Eh, it was ok. Not the worst but definitely not the best. We just went because it's closest to the house and my in-laws suggested. We ordered cake noodles with our beef broccoli, vegetable fried rice and some gau gee. I wanted to order the walnut shrimp but my in-laws said do not order, it's not good...so I can't comment on that. The gau gee was yummy, the flavor for the beef broccoli was good but there was barely any beef at all. I could actually count the pieces. The fried rice was decent but I wouldn't order again. The food here is really good! My family and I really like it here. When we camp done that side we always order one night of dinner from them The service is always great, friendly, patient and family feel. Inside is small but who cares when the food is good I forgot to take pics we always order gauge cake noodle, shrimp canton, beef broccoli, roast duck (my fav!!! ) egg fuyoung and white rice. This is exactly the kind of food I've been craving since my last trip to Hawaii. We've never stayed this far north on Oahu and we're so happy to find this gem! We just went thru the Haunted Lagoon and was hungry!! we are all thinking Zippys back in town, but someone mentioned Laie Chop Suey. So it was a go. I had dinner here with a group of 11. We each ordered a dish and did family style. I thought their food was great! Until i spilled the entire Lemon Chicken sauce on my plate of food. Man i was so bummed. But my bf switched plates with me! So nice of him. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. My water was refilled without constantly bugging them.
