loved the scenery while eating and everything tasted ok but the hibiscus mint iced tea tasted so bad like it tastes sour and it had this weird flavor that's why this review is only 4 stars

We happened to be at the Lady Bird Wildflower Center and hadn't eaten lunch yet. We originally planned on grabbing something after we left but then discovered the cafe they have here. It is a cute little spot that overlooks the wildflower fields. I was glad to see the menu had some nice healthy options on it. My husband and I each ordered a salad. I got the Tower Salad and he got the Aquaduct with chicken. Both were a pretty good size and worth the cost. Everything was super fresh and delicious. I also ordered the hibiscus tea. I would absolutely recommend stopping in here for a snack or lunch while visiting. It's a cute little spot to enjoy with your loved ones.

Waited 20 minutes for an anemic hot dog and some garbage fruit. I won't make the mistake of coming here hungry ever again.

I happily drive over 25 minutes just to get my coffee here, and I'd do it again without hesitation. Everything is made with so much care. They roast their own coffee beans in-house, and you can truly taste the difference. Their espresso is incredibly smooth never bitter, never burnt, just consistently excellent. My personal favorite is the Honey Lavender Latte, but their matcha is hands down the best I've had anywhere in Austin. They also make their own syrups from scratch, and their house chai is unlike any other fresh, balanced, and full of flavor. I also love that you can buy their freshly roasted beans to take home, have them delivered, or even sign up for a coffee subscription. It's such a great way to enjoy their coffee even when you can't make it into the shop. The baristas are always genuinely kind, welcoming, and passionate about what they do. Every visit feels personal, and the atmosphere is warm without trying too hard. They even host coffee classes, which is such a fun way to learn more about the craft behind every cup. Praxis may be a little hidden, but that's part of its charm. If you appreciate high-quality coffee, thoughtfully crafted drinks, and supporting an incredible local small business, this place deserves a spot at the top of your list. Austin is lucky to have them.

I did get a pastry and I'm not sure if they don't warm them up but I wasn't asked if I wanted it warmed, but thank goodness we live in Texas and I can just put it on the dash while I drive to my next destination and it will warm up. They do have a small set of chairs to sit and wait or finish your coffee. I will definitely be back in the area.

They even had a gluten free chocolate chip cookie that felt homemade. (I forget the bakery's name that was on the wrapper). My wife enjoyed her espresso milk shake and I had their seasonal strawberry crumble (cinnamon) latte and loved it! I would have never thought about strawberry flavor in a latte - but glad I was feeling "adventurous" that day. Lol. It actually reminded me of when I was a kid and would make strawberry flavored milk with Hershey's strawberry syrup. So basically that plus cinnamon and coffee. Who knew?! Their seating area is very cute and they have outdoor tables as well. (It was too hot for outside but in the cooler season it would be a nice little local neighborhood spot to chill out in). The baristas were also very pleasant and friendly. Additionally, I visited the restroom to wash my hands and I seriously don't recall ever seeing such a clean, spotless, and pleasantly scented, coffee shop or restaurant bathroom! Kudos to the staff who clearly work hard keeping the entire store clean and inviting.
