We enjoy larson's regularly and what did we know, they do wedding cakes as well! We were thrilled to find out and we did it! The process was very easy! The tastings to the decor could not have been smoother and free of stress. They even delivered it. On top of that, on your one year anniversary, they will give you the top layer of your wedding cake, remade and free! This bakery is the best in seattle and no one beats their selection and service. Thank you so much!

My partner and I drove past Larsen's Danish Bakery earlier today and we decided to turn our car around just to see what they're all about! We love bakeries, and so when we went inside we saw a glorious amount of delicious looking baked goods throughout a lot of the display. It was hard to choose which items to get as we didn't want to fill ourselves up with pastries since we were going to get lunch right after. We ended up ordering the chocolate cinnamon roll and the chocolate croissant and it was packed nicely for us. We tried out the cinnamon roll first, but it honestly wasn't all that we were hoping for. It wasn't as soft as we wanted, and I personally thought it tasted a little burnt but my partner said that might just be the chocolate. The chocolate croissant was a lot better, but it still didn't stand out to me all that much. It was buttery and had a good taste to it, but not something I would be racing to get again. The staff were friendly and there was a good assortment of items. I think we got the wrong things, but I definitely want to come back again here to try out the other stuff that they have. Will be back at some point!

Larson's bakery has changed the recipe over the years on a couple of my favorites that being the apple fritters and the old fashioned donuts. Now the flavor is there but the best word I can use to describe is overcooked. These things are actually hard on the edges and they're not supposed to be. Almost like 2 days old. Now I say this in comparison to Aurora donuts which are superior in every way soft melt in your mouth delicious but I was very disappointed at this experience with Larson's and a petty for which I have yet to have I've never been disappointed with that but three pieces cost me $13 which is exuberant to say the least but I paid it but since I am moving today I won't be going back. They have plenty of other goodies that are probably not overcooked in the Apple Danish looked really good and I should have gotten that. I will say watch out for their coffee prices because they're between 6 and $10 mostly to get a decent coffee and that's ridiculous I won't pay it. This is not our Dad's or moms Larson's bakery. And I would also like to add that they did not have any marzipan slices ready to go early at 9:30. And that is one of my favorites one of the best things they have and they didn't have any and that was a disappointment but again I will not be coming back here.

We love this bakery place! The pastries were so delicious and different options. The almond croissant was the best one I had, so much filling! It was very satisfying.

Seattle has bakeries, but most are not open early, early in the morning. This one is. I was heading to Edmonds from Queen Anne for an early morning meeting and Larsens Danish Bakery was open. I put the bakery on my GPS and arrived. The place was all lit up at 6:00 am. No lines, picture windows of the whole kitchen. They have good coffee and they have good pastry. I bought a day old package which had an assortment of danishes (Lemon, chocolate croissant, almond danish, almond croissant and some braided cherry roll- all good and tasty, lasted the whole day). Parking is on the street with ample places to park.

Delicious, incredible, a staple and a must!! Favorites from here are their rye loaf, fruit danish (any of them) and the savory pastries, like ham & cheese croissant. Also recently tried the Fattigmann - they look like little bread stick twists but have a delightful cardamom flavor that's not too sweet and perfect for snacking on, alone or with tea. As there is so much to choose from, try to get something new every visit! Long lines can form, and they do run out of things, but like moves quickly, the staff is friendly/helpful/knowledgeable, and you really can't go wrong in your selections. You can stand outside and see what's happening in the large kitchen.

We both enjoyed our croissants and cookies. My partner also liked his latte and we felt everything was very very reasonably priced. They had a lot of selection too which was helpful. The staff were efficient and there were plenty of spots to sit by the windows but we opted to grab and go eat at golden gardens. Everything was packaged well and in tact when we munched it. Would recommend and come back!

The shop is tiny and there were three women behind the counter. One was stocking, one grabbed our orders while the other rang it up. Everything went quick and smooth. Was in line for less than 10 minutes. Ask for a knife and fork to cut them up to share. We ordered the beef and cheese, the beef and onion, the Smoked salmon bake, and the sausage with cheddar and jalapeno. We each got to sample each other's orders. Favorite was the Sausage roll. The beef and onion was very greasy and the pastry got mushy pretty quickly. There is no place to sit so we found a counter to quickly divy up the orders and walked around while eating. I wish there was seating or high tables at least.

The line can get pretty long, but it moves quickly. Here's what I've tried: Cinnamon Cardamom: 5/5 - This is my favorite pastry here. I love the cinnamon flavor and the chewy texture of the bread. Chocolate Cream Hazelnut: 4/5 - Really good. The bread is soft, and the hazelnut flavor is delicious, but the filling had more of a pudding like texture. Beef and Cheese: 4/5 - Savory and delicious. The filling reminded me of a beef empanada. Smoked Salmon Pate: 3/5 - I didn't really like this one. I enjoy smoked salmon, so I thought I would, but the flavor just wasn't for me. The prices are on the expensive side. I'm used to paying $3-$4 for pastries at Asian bakeries in Los Angeles, so spending $7-$8 per pastry took some getting used to.

The croissant was on the crispier side, especially with the almond crumble on top it was a bit too cripsy for me, but I tend to like soft and flakey pastries so it's probably a matter of taste. There was a TON of almond filling in the middle. I enjoyed the taste and texture but it was too much filling for me personally. I would have liked more croissant in my croissant, so to say haha. The chocolate was slightly dark which worked well with the sweet pastry and filling! Overall I enjoyed the croissant but it was a tad too heavy on the filling and cripsy/crunchy for me.

They have so many yummy options, but I settled on a mushroom and Gruyère pastry and an earl grey blueberry cruffin. The mushroom and Gruyère pastry was SO good!!! Buttery flaky layers of dough with a strong earthy mushroom flavor and savory cheese - an absolute umami bomb. We ate it the day after and threw it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes, and it was so delicious. The cruffin was huge! Topped with a delicious light Earl grey cream that wasn't too sweet. It was filled with a blueberry cream and was definitely very filling. There's a lot of sugar coating it, as is standard with cruffins, but it's a nice sweet treat.
