One of our favorite newer spots in Naples. The service is top notch and the food is outstanding. Mostly Asian fare, with lots of unique twists. They also have an excellent cocktail and wine menu. The decor inside is wonderful, the bar is a little swanky, and they have a nice patio.

We had been wanting to try le colonial for a while and decided to save it for a special occasion. Our 24th wedding anniversary. We did make reservations and requested the lounge area. We ended up sitting at the bar which is always our preference. The decor is warm and inviting. Laura and a young man from Colombia whose name escapes me now, were our bartenders. I will say that from the moment we were greeted at the hostess stand the service was great! There was a fan over our seats at the bar that was on very high-speed and it was making it very cold, they immediately adjusted it upon request. We had the chicken and mushroom ravioli, which is absolutely full of all sorts of flavor and made with thin rice paper. We had the dumplings and the fried rice, which were also wonderfully delicious. For cocktails I had the French kiss and my husband had the smoked old-fashioned. Both were well made. We truly enjoyed the service, the ambiance and the flavors and we will be planning our next visit.

Le Colonial in Naples is absolutely stunning -- the interior and patio are both gorgeous, but the outdoor seating is especially worth it. The ambiance alone makes it a must-visit. We started with the summer rolls and beet salad, both super fresh and flavorful. I had the pho for my main, and it was perfectly portioned with rich, delicious broth. A beautiful spot for a relaxing and elegant meal! The service was also great.

My husband and I came here for dinner one night and had a wonderful experience. We were sat on the patio with our reservation, but the inside and outside of the restaurant were beautiful. The food was delicious! We ordered the curry based on other yelp reviews, but it actually was our least favorite thing (lacked some flavor). The ravioli was our favorite thing we ordered!!

Def will return. High ceiling, fresh flowers and greens, lush retro decor, brass bars, Parisian red, Asian portraits, Vietnamese water scenery painting anchors the main dinning hall, lovely bar, chopstick rests, wonderful music - Ella Fitzgerald lovely, the panels of leaves line the narrow hall to the bathroom ... nicely done. Good service. The first thing the server did as she greeting us, was gently checked the table's balance. We've Beet salad Ribs Beef rolls / raviolis They're all delicious but I prefer the first two. The beef rolls are delicious but too much meat - this is picking bones among the eggs. I like their chopsticks: if you can reuse it, do take it with you. They're of good quality and beautiful. Thank you.

A wonderful elegant and casual setting, we ate on the patio. The service was attentive and the food was fantastic. The green curry shrimp came with a warning: it was hot/spicy/beware!. I chose it and it needed the warning! and was delicious paired with some extra sticky coconut rice. The ribs were meaty and tasty, everything delish. All in all an enjoyable lunch time.

Food is beautifully presented and always delicious. Drinks, fabulous. Ambiance is so beautiful and romantic. Service is pretty good. Favorite restaurant in SWFL. We go sometimes just for dessert & excellent cappuccino. Book far in advance!

    Beet salad - very good!

This is where I took my wife for dinner the night we got engaged. It will always hold a special place in our hearts. We try to get back at 6 months or so because it's sooooo good and the service is always incredible. Our favorite dishes are the fried rice and yellow curry but everything is amazing! I love the old Cuban cocktail and the Colonial.

This is my third Le Colonial location in the last decade. With the others being San Francisco and Chicago. While I'm ecstatic to see elevated Asian cuisine (specifically Vietnamese) in the heart of Naples. Some of the items feel like failed attempts. Many of the dishes are overpriced for the portion you receive. This was our first time having lunch. It was over $100 a person at $460+ for the items sele below. Drinks - le colonial rose was good as were the various (pricey) cocktails we tried Apps - egg rolls (tasty), lotus salad, beef carpaccio, ravioli Entrees - shaking beef (portion size was definitely disappointing...as someone else noted, it's more like a salad than an entree), chicken curry (on the sweeter side but enjoyable) Sides - garlic noodles (little too sweet and overcooked noodles), garlic green beans (disappointing, not much flavor) Service was very pleasant but quite slow at times. Ambiance was amazing and probably the reason LC gets four stars instead of 3.

He had us taste two that might suit us. We selected one and we truly enjoyed the entire bottle. The food has always been exceptional. My companion ordered a chicken dish. I don't quite remember the name, but there wasn't a crumb on his plate when he was done. I ordered the short ribs and they were melt in your mouth. It was accompanied with carrots and mashed potatoes with gravy. I forgot to mention that we ordered the scallops as an appetizer. I can't even say enough about how delicious they were. Lastly, we ordered the cheesecake. I am from New York and I love cheesecake but I don't like the commercial juniors cheesecake. As I understand it, the cheesecake we had was not made of ricotta, but you wouldn't know it. It was melt in your mouth superb. Two of my friends that were with me loved it. I will never stop going to El Basque and I highly recommend you try!

The French beet salad with lentils was a classic, bistro-style dish that perfectly balances the earthy sweetness of beets with the peppery bite of firm French green lentils and there was also fennel and rich yummy cheese. 2 of us were able to make same day reservations for a Sunday early evening dinner…read more SERVICE: Andreana was our server for the evening. She was friendly, attentive and pleasant when we asked to move our table to one a little farther away from the greenery, where a few no-see-ums were pesky. Our water glasses were frequently topped off and it was refreshing to be able to order apps without having to order the entree at the same time. She even brought us cushions as the chairs are a bit deep. BAR: Cosmo was well made, average size, pricey at $22.50. House white was an average pour, reasonable for $12. FOOD: The chicken liver was tasty and cooked perfectly. The onion soup was just ok, $16. It was a bit bland, but the biggest issue was the size and toughness of some of the onions. They were the outer part of the onion and were larger than typical in onion soup. The cheese was flavorful. I would have preferred a half portion, as the app size is huge and soup isn't an app that is easily shared. The Boeuf Bourguignon was flavorful and tender, but again, way too much of it. The accompaniment was scallop potatoes. I'd recommend mashed to make use of the yummy gravy in the bowl. The Veggies were bright and tender, but served in a bowl so challenging to cut up. ATMOSPHERE: It is pretty seating outdoors. The piano player was a really nice touch, adding to the charm. There are no-see-ums, so if you are someone who they seem to target, I'd recommend some type of bug repellent if you are going to sit indoors.

The first couple years we moved to Naples, this was my go to seafood restaurant (for date night,…read moreNYE, guest visits, etc). Absolutely love the Chilean sea bass. Last couple of years, we have been going to new restaurants in the area with varying results. My niece sent me a gift certificate for Christmas since she remembered when I brought her here with her family. I am glad she did since it reminded me how delicious the food is and how attentive the servers/staff are. We started with appetizers (foil gras and caprese salad). For our main entrees, I ordered the halibut special, and my husband got the seafood risotto. Both were delicious. Though I preferred the Chilean sea bass, the halibut was cooked well (buttery, flaky, etc) and came with lighter sides than the Chilean sea bass. The risotto was creamy with lots of seafood. Very good selection of wines by the glass. Overall, we had a very good meal and a pleasant evening. Since we didn't came here for their early dining specials, the check total was a bit pricey but is within reason for a 5th avenue restaurant. We Will definitely come back again.

Perhaps the most unique and forgettable meal I have ever had in US! I arrived in Naples Friday…read moreevening and was craving for food. Head to fifth ave. Unfortunately many restaurants there were fully seated and fortunately I got one in Bistro 821. I sat next to a couple and they asked me to join them soon after I just ordered my food. It was the second time that I was invited to have meal with strangers but the first time that I actually did that!!! Nervous at first but it turned out to be unforgettable. We chatted everything from food, sports, cities, cars, to more serious things like human and AI. They also recommended several sightseeing spots around the town so I really appreciate it! For food, I got the wagyu sirloin pot roast as entree. Good but not awesome. It came with two huge pieces and a scoop of mashed potatoes and two carrots and green beans. The meat was OK, the sauce was a bit too thick and I thought it was not a good idea to put both savory and sweet sauce on the meat. The mashed potatoes could be creamier. I did like the veggies as they were not oily, nor overly seasoned, thus paired well with the already-heavy meat and sauce. I also got a side of asparagus and it was good. Complimentary bread was delicious. When I finished my entree, the husband just suggested that we get some dessert. So.... After nearly 2 years without sweet food, I finally got some dark chocolate cake with ice cream. An amazing experience! Even though the food was not as good as I expected I should still give it 5 stars lol
