I've come here a few times for their pasties, but today I came to try their pesto caprese sandwich. I asked for balsamic on the side as I wasn't going to eat it right away. I couldn't resist their s'mores cookie. So I got that as well. It's Friday and I've earned it this week! Sandwich bread was good. It's a hard crust and soft inside. Nice schmear of their pesto. A little arugula and 3 slices of mozzarella cheese. The tomatoes came on the side too so as not to make the bread soggy. Thank you for that. Balsamic is a thick glaze. And they gave me a lot in a small container. I did heat my sandwich up in an oven and that just made it so much better. As I got the end of the sandwich, I bit down on something that didn't seem right, and when I took it out, I noticed it was part of the large toothpick that held everything together. I think the toothpick was put in upside down. I took a picture to show what it was. The S'mores cookie was delicious. I should have cut it in half for later, but I powered through it. I heated it in the oven just enough to melt the chocolate a little. Soft, gooey marshmallows. Customer service was on point. I was greeted and complimented, wow! Thank you ladies, your kindness made my day. They have a couple marked parking spots right up front. A couple tables and chairs inside. And a couple tables and chairs outside too.

I was in search a piece of dessert and Yelp led me to Latin Bakery Austin. It is at the intersection of Highway 620 and 2222. The bakery features Peruvian bakery treats both sweet and savory. They are known for authentic Latin American flavors. According my very enthusiastic server, Latin Bakery's popular items are Tres Leches Cake, Red Velvet Parfait, and Alfajores (shortbread cookies with dulce de leche). Another standout is the carrot cake, which I selected for my hubby. Another bakery favorite includes the chocolate cake. They also have a selection of empanadas (spinach & ricotta, beef, and Aji chicken) and the Peruvian Butifarra sandwich. Will have to return to try these... My server gave me two samples - brownie cookie and alfajore. I fell completely in love with the alfajore and bought one. The dulce de Leche was distinctive but not overly sweet as I was expecting. I savored every bite of the cookie...so stinking good! My hubby loved the carrot cake - spices, denseness and succulent frosting. It was early in the morning, so a very chill vibe,

Love this cute little bakery right off 2222, especially because they have my wife's favorite treat Alfajores cookies. They actually have mini and large alfajor cookies, and an alfajor cake too! Delicious! But a little sweet too. Also the flan was a little on the stiffer side, but I'll definitely come back to try them all again (especially since this is on my way home from work!).

Ordered two cakes for pickup for a party, and everything was perfect! The cakes were individually boxed and ready for pickup on time. Both were so pretty and delicious. The carrot cake was perfectly textured and the ideal mix of spice and sweet, and the chocolate was full-bodied and rich and seemed to only get better with time. Definitely more than enough for our 11 person party to feast on for a couple days. The location is hard to spot from the road, but if you turn in at HEB or Target you can wind through the parking lot to get there.

Friend and I stopped in on the way out of town(for me) back in October. The store is was full of pastries. It was hard to choose, everything looked great.

I had to try this little hidden gem hiding by the Four Points Target shopping center. The owners are Puerto Rican and all their stuff has a Latin twist hence Latin Bakery. It does have some outdoor seating and the inside is cute little small spot. Met up with a friend and our babies for morning coffee. They have variety of sweets and i just wish i could have tasted them ALL. My Weakness called me and i had to try their passion fruit cheesecake. I really loved it just enough sweetness and tartness. It was a little on the thicker and denser side cheesecake but it was still amazing. I love that they offer Oat and Almond milk for the coffee for those of us who can't stomach regular milk. They do have daily fresh croissants and baguette which is game changer. Will have to go back and try something else. Highly recommend it if you in the area.

Mixed Dessert Experience, But Will Try Again! With so many great reviews on Google and a recommendation from my favorite food blogger, I was really excited to try this place. The service was very nice, and they had a lot of variety on the menu. Since we were already pretty full when we arrived, we just ordered desserts--Pistachio Tres Leches Parfait and Lemon Cake. The Tres Leches Parfait was just average, especially for $8. I did like the Lemon Cake a bit more, but it still didn't quite meet my expectations. I've had their Tres Leches cake before when they were running the business from home, and it was amazing--so I'm not sure if it was just the specific item I ordered this time, or maybe an off day in the kitchen. Either way, I'll definitely give them another try. I know they're capable of better!

It's a cute little shop set up well with Alfajores!!! Yeah I love those things!!! So I had to visit!! The people are so nice and helpful. I had a beef empanada Peruvian style. The crust is more of a cornbread type of crust... they warmed it up for me. :) I'm not used to that type of crust but the beef filling had a good flavor!! I may have to eat two or more next time I stop by!! And I took a chocolate covered alfajor home for the next coffee/tea break.

Stopped in again for a smattering of confectionery samples. Everything is excellent. They were out of the Tres leches which I think is the best but apparently, so does everyone else. The passionfruit cheesecake was really good. Never had that before. Love stopping here for dessert. Of course there's also sandwiches if you want to stop for lunch.

I truly already thought I gave this place five stars! They are extremely welcoming and kind. Their desserts are fabulous! So many unique flavors. I love that they have gluten-free and vegan free options. Everything is truly delicious. I cannot decide on a favorite a must stop when visiting Austin.

This place has it all. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. One of the workers saw me struggling to get my stroller in the door and courteously came over to help me in the door. The place itself is small and cozy but there were many customers that came through and the workers knew many by name and their favorite orders. I think the employee's name was Val and she helped me pick out different things to try. I ordered the Butifarra sandwich, a spinach empanada, the coconut flan, the mixed berry matcha cake, and pistachio almond. This bakery is about 30 mins away from me so I had to make it count. The sandwich is made to order and they warmed up the empanada. The sandwich was incredibly fresh and delicious. I will go back just for that. The spinach empanada had a bold flavor that was very salty and delicious. The pastries were mostly for my husband as those are his favorite combinations. Out of those, he loved the coconut flan and I liked the pistachio croissant the best. Everything was very light and fresh!

    Halloween cake pops

I ordered an assortment of cookies, brownies, and cake pops that needed to be individually wrapped for a school function. They don't usually do this but after a quick call they were more than willing to accommodate me. I was really impressed by their service and of course, how delicious everything was. I will definitely be back!

My husband and I originally ordered 2 of the plain churros to share, but we ended up getting two extra orders of this after our first order because they were that good. This is a small food truck with only one person working in it, so be patient but the churros are definitely worth the wait. Service was friendly! I got the Matcha-Cha off the seasonal menu, which had a great balance of matcha flavor and lightly sweet strawberry ice cream. The roasted walnuts added a really nice break in texture, which I loved. My husband ordered the Campfire with added ice cream, which was rich and very chocolaty. The charred marshmallow on top was a great touch and made it extra indulgent. Overall, a great late night dessert stop with solid flavors and friendly service. Definitely worth checking out when you're craving something sweet!

There wasn't a line (it was a pretty hot day) so we managed to order quickly. We opted to split the Black Betty. It was huge!! I loved the blackberry sauce and fruit mixed in with the cream and sugar. This is one big dessert so I'm glad we shared it - honestly would be worth splitting a whole one amongst a few people unless you have a big sweet tooth! The staff were really quick with the order. There's ample seating by the truck which is probably nice for part of the year, but we were suffering on a hot summer day. Gordough's is one of those places that fully commits to indulgence. I was able to place my order online and schedule for pick up. The order was ready when I arrived. Parking was a bit challenging and the lot was full and they charge for parking. Service was quick, casual, just good energy and fast turnaround. I ordered my tried and true Miss Shortcake with their famous cake donut with cream cheese icing and fresh cut strawberries. The donut is so indulgent and was served warm with the most delectable flavor combinations. Tried the Son of a Peach with cream cheese icing, spiced peach filling, cake mix topping, cinnamon and sugar with honey butter. This one was a bit too overindulgent and sweet for my liking but was definitely worth a try. Portions are huge and can be shared as the donut is not as good warmed over. If you're in the mood for dessert and not think about calorie count, then this is the place.

The staff were friendly when we got our drinks, but the exchange was brief. The space, though, is super Instagrammable with lots of playful decor. Parking is a little tight out front, with some extra spots along the side street. I ordered the crème brûlée taro milk tea with boba, and my husband got the regular crème brûlée milk tea with boba. Flavor-wise it was good, but my drink had a lot happening texture-wise. Between the crystallized sugar, grainy taro, and boba, it caught me by surprise. Once everything was mixed together, it was fine, just not my favorite. Still a fun spot with creative drinks, and I'd be open to trying something else next time!

Even so, the ambience seems like the decorations were cute, but very cheap and damaged overtime with little to no repairs. But I didn't come here for aesthetics. I came here for great Boba tea and sweet treats. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. What looked like a traditional milk toast dessert, was literally four pieces of stale bread, toasted and stacked on top of each other. that tasted freezer burnt with lots of sauce on top. No topping between each layer so it was not flavorful or tasty and all you could taste was a weird chemical flavor from the bread. Same thing with the ice cream, so freezer burnt that it tasted of chemicals, cardboard, and didn't even melt despite sitting on the plate for 15+ minutes. The Taro tea itself was fine with the crème brûlée topping, but the brown sugar Boba had the same chemical "going bad" flavor to it. It was super hard and bitter tasting instead of sweet. The soufflé pancakes were fine, but the ice cream was terrible on that too. It's hard to mess up Ice Cream, but somehow they managed.
