The decorations are off-the-charts festive, and they host the Miracle Pop-up, which includes branded holiday cocktails and mocktails.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I popped in last year when it was still called Ferry + Main, and sat at the bar to enjoy a couple of the crafted holiday drinks. Loved it so much that I made a reservation for brunch this year. We got a table by the fireplace, and our server was hilarious and attentive. I ordered the Smoke & Rye toast as my main dish with a side of truffle fries and broccolini. Let me tell you, I've never had broccolini so perfectly cooked. I could have eaten it for every meal for the rest of my life. The main dish, however, was not great. They really shouldn't even put it on the menu -- the toast was too thin for all the toppings, and the tomatoes were mealy. My mom loved her Pork sandwich though, so I think I just ordered the wrong thing. Drinks were excellent. I had the Snowball old fashioned and then the Coconut hot chocolate in a cute Santa mug. It is worth mentioning that when I booked the reservation on OpenTable, I indicated that my dining companion and I were celebrating our anniversary (of our first date). The hostess and our server wished us a happy anniversary and gave us a more secluded table overlooking the bar-- an obvious sign of a well-trained staff that focuses on the details and shows an appreciation for their customers. Shoutout to the entire staff (with special thanks to our server, Christine) for making our anniversary brunch so memorable--and delicious! We primarily chose Ferry + Main for the location (a 2-minute stroll-and-roll from the Bucks County Playhouse) and ended up discovering a gem. The live music, brunch offerings, and celebratory touches (such as complimentary glasses of Prosecco for toasting) turned our pre-matinee meal into a special anniversary memory we will treasure always. One note: The wheelchair ramp entrance is in the back off the parking lot (Valet only but 2 hours free for diners), however, there isn't an automated, disability-accessible door. To be honest the food was "ok" the duck was good and soft but the risotto with it taste like oats with water with a dash of cinnamon, I wouldn't recommend it. Salmon was good tasty, crispy skin and light on the stomach, so it's a good fish option. On the other hand the shrimp place was really enjoyed and had good flavors with the "kind" of spicy sauce. The chocolate mousse desert, was just the perfect amount of sweet and softness. And FINALLY!!! An excellent CAPUCCINO and espresso, with perfect milk foam and latte art. Had a great meal here last weekend. Our server was Ryan and he was great! I would say the food choices are pretty standard, but everything we ate was delicious. The building is beautifully designed and decorated and I love the open kitchen. Drinks: I got the dirty martini and a Rose Prosecco. Both great! Hubs got the smoked old fashioned and a beer. We dined at this restaurant two nights ago and unfortunately my husband became quite ill about two hours after the meal. We ordered chicken and a burger so we aren't sure exactly what caused the sickness but it was quite serious. I just thought others should know. We have had brunch and drinks here before, so with great expectations, we booked a birthday dinner. And we were NOT disappointed. The oysters and clams were served on ice and as such, super fresh and crisp and rivaled high end seafood restaurants. The Low on the Hog bacon appetizer was a fantastic follow up to the raw seafood. Our entrees of a Cheeseburger, Crispy Skin Duck, and Bass a la Veracruz were, dare I say, perfect? The sea bass was creamy and the duck was maybe the BEST we have ever had. This is a very, very good restaurant. The food was presented well and the offerings were imaginative. Kudos to the chef and his staff. And of course, there was the attentive service and wait staff who were there for every need before we even knew we had a need. Will be going back soon and often. read more

Restaurants like the Logan Inn suffer from the impression that it's just a fancy eatery in a tourist mecca with glitz but uninspired food. If this was a Jersey shore town, you might be right. New Hope's primary reasons for visitors to trek there are, besides the artsy atmosphere, the many trinket and bauble shops that line the main street Good food doesn't always enter into the equation and that's too bad for anyone who avoids The Logan Inn, thinking it's a fancy Applebees. This is a century's old country inn with a fine kitchen and beautiful dining area. Once a season, our Ferrari Club always rallies from a car restoration shop, tours beautiful country scenery and then lunches in a gourmet restaurant to laughs about getting lost over good food and grog! We have been here a few times and the experience has always been top drawer. We have a price fixed menu (based on the budget set by our rally master) and diners get a choice of 3 or 4 items for appetizer and entree. This year, we had chicken, salmon and steak for the entree and two salads and one soup for starters. I had the steak and soup and both were quite good. The soup could have been a little warmer (possibly a function of the large group we dragged in) but the steak was spot-on - medium rare and well seasoned. Dessert was a communal plate of temptations and I grabbed the small custard cups and went home smiling - sooooo good. The parking lot (valet parking but NOT for the Ferrari crowd) is tight but a welcome feature in parking-tight (with lots of ticket-ready meter maids and meter gents) New Hope. The room and bar are a recreation in the style of an 18th century Inn. Nice big fireplace too - welcome on a chilly day. Service was a little slow but explainable given the fact that so many of us popped in all of a sudden. My overall experience here over a few visits is very positive. I like the food. The young staff is eager and anxious to help. Prices are commensurate with the quality and the location (remember, it is a tourist town...) If my wife and I were visiting as tourists, I'm sure the experience would be 5 stars. As it stands, based on my visits with the Ferrari Club, I can award two stars for the very tasty food, one star for the tasteful and inviting atmosphere and one star for the useful free parking. Yesterday we visited the bar at ferry and main. While we were there, a bartender broke a glass and cut her finger. She asked another bartender if there was a bandaid and the other bartender said no. The injured bartender put her finger in her mouth and then wrapped a rag around her finger and then a few minutes later went right back to handling drinks with her injured hand. I gave this some time for them to do the right thing but this spot is too busy being the hip spot of new hope. I loved everyone of my previous dry visits here- great food, good vibe, quality service. We were ready to celebrate many family milestones here. Then came March 25. The night itself was fine- smooth cocktails, amazing soup dumplings, shared a dozen oysters, the works. Had a great time with friends and left. Two days later, I couldn't get out of bed- my wife was upset because I was laying around, sloth like, while my son needed to be driven to a party before going out to brunch for my mother in law's birthday. After taking a berating about needing to get my life together, my body did not feel right- I had the chills, I was sweating, and then the nausea came. I vomited the entire day and the next one- unable to hold down even the smallest morsel of food. My wife took good care of me, feeling guilty about yelling at me for what appeared to be laziness. She then told me that she spoke with the other couple that we went out with and turns out, he had the exact same symptoms. We put two and two together, I had 5 oysters, he had 4, our wives didn't have enough for substantial impact. So we called Logan inn to tell them, left a message expecting a call back, never happened. Called again, expected a call back, never happened. Foodborne illness is a serious issue and when confronted about it, logan inn ran away and hid from the truth. No apology or anything. So I'll be hiding from there (and still haven't had another oyster) and will share this tale with everyone I know that suggests coming here. Why spend $400 for neurotoxic shellfish poisoning when I can eat a dead frog that I found in my pool for free, and likely get the same kind of buzz? read more

We ordered a burger and a super tender pork loin dish, the one I ended up having. It was great! Everything happens for a reason. lol. The newly remodeled Inn's restaurant has an open floor plan with good atmosphere and service to match. Option for the outdoor patio/porch seating area if it's nice out. Up here in the Northeast we have to take advantage of this, it doesn't happen too often. It's much quieter than inside if you're trying to avoid some loudness. We enjoyed our meal in the indoor dining room. Reservations highly recommended. They get very busy at times and nowadays with every business looking for help, have some patience. One of five stars. First, the noise level is beyond astonishingly loud. We couldn't hear the bartender while sitting at the bar - needed our inside table switched to outside. Beautiful brick ceilings make for terrible acoustics. We were finally seated outside which was appreciated. Second, my shrimp cocktail? Ugh. I've had better from my local grocer. Lastly, our dinner entrées were lackluster at best. With such a pretentious sounding menu (even from a foodie perspective) we thought our salmon and duck breast pastrami selections would be stellar. Nope, not a full duck breast, more like a duck breast sliver. Server blew hubs questions off; not cool. My salmon? Practically flavorless. Disappointing. The menu is aiming for a certain level of gourmet but the kitchen simply can't deliver. The chicken BLT was missing ingredients, leaving overcooked chicken to star. The burger and fries were really oily. And the salad proved they didn't quite know how to pair ingredients. The service was poor, no refills offered, bussing the table while we were still eating, and then really strange behavior with the bill. There are so many places to dine in New Hope. I would have to give it the benefit of reopening just 3 days prior to our visit but there obvious things that need to change and I think that the owners and staff already know it. So let's start from the beginning. The restaurant is doing sort of a soft opening after being closed for the pandemic and renovated before the opening. And the renovations show most everything inside this historic inn. The restaurant has several dining rooms most of which are not open yet a bar and an outdoor deck, protected by the ball cannon. Everything is nice and new from the furniture to sun umbrellas on the deck, the menu and everything else. This is where the niceties sort of end. The service right now is slow and somewhat spotty but after the pandemic I find it to be a universal problem rather than a specific one. Our waitress was trying to do her best but as she mentioned they are currently understaffed and it showed. Service was slow we came in and were seated almost immediately but it took about 10 - 15 minutes before we were asked for our drink order but I did see our waitress running around between her other tables because for the deck of about 20 tables you had only 2 waitresses plus I am guessing the front end manager helping out. We ordered a bottle of wine and it took for us 30 minutes to get it. The burger I ordered for my daughter because she was hungry and was supposed to be fired right away took about 35 minutes to come out. I mean I do get it that it's just opened and kinks are still being worked out but it would put a serious damper on future prospects for visits. One more little bit to be addressed on the deck is lighting, while there is natural light you can see the menus and the food when it comes out but after sun goes down one needs a light from the phone or a flashlight just to be able to see the face of the person sitting next to you. The deck design is great with low lighting but you need to have light on the table too. Food was mostly hit with great octopus and chicken and burger and pork belly but the steak I ordered was a miss a bit too much salt in the butter and I think it was well done rather then med-rare (still tasty though) and the reason that I think rather then I know is barely any light after 9pm. One thing I did notice though the inside bar was packed and I mean completely. If there were tables near the bar it would be even better but I personally prefer the deck. Overall I would think that this place has great potential once it works out the kinks but need to stay on top of things. And please reopen the whiskey bar!!!!! This was for an anniversary dinner; no one wished us Happy Anniversary (would have been a nice touch). It's a beautifully redone indoor and outdoor space in New Hope, but there wasn't anyone at the indoor host(ess) stand (which is how we entered) and we had to wander around and finally went to the concierge desk for the hotel to figure out how to get our table. Other signage is still missing; the trek to the washroom was not well marked necessitating another stop to ask where things were. The food was good. The service was only fair. At this price point the service details needs to be there. The seafood tower was delivered without any explanation of the oysters, clams, tartare, or ceviche. When asked, the waiter failed to correctly identify the ceviche (it was scallop, not crab). No side plates were provided with the seafood tower, so we had to use our napkins to rest the crab shells. Cleansing towels were not provided, so we had to walk through the restaurant with dirty hands to go to the washroom for cleanup. The soup was delivered without a spoon (though they did spot that right away without having to be asked). At the end of the meal before dessert our dirty napkins and plates were left on the table; the service manager noted this and came over to clean up in advance of dessert arriving. Wait staff overall were pleasant. They're still working on the kinks (it re-opened end of August) - espresso and coffee are options, cappuccino or lattes are not. No dessert ports currently (but they are working on it). The onsite valet was amazing - there's an app to request your car, and they timed it to be there as we were walking out of the restaurant. The atmosphere is so fun, warm, classy, and welcoming! The bar staff was incredible, all our drinks were very good down to the detail. Prices were very fair! Food at the bar, suck fat fries, so light, super crispy with a kiss of rosemary, just enough salt, they were served hot and soooooo crispy! The Brussels were absolutely amazing, perfection really. The lobster Mac n cheese fell flat at 17.00 charge 20-24 and put lobster chunks in there, it had great cheese flavor, pasta was perfectly cooked, would order again. Pineapple upside down cake was good, the pineapple was lost in the coffee crumbles, the miso caramel was fabulous, when you could find it, charge more and give us more of the miso caramel!
