Armen and his crew did a fabulous job rebuilding the rear passenger side of my Nissan Altima. Another body shop claimed that it would need to be replace since there was a 4 inch hole sliced clear through the body. Armen said that he could repair it without having to replace it for a cost nearly one third the other quote. It looks better than new and it was delivered to me a day earlier than quoted. They even cleaned up other minor scrapes. This was the first time that I used Lakeside but all my future body work will be done there. read more

This shop is TOP NOTCH! They fixed front fender and bumper cover and replace drivers side headlight assembly. Looks factory new. The even polished the passenger side headlight assembly so they both matched. They even cleaned the interior. The car was way cleaner than it was when I dropped it off. They even delivered the car. So, I had a little fender-bender 11/27 and didn't have a clue where to take my baby. The folks that hit me actually suggested Lake Side as the place to go because that's where they have always taken their cars. I said okay, I'll check them out. Well, from the first, they were pleasant and professional. Armen spoke plain English without making me feel like he was talking down to me, and even as one of the owners, assessed the damage and did what was best for me and my car, not his shop. I dropped off my car on Monday and got it back Tuesday looking showroom clean and well repaired! I swear to you, the paint and repair look better than it did when it was new! The color is matched perfectly! Even the dings and such that were near the bumper are gone! And the car wash! I don't know who they use, but WOW! My car hasn't been this clean since Day 1! used to love these guys, i've kept their business card for over 25 years but I will not be going back. I had them replace a bumper; 4 weeks later the plastic under-body cover snapped off its attachments to the new bumper as I was driving on the Edens. They took absolutely no responsibility for their labor. They stated their labor warranty is "lifetime" but at the same time "we can't be responsible for what happens once you take it from our shop!" I think they are unclear on the concept of a warranty. Very friendly people, but when I took the car to a different shop I was charged 1/3 the labor price - $15 - they lost a loyal customer over what should have been a silly $15 charge (which they were charging me $50). read more

Lakeside did a great job repairing a good size dent with paint damage near the door handle of my SUV. Armen was friendly,responsive, and knowledge. I ended up there after finding them as an approved repair site for another driver's insurance company after someone hit my Audi Q5. I was really impressed by my initial experience in working with Armen on that estimate process. Then, to make matters worse, I ended up rearending another car before my first repairs had been done so then I needed help with TWO sets of auto body repairs, working with TWO different insurance companies. Armen was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and reassuring about the entire process. They completed the work AHEAD of schedule and it looks great. This place is the best. We recently moved to Evanston and needed a place to have our car repaired when it was sideswiped. Lake Side Auto Rebuilders gave us a quick and detailed estimate, scheduled the repair right away and returned the perfectly repaired vehicle a day earlier than promised. Another plus is that they are a State Farm approved garage and got insurance approval for the repairs on the day we received the estimate. Lakeside Auto Rebuilders did a wonderful job with the auto body work recently needed on my older red Honda Civic. They combine tremendous technical expertise with amazing artistry, in that they matched the red color perfectly! My car looks like it did when I purchased it years ago. Armen and Michael and their technicians are perfectionists. They treat your car like it is their car! They are concerned about your safety (before repair, my car had a crunched hood and I was still driving it) and they let you know what to expect. For example, they informed me that red was often a difficult color to match as the color oxidizes over time. As it turned out, the color match was absolutely perfect!! I could not be more pleased with their efforts and will never take my car anywhere else. Lakeside did an amazing job! Cleaning my car inside was another unexpected but very welcome surprise!!
