Beef brisket over chow fun noodle $15.99 plus tax

I had a meeting nearby Lagoon Drive near the airport from 11am to 12pm. I was hungry afterwards and Lagoon Chinese Restaurant was nearby. I heard they got good food so I decided to check it out. It was fairly crowded during lunch and I noticed the takeout side was busy. Decided to try the beef brisket over chow fun noodles. It looked and tastes good. Prices are reasonable. Service was fast and friendly. Try it if you're nearby

Heard about Lagoon Chinese Restaurant from my favorite Aunty. We finally got the chance to visit them. Located on Waiwai Lp along the Skyline Route. The exterior is misleading (building from the 60's). Inside is a cute and cozy dining room. Service is great. They're very fast and efficient. Lots of "Take Out" orders. Menu is very interesting. It's a combination between Dinner food and Chinese cuisine. We ordered the Gon Lo Mein and the Sweet and Sour Cabbage with Beef. Both were prepared fresh and served streaming hot. Simply delicious . Great for Lunch or Dinner. Highly recommended

Their local blend taste of Chinese food is amazing that we all enjoy. Either we call in to take out or eat their menu chef cooks to our standard of local Chinese cuisine. It's a hole in wall restaurant hidden by the old airport road... no reservation required we always walk in...

One Day I decided to hop on the rail to check it out... Parked my truck at the closest Park N Ride and hopped on the train... i remembered i've always wanted to try Lagoon Chinese. So, i hopped off at Āhua Station on Lagoon Drive. Ordered me Pork and Bitter Melon & Pork with Ong Choi... Took these dishes to-go and hopped back on the rail because i had a pot of Jasmine rice waiting for me at home... The food was so good. The ladies and the counter were nice... Food probably took 10 minutes after i ordered it... I'll definitively come back and try the other dishes. Especially, if the 2 i ordered before were a smashing hit!!!

Delicious hidden Chinese spot! Busy with lots of takeout at lunch, but food came out decently speedy and very fresh for those dining in. Parking directly for the restaurant is minimal, but they allow for parking in the attached hotel spots. So it becomes even more easily accessible! Chow Funn is one of the best on this island that I have had so far. Fried rice is a bit flavorless, alike to unseasoned white rice. Strong beans were flavorful, and cooked to have a perfect crunch!

On another foodie adventure with Yelp Elite All Star buddy Donna O. I was introduced for my first time to Lagoon Chinese Restaurant. Mind you, I just enjoyed a full nine course plus Chinese dinner the night before at Yi Xin Cafe, in the Market City Shopping Center. Sadly, I was not hungry for Chinese food, and Donna assured me that the restaurant had many other choices. There is free parking available here in a small lot. Otherwise, you will need to find street parking. Restrooms are available outside the restaurant and you will need to request the key for entry into the bathroom. Minus one star for MSG used here. It's just not my favorite seasoning. I know it adds flavor! But I'm sensitive to MSG. I ended up ordering a hamburger with crinkle cut fries. Donna ordered Minute Chicken with cake noodles, and stir fried green beans with pork (not on menu). Donna let me try both dishes. Both were very tasty! My hamburger and fries were good. I enjoyed the crinkle fries, which are served hot! Service was friendly and efficient here. Would I return here again? Definitely, but I'll be careful of the msg used here.

A tried and true lunch option you can never go wrong with when you're craving quick Chinese food. So much so, that this place is in my colleague's rotation of suggestions whenever we want take out. I usually go with their lunch combos, but I decided to try something new this year and get their roast chicken over cake noodle. I was not disappointed! For less than $20, I got two meals out of this because there was so much! The chicken was moist but had a flavorful and crispy skin. My only tip would be to order the sauce/veggies they top the cake noodles with on the side so your noodles don't get too soggy. To reheat, pop it in the air fryer and you're good to go!! I've only ever ordered take out from Lagoon, but at some point, I'd like to dine in. My coworkers say service is pretty quick and whenever we order take out, our orders are typically ready for pick up within 15-25 mins.

We came here for an early Sunday dinner and food was fantastic! The chow fun was excellent here, perfectly sauced, soft with a slight chew, and absolutely delicious. Every dish was great! This place has great local Chinese food, good prices, and generous portions. We will be back!

After many visits with friends and with my mom, I would now rate it a 5 stars for the yummy food, great service, and good prices! As a group, I was fortunate to try a variety of new dishes and some I may not have ordered it if I was on my own. Growing up, we stuck to the same old dishes that I grew up on like gon lo mein , beef broccoli, beef chow fun, taro duck, almond duck, etc. As a group, I was able to try other dishes such as chicken & salty fish fried rice, sweet & sour cabbage, string beans with minced pork and I enjoyed it! Lagoon Chinese restaurant is a hidden gem off of Lagoon Drive on Waiwai loop. Who would have thought there was a Chinese Restaurant here until I saw the check ins from Elite Yelpers Jo Y, Paul C and Heidi H! Not only serving Chinese food but they are opened for breakfast with breakfast and local barbecue dishes. They catered to the Pacific Marina Inn guests on property too. Not only was the food delicious here, it was pretty reasonable compared to other Chinese Restaurants' prices. The restaurant was casual and clean. The one unisex restroom was outside and shared by others but needed a key. Service was good and hot tea is complimentary. The restaurant was popular among locals and they are really busy with take outs orders! Abundance of parking near by on the street and parking in the lot to the right near the restaurant. I was told you can park any where on the property! My friend who always preferred to eat anywhere but Chinese food for years, enjoyed the food here! My mom and I dined here twice and ate the same two of my favorite dishes again. My mom enjoyed it so much, and told the lady worker that everything was so good and it was her first time here! Wondering what it was? The minute chicken cake noodles and string beans with minced pork (not listed on the menu) were really tasty here! Great chef skills! With so many Chinese restaurants closing especially the old school chop suey places, I'm so glad we still have a few good restaurants left! Hard to find good chef with great skills to make all these unique dishes. Btw-You may like their braised brisket with look fun too! Give Lagoon Chinese Restaurant a try! I would come here more often, only wished they were near my home!

Lagoon Chinese Restaurant is located inside/right next to Pacific Marina Inn Hotel. My boyfriend was staying at that hotel when he came to visit and I heard good things about the restaurant. We weren't really hungry but still wanted to fill our stomachs with food, so we went kind of late... about an hour before closing. Since we weren't hungry, I didn't get to order anything my friends recommended (bad mistake). We decided to share the Combo C plate which comes with fried rice, sweet sour spareribs, roast pork, beef broccoli, and 2 pieces of crispy won ton. Okay, I'm not gonna lie... it was okay. It wasn't the best and it wasn't that terrible. BUT the crispy gau gee was the most terrible part. The filling was so so tiny that we didn't eat it. I will come back here another time and order some of the things that my friends recommended :)

Celebrating Kung hei fat choy for dinner at Lagoon Chinese restaurant tonight . Didn't take too much pictures of the food because been here so many times lol . But they were very busy not only because it's a Saturday also lots of people wanted to celebrate Chinese New Years . Still service was friendly and they kept up no matter how busy they were . My go to place for good and tasty Chinese food . Support local

Stopped here like I usually do because it's right by the airport. Ordered takeout because I love their roast duck. Baby approved and mommy and daddy approved. The only downside is I remember when they were building the rail and seeing the eye sore. Years later, still an eye sore. I feel so sorry for all the people and businesses negatively effected by the rail. But the food and service is still good. Definitely check them out. They've been here awbile awhile.

First time here. Hidden gem. Reminds me of my family's restaurant when I was growing up. Free parking for the hotel stalls or on the street. Food is priced at preinflation pricing and very delicious. Huge portions. Clean and great service for a Chinese restaurant!!!

Unfortunately, it was one of the biggest disappointments of my vacation. The Singapore crab completely missed the mark. Instead of the rich, savory, slightly sweet and spicy flavor I was expecting, it tasted like it was covered in plain tomato sauce with very little seasoning. There was no depth or authentic flavor at all. The salted egg yolk wings were just as disappointing. They were incredibly bland and lacked the rich, buttery, savory salted egg flavor that makes this dish so popular. I honestly don't understand why these are recommended as signature dishes. I came in with high expectations based on the reviews, but left wondering why anyone would recommend such bland, overly saucy food. There are far better places to experience authentic Singapore-style flavors. Worst meal of our trip.

The first thing I saw when I walked in was the owner making dumplings by hand. That immediately gave me the feeling I was in the right place. Growing up I watched my own Mom make our version of dumplings, so seeing that kind of care and craftsmanship felt familiar. The owner was warm and very welcoming, and as each dish was completed she brought it out fresh from the kitchen, which gave me a chance to taste the food while it was still steaming. It was hot, but I could not stop myself from sampling it :) Everything I ordered was delicious and clearly made fresh. I'll be honest though, watching the dumplings being prepared right in front of me was a real highlight. I'm sure that some of you out there can relate to this.
