I just ordered some take out of Goat Biryani, Butter Chicken and extra Naan. Deeply disappointed. The biryani was just colored rice with exactly two pieces of very dry mutton and absolutely no taste or flavor. My wife and I ate a couple of mouth fulls and it went straight to the garbage. The naan appears to have shrunk to half the size they used to be. we have been regular customers there for over 10 years from the time they were 7-Spices at another location. That alone earns them 4 stars but outside of that their prices are a bit high and I've tried their other food which is pretty average. This place is the best Pakistani restaurant in Plano/frisco. At first I wasn't sure if this would be comparable to Sabri or Usmania in Chicago but I have been very impressed. The chicken dum biryani is great and it's only 8 dollars. The beef and chicken seekh kabobs are great, but I think the chicken kabob is better. This is the first time I tried the dual kabob and it's phenomenal. I also really liked the kheer, but for 6 dollars it's overpriced. We frequently come here to get take out whenever we're in the mood for South Asian food but just don't want to cook. The works are extremely helpful and do a great job explaining dishes and making helpful suggestions. I have yet to get something I don't particularly like from here. Although please take this with a grain of salt - 85% of the time I always want the chicken kebab. Yes, I'm crazy like that, but it's just so good! The best part is the naan they serve it with. It isn't slathered in butter like most other restaurants. Instead it's a well roasted piece of bread that works great with the kebabs. The best part of all is the mint chutney that goes with the kebabs and naan. Be warned it is a bit spicy but a little goes a long way. One of the best mixed grill plates in the DFW area. All the kabob items were cooked very well, except for the chicken seekh kabob which was a bit bland. The Bihari kabob and beef seekh kabob are particularly good. Portion sizes for each item on the mixed plate are generous too. They also have the best meat samosas I've had in the DFW area. Definitely order these and take some for home. Main criticism is the service. Staff are polite but they seemed a bit understaffed both times I went. read more

Very nice food! We really enjoyed the chicken tikka masala and the Lahoori Combo - especially the spicy tandoori chicken - I think it it's called chicken Karara? Nice service if not the speediest, it took a few minutes for the waitress to acknowledge us even though there was only one other table occupied. Very friendly though, with patient explanations of dishes we were unfamiliar with. The owner also gave us a complementary kheer because we said we weren't big fans of kheer, and he said they make theirs differently - slow cooked for hours.
