if you're in the area, this restaurant is a MUST! every time I'm in the area i stop by. i usually order the churrasco steak meal which is mouthwatering. you definitely have to eat it with the green chimichurri sauce. once added to the top of the steak and it feels like heaven in your mouth. i also get rice and black beans on the side which is equally great. the way they season their black beans is quite unique. the bread they give at the beginning of the meal is buttered to perfection. If you still have room, try the chicken empanadas! it's the cherry on the top that's a must! my cousin recommended this place to me and i was not disappointed. on the next visit i brought friends from out of town & they left with happy bellies! read more

Great food and reasonable. The kids loved the shredded beef, I loved my skirt steak and we were impressed by the creole shrimp. I was concerned that they would use bait size shrimp( sorry the place has that kind of feel) but the were plump and cooked perfectly. We got the Quattro leche bc they were out of the tres leche. We didn't even order any food because the moment I walked in the staff stared at my family and I like we didn't belong in their 'restaurant' we didn't even get a hello or any type of welcome, we were basically invisible... asked for a menu to take a look, they just pointed to where they were.. not trying to interest us in staying to order anything, they made us feel so awkward and unwanted so we left. I went to Latin Bohemia Grill on Friday night based on the reviews I read here. We were a group if 10 people and all enjoyed our meals. The staff could not have been nicer - our waiter had a lot of patience and answered all our questions and kept our water glasses and beer filled. We started with a bunch of appetizers - the empanadas were all delicious but the tamales were a bit bland. I had the special fish ceviche that was good if a bit salty. My husband had the special fish seafood that was delicious. The fried yucca was the best I've had in a long time and the fried pork, though it looked dry was actually delicious. For dessert, we ended up trying almost everything on the menu. The 4 milk was super sweet and very yummy, the flan was tasty but a bit dense for our taste and the rice pudding was perfect. If I hadn't have searched on Yelp I never would have found this gem. I go to Florida regularly and will be adding Latin Bohemia to my list of regular joints. read more

I eat here a few times each month and it is some of the best latin food that I can find. They are very consistent and I swear that their black beans are the best you'll ever try. I tend to eat the vaca frita or the chincaron de pollo. Their empenadas are a good late lunch snack. The espresso will put hair on your chest. read more

This is a great, cheap, and quick place. I workout at a gym very near by and frequently grab dinner here post workout. They have awesome plantains, ropas viejas, and lomo saltado. The staff is very nice, and the food usually comes out in less than 7 minutes. Portions are also very generous, especially considering the prices. read more

We were looking to try Cuban food as we got off the plane from California last Sunday. We came to Latin Bohemia based on the Yelp reviews. Upon entering, we were greeted by Angela. She was very friendly and attentive. Because we never had Cuban food before, we asked Angela for some suggestions. The Churrasco (skirt steak) with dipping sauce and Yuka Frita (fried cassava) were da bomb!! We sat and waited 15 mins before a very sad, plate arrived. One piece of lettuce with one slice of tomato, a thin slice of chicken breast and a plastic cup of dressing. Waitress walks by takes the order of a table next to us after she's done and I ask her for her attention , she looks and me and turns back around with her back to me. Request for her again and she gives me a huge nasty response to wait. She walks over with a even more nasty look and I tell her we've been waiting for 10 mins and would like to order. The inside looks like a Cuban cafeteria, but the excellent food, a pleasant and knowledgeable staff, and a good selection made this place the tops. The empanadas (we had beef, ham, and guava cheese) were each delicious. The pastry was crisp, not too greasy, doughy or sweet, and held the fillings perfectly. The beef was nicely spiced and had carrots and peppers mixed in. The ham and cheese was moist, perfectly salty and well stuffed. The guava and cheese was cream cheese and a nice piece of guava, and could have been a dessert at the best restaurants in the country. The Bohemia Especial sandwich was very flavorful with the sliced chorizo and ample pickles in addition to nicely roasted pork and two kinds of ham. Be careful with the Cuban sandwich. It doesn't have any pickles in it, but it says so on the menu. Don't assume they will be on there; you must request them. We also had the Chicken and Yellow Rice special. It had more food than we could eat in two meals. The chicken was moist and chickeny-tasting; the yellow rice was flavorful with mild spices. However, the side of fried yucca was the star of my plate and was the only item that did not make it home as leftovers in any way, shape or form. The Cuban Coffee is potent, and with the leche perfectly poured and steamed so that when you poured the coffee in, it didn't overflow. It would have made a fantastic dessert on its own, but what made a better dessert was dessert - the homemade rice and vanilla puddings, each was delicious and well worth a try, especially if you have never had Cuban puddings before. So glad we did, we got there around 11:15am and the waitress informed us that lunch starts at 11:30am but we were welcomed to order breakfast if we wanted. Our order consisted of a chorizo omelette with spanish style breakfast potatoes, churrasco steak with tostones, and roja vieja with congri as well as a mamey shake and a cafe con leche. Overall the portions were generous, prices were reasonable, servers were attentive and food was great. Definitely a place to try for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
