We bought our 2011 CR-V here, back in 2011. The dealership has grown considerably since then. It now spans the block and across the street too. The waiting area is comfortable and has plenty of room to accommodate several people. I'm not sure what they are doing right now with the social distancing, but I do know that they are still servicing cars, as they are an essential business. Plus, if you need to buy a new car or used car (oops, previously owned or is it gently used or whatever they are calling it now), then they can accommodate you. Customer service representatives are pleasant, and they have always done a good job with my vehicle. I always feel as though they don't try to up sell, which is always a pain to deal with. The mechanics just do what they are asked to do. I was getting an oil change once here after having my winter tires changed from a well known tire place (who had tried desperately to sell me new tires), and when I asked Larry Miller if I needed new tires, the answer was completely different--nope. Bought a used 2022 Pilot from these guys and when I took it to get snow tires they noticed the front and rear tires that were on it didn't match. I called the dealership and said hey uhh usually you don't sell someone an AWD car with 2 different sets of tires, how do you want to handle this? Crickets. My wife and I decided to sign up for the $2500 additional warranty because the finance guy said it was fully refundable if we decided not to do it within 30 days. Well 2 weeks later we decided against it, only to find that it is darn near impossible to cancel and get a refund. It's been a month and a half, they owe me $2500 and they don't respond to emails or phone calls. I didn't know I had to go in and shake them down like a mob boss. We bought our new Honda CR-V here back in 2011 when we were visiting and they delivered it to Walla Walla for no charge. We also traded in our Toyota and they took it sight unseen. Since then we had the car serviced in Walla Walla until we moved to Spokane. We are now using Larry Miller Honda for all our service calls. The whole service experience here has always been excellent. The service managers are all very friendly and they always treat you well. I bought the 3 pack oil change in September 2023 for my 4 year old Honda Passport. The multi-point inspection came back perfect for the first oil change. Second oil change April 2024 the multi-point inspection came back with $1200 of services. I stay up to date on my service and a few of those services were done on time at Coeur d'Alene Honda. They stated that Coeur d'Alene Honda did not do the service correctly. One of the services was for an emission light that had come on during the spring break trip we had recently been on. The emission light turned off when returning home. The dealership stated that if the emission light had resolved itself then the vehicle probably did not need additional service. However, they stated they would run the diagnostic test. There was no communication that there would be a fee to hook the computer up to the vehicle. 1) Within an hour of dropping the vehicle off (dropped off 2PM), we receive a call that it stated the diagnostic code PO4F1 and PO441 Low Purge Flow Detected and EVAP System Purge Flow Malfunction 2) I got a text a text at 3:08 PM. I immediately call Myron, the Service Writer and he stated that his team could not replace the part until Tuesday (I came in on a Saturday). I stated I was not available to bring the car back in on Tuesday. Somehow he was quickly able to switch gears and finish the work in less than an hour. The call to Myron took place at 3:11PM and the entire service (3 services see below) was completed at 4:11 pm. 3) Myron charged $320 in Labor for a $48 Purge Solenoid part (it takes 10 minutes for a DIY mechanic to replace). In that time frame the rear differential fluid was changed (I opted that when I dropped off vehicle) and the oil was changed. The entire bill was $586 for two hours and 15 minutes of service. (75 minutes of that time frame was spent doing the multi - point inspection, 60 minutes was spent a) changing the oil, b) replacing the Purge Solenoid and c) Rear Differential Fluid. 4) Of the $1200 services that Larry Miller stated were immediate, I decided to get a second opinion the following week and was told told they were not immediate. The day after and the days to follow until I unsubscribed from the emails and texts, I received messages of urgency that these services needed to be done immediately for the health of my vehicle. 5) I contacted the General Manager, George Lohr the following week regarding a) my experience with Service Writer Myron, and b) confusion with the services/charges. George Lohr responded initially, but when I asked for a credit of the excessive labor charge for the Purge Solenoid and a credit for my oil change contract, he did not respond. Reflections and Observations made about Larry Miller: a) They purposely keep you in the waiting room for 2 plus hours for an oil change so they can find additional issues with your vehicle and have that 2 hours to take care of those unnecessary repairs. If the service was only an hour they would not be able to take care of the unnecessary repairs and collect labor costs that are overly excessive. This would allow the consumer to get a second opinion to see if the repairs are truly necessary. Larry Miller wants to create a feeling of urgency and overwhelm the customer so they don't deny or take their vehicle elsewhere for a second opinion. b) The service writers are out to make a commission and seem annoyed if asked additional questions. They don't want you questioning them and what they are requesting be done of your vehicle. c) Larry Miller has switched to an automated text system for the multi-point inspection which requires a simple click to accept services. This alleviates them having to make the phone call and truly explain the services. d) Larry Miller really only cares about the bottom line dollar being a mega dealership instead of being a business of integrity and honesty. read more

After speaking to three employees who all said that Findlay would stick to the way the previous Dealership gave discounts to Veterans and Active Duty Military I was left totally confused because only one employee said they would also give a 10% discount on Service and Parts as which was the previous dealerships policy in Writing on their Website. I just did the "$55" oil change at Larry H.Miller Honda. First, the cost is closer to $56 than $55, that's trivial, but indicative of the sloppiness I observed. I expected to a get a report of thousands of dollars of other recommended work and I did. The next they sent was difficult to navigate and it appeared there was already a check by decline all services. Nonetheless, I responded with "I reject all other services but the free car wash." I returned to the dealership hours after the car was done and paid. The attendant was courteous but did not attempt to explain any of the recommended services. His keyboard was blazoned with Green Bay Packer symbols. I asked why he was a Packer fan and he went on and on. When he finally stopped, I started to reply and in midsentence he started a conversation with someone else, totally ignoring my existence. I went out to the car. It had not been washed. Moreover, there was a greasy handprint on the hood. Instead of washing the car, they made it worse. I have my doubts that they actually changed the filter as they did not show it to me, and it is difficult to find. Given that they lied about a car wash being part of the service, I wouldn't believe anything else they would say if they did try to sell me further services. Their rudeness is inexplicable. Salesman was very patient on an extended test drive. Felt like we got a fair deal on the car we wanted. I purchased a non-certified used car and based on the work they did prior to the sale I believe that Larry H Miller Honda endeavors to sell quality cars at fair prices. The finance department was outstanding and did not try to pressure me into GAP or extended warranties. After we had a deal, they even washed the vehicle and filled the tank with gas. We had one little bump in the road and the manager went far out of his way to make sure everything was taken care of. I will stop here first next time I need another Honda. read more

Wow. Just wow. We went here looking for a used car in a certain price range. I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman because we did not feel at all welcome. Here is why: We were not greeted by anyone. We had to go inside the building and find someone. OK, no biggie there. We then sat down at a desk with the salesman and he asked us a few questions as to what we were looking for. He said he would be right back, as he had to go look up cars on another computer (not sure why he couldnt use the computer we were all sitting at?) He comes back with car keys and tells us he has the perfect car. It was not a brand we specifcally asked for so we politely declined. He said he had a Honda Accord that might work so we asked him to pull it up on the computer so we could take a look and he told us to 'just look on your phone' and that 'its on the website'. Ummm OK?? So we did and i wasnt fond of the color/year so i told him 'no thank you'. He immediately got pissy and asked 'well WHY NOT? What dont you like?' so i tried to explain but kept getting cut off. He then had the audacity to say 'Well if you had made an appointment I could have researched other cars for you'. Ummm since when do people browsing car lots make appointments? I told him we were leaving and he said 'I might have a Civic... let me go check' so we decided to wait one more time. We were sitting at the desk and another salesman comes over and sits down and rudely asks us 'So why is your limit only 12K'? WHAT? Who asks a customer that? I was in shock. I snapped back 'Because we dont want a large car payment'. I had the worst taste in my mouth so after that guy walked away we literally left without saying a word. Screw that. read more

Poor post-sale experience. While I had a good experience with the sales associate that helped me, me post sales experience was less than stellar. First, the dealership took sales tax from me but has not reported it to the state, or itemized it on my bill. Second, they have failed to provide me with the paperwork to title my vehicle. I bought a new 2019 Honda HR-V from this dealership and have had the absolute worst buying experience of my life. It literally was a 3 week ordeal. First off, they have hardly any cars on their lot. I wanted a specific color that needed to be shipped from Montana. I kept getting told from the salesman it would be a day or two, and it actually ended up being almost 2 weeks. Every time I called to ask, nobody could even give me a straight answer. Like what? You don't know where your merchandise is and specifically, the car I've already purchased is!? But I didn't hear anything from my salesman until I called and complained about getting the runaround on dates. Finally I get my car and its given to me by another salesman who has no idea about my experience or the accessories I purchased to be put on the car. I was missing a second remote to my remote start which no one knew about until I emailed my original salesman!!! I go to pick the remote up once I was called and told it was ready and was then told it was going to be a two hour wait for them to program it! Are you kidding me? Even after I complained to one of the managers about how frustrated I was all I got told was they would fill up my tank for having to make over 5, 60 minute round trips to deal with this bullshit. DO not buy from this dealership or even do business. I am honestly going to be taking any maintenance to Idaho. I am a reasonable person and I just cannot believe how clueless the people are at this place. And if you do decide to buy, make sure you take a second person as a bullshit meter. read more

They sold me a vehicle for 18,000 dollars that within the first few weeks had screeching back breaks and a few weeks later the front brakes are making noise. My car makes humming noises from the wheels when I turn which means probably bad wheel bearings. They sell you shit at a high price with a lot of problems. We purchased a brand new 2019 Honda Fit EX-L. While my interaction on first purchase was quite cordial, when we finally got the car delivered, we noticed a small dent in what is supposed to be a pristine new car. We immediately contacted the seller w/ photos on the very next day and were lead to believe that they would get back in touch with us with what they wanted to do to remedy the problem. It has literally been over 3 weeks and I have yet to hear from the dealership on what they want to do, from the people who were designated to get back to me. Be very very weary of their "in house" financing, or as they call it "our bank". I tried to finance a used Nissan from them and was quoted a monthly payment of $755 on a purchase price of $24,500 at 18% over 72 months and 1,000 down. I was astonished at such a high monthly on a 24K car. When I asked the sales person why, he initially claimed he does not know and will get back to me. Next day, I was informed by the sales person that the reason for the high price was because of a "Service Agreement" on the vehicle. To which I quickly replied: "the only way for a service agreement to push the monthly payment to 750, is if the agreement was over 10,000 dollars". I then asked, "what is the cost of the service agreement?". The salesperson said "I don't have that information". I said to him "You got to be kidding me!" I pressed him some more to get the exact price of the service agreement and again, told me that he'll have to get back to me but he will also send me a copy of the breakdown via email. I received the one page worksheet and started to audit the calculations on the worksheet and something was just not adding up. I called the salesperson again and started to drill him on the worksheet starting with the conspicuously missing information on the service agreement. I asked where is the amount of the service agreement and to my complete amazement he said "Well, for some reason, it does not print the amount on the actual worksheet I sent you". I wish I was making this up but that is what he said to me. I was dumbfounded and said, "how in the heck, can you expect me to drive up there and purchase the car without first knowing the exact details of the financing???? I asked him again, why is the agreement price not shown and how much is it. He again said "I'm not sure but I'll get back to you". Not even 10 minutes after we hung up, I get a call from the "Finance Guy". He said that apparently, I had some questions about the financing?. I asked him why the monthly was so high on a purchase price of 24K. I also asked him why the sales tax on the purchase price is double what it should be (6.5%) to which he insultingly said to me "well, your calculations are wrong". It just went downhill from there. I pressed him further on the monthly payment to which he said "well, you have the TTL, etc, etc. I pointed said, "I'm plugging in all the variables here and I'm still getting a monthly of $555". He again told me "I don't know what software you are using but its wrong". I started to tell him that a simple calculation of the tax at 6.5 percent is this amount and not what you are showing on the worksheet..........then, he interrupted me and said: "Ok, so where do you want to be with this car?". I was so pissed off because at that point, I was more than convinced that I was being scammed into agreeing to a fraudulent and completely misleading financing scheme. I called the salesperson back and told him what happened on the phone with finance guy and he just kept apologizing and we hung up. I also sent him an email with the same information.......crickets. Go elsewhere and save yourself the frustration. We had to give them $1000 none refundable deposit (if we didn't buy the vehicle) to hold for 3 hrs so we could drive up there. That in itself is pretty standard bc the CR-V touring addition sell out pretty fast. My complaint is they didn't credit is the 1000 when we purchased it and we didn't realize it until we got back home. We made 3 calls before someone called us back to say, oops, you should get that in the mail in 6 to 8 wks. The correspondence was excellent until we purchased the vehicle then it seems to have all dried up. We asked that the vehicle be ready for a trip that we were going to take the following day. They assured us vehicle would be in tip top shape. An idiot light on the dash came on saying the tire pressure was low. The car had no windshield washer fluid. Bought my car a year ago, very smooth experience start to finish. Got the 2 year maintenance plan with it and have had 3 visits so far. Amazing service each time. Larry H. Miller sold us a used vehicle they claimed to be safe without offering a warranty, but turns out it has 1 to 3 bad wheel bearings (via an independent technician) which is a safety issue unless you enjoy the excitement of losing a wheel on the highway! LHM would only pay for half of 1 wheel bearing claiming we could have damaged it ourselves in the 2 weeks we owned the vehicle and the GM would not return our phone call to discuss the issue. We came to LHM since we trusted a dealership to do the right thing, we've lost that trust. To clarify, an independent service technician mentioned it was clear from a test drive that there is an issue with the vehicle, in particular the bearings. We believe one of the following: 1) there was no test drive during the safety check or trade-in, 2) the test drive personnel didn't recognize the issue, or 3) the test drive personnel did recognize the issue. None of these options bolsters trust in the dealership. read more

Steve, thank you for following up on my review. This shows that you take concerns seriously. Unfortunately it does not trickle down the ladder to everyone but we all have at least one who puts a blemish on our operation. I have not changed my rating as I do not agree with some of your response. First off I understand the high APR given due to not having credit, I do also know that with a co-signer with excellent credit his APR would be less. Marion was told that this would not hep his monthly payment very much and was advised by your team not to get a co-signer. I appreciate the return of his money but still find a hard time understanding why it took up to 8 days for this decision to be made. Just seems that he was not taken seriously because he was not disruptive so there was no urgency on anyone's part to take action. Lastly, all this could have been avoided and a deal could have been made if Cunningham would have returned the call from the 3 voice messages that we left for him. His unwillingness to do so shows that he does not have the same care as you have shown in your quick response to my review. I purchased my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe from here in June 2022, and I've had nothing but issues since then. I've had to get the oil changed / added literally every single month since I got it. It never leaked oil, but I was told it was "bone dry" each time - so, it was definitely sucking up oil somewhere and somehow. A few weeks ago, the check engine light came on and the whole car started to sputter and shake. October 3 2022, I took it in and they "fixed" it by giving me yet another oil change (making it a total of 4 oil changes) and changing the spark plugs. When I asked the mechanic at the dealership if he knew why it was doing what it was doing and if he knew exactly where the oil was going, he said word for word, "No, but we want you drive it around and we'll see what happens, and go from there." October 22 2022, I was driving through Snoqualmie Pass to visit family when the check engine light came on again and the whole car started to sputter even worse than the first time it did it a few weeks ago. It's currently at a different mechanic in Kirkland that actually knows what he's doing - he says the spark plugs that were just replaced are already bad, there's no oil, and it needs a new engine because the oil rings on the piston are bad. He figured out in a day what the other mechanic at the dealership couldn't be bothered with. I've tried calling the dealership and even left messages, but haven't heard back yet and it's been a week. Very disappointed in the service (or lack there of) that I've received from this place. read more

i went into the honda dealer just to get an idea of price and inventory on a crv. the salesperson couldn't have been nicer. i found the car i wanted. I told the sales manager i only wanted a 5 year contract. he gave the amount of the car and what the payments would be to which i agreed on. then i sat at a table and waited and waited for hours in the mean time the finance person can by and asked if i wanted these extra warrants which i said no. he then said it would only be $10 dollars extra a month. doing the math in my head i figured that would be an extra $ 600 and a pretty good deal so i said yes. then i waited again. by the time i got in to sign the papers i was tried and not feeling well. So i signed everything and trusted him that everything was in order. The next day when i up to looking over the contract i noted he had added 2 years and an extra $7400 to my contract. i went back the next day to talk to Ryan (the finance person) and he said he could take some of the warrants off. That was February 25th. I am still waiting for my money. In the mean time I am paying interest on this money. read more

I called on 3/8/19 for an update and they claimed it would be another week (meaning, it hadn't even left the other lot yet)... so I said I would be looking for vehicles elsewhere and would like my deposit back (they came up with all kinds of excuses why it wasn't en route yet). They claimed they could not refund that day and that I would need to call on 3/9/19 for my refund. I finally got my $500 deposit back on 3/13/19 (after calling a few times, of course). I've bought numerous vehicles over the last 30+ years, and this is the first buying experience I wasn't happy with. If they didn't have the one vehicle I wanted (late model/low mileage Odyssey) I would have walked. In the buying process they started out with how much I wanted to pay monthly, was difficult to talk about the price, and they kept going back to the monthly payment. After making a down payment I returned the next day to finalize the deal and pick up the car, only to find out about all their required add-ons to the price as well as the interest rate was significantly higher than agreed upon the previous day. The minivan didn't have a rack and no after-market ones are not available for my model so had to buy their factory rack at quite a stiff price. I took the van in for an appointment with service a week later to have the rack installed, and they had it all day, but found out that evening they didn't have the rack so I had to take time off of work and return another day. I was given three very different and conflicting stories as to where the rack was, but Myron (one of the few employees that actually seemed to care about the customer) dogged it all the way so all the parts eventually arrived. A week after installation one of their managers called requesting payment for the rack a second time; he hadn't done his homework prior to calling so I had to waste time searching my accounts for proof of payment. He called back later, oops, I was right & had already paid just like I said. I'm really not looking forward to the next 100,000 miles of service by these folks. Next time I buy a car I'll go back to Parker Toyota. read more

Not often can I leave this high of review. This dealership is a CLASS ACT . We dealt with Jennifer and her manager Shawn. We have owned a variety of Vehicles all of which we buy brand new, but who knew that a HONDA dealership of all places, with a chick salesgirl was going to impress the hell out of us. Again, We bought brand new and had to get our preferred car shipped. It was easy, thorough and quick. No gimmicks, no hidden fees, everything added up....actually our payment was less than quoted. I could have done with a different finance guy, but that was minuscule in the big picture. When we picked up the car, they had my gas tank filled (which you wouldn't believe how many dealerships bock over this) car wiped down, freshly washed and parked indoor for our arrival. Jennifer then took the time to walk us through every feature, so we could utilize all this car had to offer. Never have we had a dealership take this kind of time. I had several problems with this dealership with respect to the purchase of two used cars. One car was a Subaru and the other was a Honda. During the purchase of these cars, which lasted 6 hours, the dealer financing was done through GESA, a local credit union. I didn't think much of it until a few weeks later when I realized that I had no idea as to how to make payments on the loans. I actually had to go into a GESA office to get the loan account numbers and the payment address. The story gets progressively more ridiculous when I went to refinance the auto loans. I was told that the Subaru was worth significantly less that I had paid for it, so much so that if I wanted the new lender to take over the GESA loan, I had to pay the new lender $4,100 to bring the new loan down to 160% of value. When the dealership was asked about this difference in value, they produced a page from the Kelley Blue Book that I had never seen that was significantly different than what the new lender saw. So, I ate $4,100. I had grazed the front of the bumper about a month after the car purchase. It required new paint. Nothing on the underside of the bumper was touched during the grazing. I brought the car to a body shop to have the finish fixed. A day after I brought the car to the body shop, I got a call from the body shop, saying that there was an old crack in the bumper, that the crack would grow, and that the underside of the bumper looked as if someone, a previous owner, had ground the bumper on a sidewalk. I had the bumper replaced. When the dealership was asked about this, specifically when it was asked if it had seen the damage to the bumper before the time of sale, it replied that there was no damage, that they were sorry that I grazed my bumper (implying that I had caused the damage myself), and that I had bought the car "as is". The body shop told me that the dealership had to have seen the damage if it elevated the car to look at anything, such as the suspension. Through the Better Business Bureau, the dealership provided the original inspection report on the vehicle, and there was no mention of any damage to the bumper. I haven't bought a car in a long time, but never in my life have I seen such blatant dishonesty. I have worked in the corporate world for a long time, and I am well familiar with corporate CYA maneuvers, but this takes the prize. Not only did the dealership tell me that a second lender was wrong, it told me that a body shop was wrong as well. I cannot speak for buying a new car from this dealership, but I will never use this dealership for anything other than the service that I have prepaid again. read more
