive and kind--we were asked several times if we needed anything and all the staff were down to earth. There a couple tables inside, a sofa, and one seating outside. FOOD: + Avocado Toast - Yum yum yum! Pretty self explanatory. I downed this meal pretty fast. It is light, so you can definitely share another plate if you're hungry. + French Toast - This was more filling than the AT. There is custard inside the bread which is sweet and a bit like tart. The syrup and strawberries add to its sweet taste! DRINKS: + Chai Latte - This one is A-OK. I will probably try the other drinks next time with more coffee taste. My only complaint is there is nowhere to park or lean my bike and when I mentioned it to the staff it was like no reaction, it went to deaf ears....so somebody's reading this might have some power just put a little bike rack somewhere so people can park and lock their bikes! read more
