I live in Fairbanks and went to Latitude 65's pub to try their pub menu. The main dining room is gorgeous and all living in or coming to Fairbanks should go there as a special occasion restaurant. It's truly gorgeous. The pub is a more casual space. The food is less expensive than the main dining room. The views are still beautiful. We had fantastic service from our server, Toni who was not only a great and attentive server but she was also cheerful and really a joy! I highly recommend that Fairbanks locals make the trek up here. This is a much nicer restaurant setting than anything in Fairbanks!

Delicious food. Plenty of dietary accommodations for breakfast, lunch and dinner and both the restaurant and the pub. One of us had celiac so we got both a sourdough bread starter and a gluten free bread starter, which was incredibly nice of them. All the servers were fantastic, personable, prompt and kind. Nice cozy environment with gorgeous views whether you're sitting at the window or in the middle.

Incredible in all the aspects! Our server Toni was very friendly, attentive and we got to chat a lot about the restaurant and the dishes. We stayed at BBC for three nights and had a chance to try all the cocktails. Phenomenal flavors. The food was super delicious. Beautiful presentation. Who would have thought! We had a chance to meet an executive chef George and thanked him for our meals. I would highly recommend staying at BBC and dining at their restaurant. Looking forward to come back in a year or two.

This is only dining option offered on the premise. Overall it was a great experience. I think folks should come here expecting this restaurant and its quality of food to be closer to a semi fine dining experience for dinner. The restaurant is farm to table and prices are reflective of all of this, too. Booking: We only had dinner here, which is by reservation only. You can call the front desk to book. They do also serve breakfast and lunch and that you do not need a reservation. We did see the prices for the restaurant ahead of time on tripadvisor, and so our expectations coming in were appropriately set knowing it would be $25-90 per entree. Food: 1. Complimentary bread and butter Amazing. Homemade and warm sliced bread with butter. There were some notes of garlic and the crust was perfectly crisp. The host raved about the bread and we agreed, it was a great. 2. Roasted beet salad If you are a fan a beet salads then you will like this dish. The honey Dijon vinaigrette was really good. 3. Soup of the day: Bison & Reindeer chili For folks looking to try reindeer for the first time then, I would not recommend this dish. The chili flavor profiles (e.g tomato) will mask the standalone meat flavor so it will be challenging to really "try" and taste reindeer. Maybe go for the reindeer sausage entree if that really is your goal. However, the bison/reindeer meat itself was nice and tender and the dish was not watery. Overall I finished this dish with an impression that it was like a standard bowl of chili; nothing special or disappointing about it. 4. Latitude65 Burger Solid burger, we got the patty cooked medium. This is the most affordable entree on the menu and it didn't disappoint. The potatoe side was just okay though. Be aware the burger was on the smaller side for folks who may have a larger appetite. 5. Mushrooms and squash risotto This was our favorite dish of the night. Creamy and rich. The mushrooms flavors really did stand out. 6. Special pasta: halibut (60$) The halibut was very tender and cut into cubes in the dish. They were quite generous with the amount of fish in the dish. The dish itself had a great flavor balance where you could taste each ingredient and it wasn't just the fish leading the way to make it taste great. Second favorite dish of the night. Drinks: They do offer a drink menu, didn't get a picture of this but it includes cocktails, beers and wine. The cocktail menu is also available at the lounge in front of the restaurant. Beers include options from Alaskan breweries and the cocktails included some options that fit the winter theme of basecamp such as mulled wine or hot butter rum. Service: Friendly and attentive staff. Warning: there is a charge to share/split a dish. Otherwise, expect each person to order one item.

Exceptional. Ate here several nights and was always delighted. Hats off to Chef George.

Food is ok! Good service but head waiter needs to be friendlier! He came off as stiff & strict! VERY EXPENSIVE!!

Because we were the first few in the door, our entrees arrived sooner than others who came after. I was disappointed with the Thai iced tea, it lacked tea flavor and was more of condensed, excessively sweetened milk drink. I could only finish 1/2 and poured out the rest . We ordered 3 dishes and the portions were generous such that we had leftovers the next day. 1. Veggie Tom Yum Soup - was OK but I've had others with better flavor and wouldn't order this again. 2. Chicken pad Thai was the best dish of the bunch but it was very skinny rice noodles. It tasted better as next day leftovers after the flavors marinated overnight. 3. Pork green curry was watery and not green but looked more yellow. We had yellow curry at a Thai restaurant days earlier and thought that curry tasted more authentic and wasn't watery. Overall nice staff with average food.

The staff in the restaurant were nice and we were able to get seated right away during dinner hours. The decor inside was very simple and casual. We ended up ordering chicken satay and egg rolls as appetizers, which both were decent. For entrees, we ordered pineapple fried rice (which you have to ask them to add pineapple to the fried rice item on the menu), beef massaman curry, tom kha gai soup (one with coconut milk), and drunken noodles with chicken. All the entrees were also pretty decent and flavorful, although I did find most of them to be on the saltier side. The meat in the massaman curry did also taste super soft but almost in a canned meat kind of way. We were also served water but everyone in our group felt like the water tasted weird, almost like there was some kind of cleaning supply or chlorine type after taste. We saw that they put lemons but there were no lemon taste in the water. We were all concerned by the taste and ended up not drinking any of the water (despite the food being salty and we really needed some). Overall, not a bad spot outside of the water situation, but not a spot I'd necessarily recommend given the price of dishes and value.

The restaurant ambiance is very simple and nothing fancy, but it is spacious and comfortable. When we first arrived it was not very busy, but by the time we left it had filled up. We also noticed lots of pickup orders, which says a lot about its popularity. The food was good overall, with several dishes that stood out. For appetizers we ordered the potstickers, which were just okay and not very memorable. The calamari was unique and came in a rectangular shape, almost like mozzarella sticks. I had never seen calamari served that way before, but they were actually good. The fried chicken wings were a highlight, hot, crispy, and very enjoyable. The ranch was delicious and tasted homemade with herbs. For our main dishes the beef bulgogi came out on a sizzling plate and was very flavorful. The chicken katsu was nicely crispy with good seasoning, and the short ribs were also served sizzling with a yummy, almost teriyaki style sauce that we really enjoyed. The orange chicken with rice was good, though fairly standard. One dish that pleasantly surprised me was the japchae. It was my first time trying it and I loved the glass noodles and how fresh the vegetables tasted. Overall KC's Kitchen offers solid, comforting food with several standout dishes. While not everything was a wow, we left satisfied and would definitely come back if we are in Fairbanks again.
