Horrible service, had to wait 20 mins just to get a waiter to come to the table, took another 45 mins to get the food to the table. I asked the waiter to get us a box and the bill and that took him another 20 mins to just get bill and I had to go to the back and grab the box myself because I didn't want to wait another 10 mins when the box was like 10 feet away from me. As a company owner that is in the service industry, I know the importance of customer service. This restaurant begs to differ. I have personally visited this establishment to pick up food and only to see the staff glance over customers at their own pace. Answer phone calls while ignoring patrons that are there waiting for service. No professionalism or common courtesy for paying customers. The food is great but the service is poor. I have been there when packed and when there is only a handful of people in the restaurant. My advice to customers, eat a snack before you visit. To this establishment, you have missed out on a large account that I will gladly give to a more deserving company. read more

Returned to at here after a long hiatus due to bad service, and unfortunately the hiatus have to continue indefinitely. Server was okay (young male), but the food was not. Ordered the grilled fish, first go around it was still raw. The other individuals in my party got their food, I tasted my daughter's rice and noticed it wasn't hot. My husband got through most of his food, but stopped before finishing as I still had not gotten my food. Asked for the side order of tostones we originally ordered but didn't come out with the rest of the food while I waited, those were a disappointment. They were thick, and although that's not usually a problem they were not cooked through, still very raw plantain colored on the inside. Finally got my food, but the fishy smell got to me and I didn't eat it, it did come out looking like a toasted pancake, so if that rings your bell for fish then ; sorry wasn't mine and the fish didn't look or smell palatable. I tried the rice and beans, but my rice was also cooler than room temperature, and made me wonder if it was reheated from yesterday (didn't finish the side dish). Also, generally "Grilled/ala plancha" dishes come with onions and parsley as a topping; this dish came out naked, except for a quarter sliver of lime. Overall, food experience was poor, would not recommend this place, and would suggest you get your Cuban food craving elsewhere (sorry I know they can be hard to come by in Broward)... read more

This is a really solid Cuban diner. Food was fresh and healthy (we ordered the pollo juliana) and avocado salad. We really enjoyed our meal and we will go back. The price point is right too. We had a beer, glass of wine, shared the pollo juliana, and the avocado salad and the bill was right around 19 bux. This was plenty of food for the two of us because you get 2 sides with the chicken. Don't skip the fried plantains either - they were done just right. We went around 8pm and the place was pretty empty, so if you want a bit more activity and want a little hustle and bustle, go for lunch - the place is packed. The ONLY thing that would give this place 5 starts is the ambiance. It is what it is - a diner - and a super clean and functional eating space with great food. And again, if you want a bit more ambiance, I think seeing the place packed during lunch would do it. However, we enjoyed chatting with our waitress and there is no way she would have had time to chat us up if we went during lunch. Take the time to go here and you will get a good meal at a really fair price and will want to go back. read more

I pass this place everyday on my way to work and was curious about it until me and my bf decided to order food from here and we've been back soo many times since! It's awesome it's affordable and the portions are more than great. I've tried the ropa vieja, churrasco, tostones rellenos, and chicharrón de pollo all have been exactly what I was looking for! I liked it... typical latin food but everything was tasty. Not expensive. I got chicken steak kids split a palomilla and a chicken soup. the two of them ate everything which should speak for itself because getting them to eat is always a fight. The chicken steak was thin which is the way i prefer and i tasted the palomilla and it was super tender. Restaurant is roomy spacious well lit and clean. The service was good and prompt. Overall a good latin restaurant at the right price. Like arnold says... ill be back. read more

We've visited the Ft. Lauderdale are multiple times and haven't found a place that satisfies my Venezuelan husband's standards for good Latin food. This was definitely the exception. I am from Boston and when I visit my Dad in Pompano I make it a must to have breakfast or lunch at the Latin Bohemia. I have never had a bad meal here. The eggs are alwals fresh, the soups are spiced perfectly. I would recomend the Bohemia to anyone. read more

We had lunch at the Latin Bohemia Grill today it was recomended by a friend of mine that works for the FBI and was here on an assigment. The food was very good, we had the pescado a lo macho and pescado al grill, also the seafood soup was excelent the food in general was very good, except for the tostones that were old and dry. The prices are very reasonable, on the low side I will say. The service was not that great, our waitress t was rude and not putting too much attention to her job. read more
