I chose this place initially bc it is close to me and they deliver. Their prices are reasonable too! I was worried about it being too rich and sweet, but it was perfect amount of sweetness. The cake was very light and so was the mousse. There is a chocolate glaze outside the cake which was so pretty and not too heavy. My boyfriend ordered some type of chicken crepe burrito sandwich (cannot remember the name), but the chicken was over cooked and I spit it out after one bite. He said it was good though. I just don't like the taste of over cooked chicken. I got the Oreo cake slice. It's pretty hard to mess up Oreo cake but it tasted like they didn't put any sugar in it. Was very bland and tasteless. This place use to be good. I purchased all of my fruit tart cakes here . Last Friday, I purchased a large fruit tart for my in laws bday celebration and not a single person said it was good . I don't know what happened . To be fair this is the first time I purchased the large. In the past I only purchased the medium size which had more fruits. As for the customer service it was bad! I walked in to 1 young lady & a lady who might have been the manager/ owner . I asked the lady to add "happy birthday". She did . but, never showed me because she was busy looking over at the young ladies customer who was ordering individual pastries. I felt as if my order did not matter she made herself busy correcting and making faces to her poor employee who was helping the other customer. She then charged me . We ordered a very expensive Almond Amaretto cake for our wedding. Extremely expensive. When we came in for a tasting it was amazing, wet, you could taste the amaretto. My husband and I were willing to pay for the quality, we didn't get. The cake they delivered? UTTER TRASH. We were humiliated in front of all of my guests. The minute during our wedding I cut into it, and had trouble because it was like gum. I knew. This was a HUGE MISTAKE and there's nothing I could do. The cake laid on each table untouched. Not even the CHILDREN ate it. Not even children ate this cake. There was no moisture whatsoever, just a bunch of butter and creme, it was horrible and very shameful. It was better our guests had no cake at all. Or we bought one from Walmart. That would have been better. I'm convinced we were bait and switched at the tasting. When calling and telling them- there's no reason to call someone and tell them your cake was so terrible no one touched it- other than- you contributed to ruining our wedding experience, the woman denies it at all. And says there was amaretto in it. There was not. Further more, if they cared about the truth, or their brand instead making money off people- the cake 90 percent of it is in my mother in laws freezer right now. Go pick it up. Eat it Try it, and you will see the trash you gave us priced at a 1,000. She was going to throw it away because no one will eat it, but I told her to keep it when we are in town to bring their trash back to them. Like how can you sell this to people and ruin their happy moments? And then lie. There was no amaretto in this cake. It was just horrible no matter what they did to it or say. The right thing to do would be refund us the trash and take it back from my mother in laws freezer. But even then it doesn't return the shame it brought me and my family to my guests. Okay, so I went in here a few weeks ago, it looks pretty nice from the outside, and the interior is also clean. It was my first time, and I got the shorter woman with dark hair (owner?). **My problem is she ended up short-changing me, on accident probably, but she refused to make good on it.** I made two orders, for around $2.17 and $3.00. I gave her a $5 on the first transaction and a $20 on the second. She explained to me she didn't have the correct change in her cash register, and went to the back room to get it. While this was going on, I was working on folding the bag of cookies and putting extra napkins inside. So, when she comes back, she only gives me $2, in quarters. For a $20 dollar bill and a $3.00 order. I should've gotten around $17 back in change. For some reason at the time I didn't even notice this blunder on her part, because I was mainly focusing on the array of desserts they have, I guess. So yeah, you could say I should've paid more attention, but I don't expect cashiers to give me the wrong change, she simply somehow thought the $20 was a $5. So I FINALLY noticed all this on my car drive home (I live an hour away), and called the store and got her on the phone. She said she would check the cameras and told me to come back to the store. I told her I was already nearly home and lived far away, so could I come back in a week or so when I'm in that area again? She agreed, and I had her take down my full name and number. She didn't do ANY of these things. She didn't check the cameras, she didn't write my name or number down, nothing. So, I came in there today, about 2 weeks later, and she acted as if she didn't remember me. NOBODY LOOKS LIKE ME, I KNOW YOU REMEMBERED ME LADY! Her attitude was as if I was trying to cheat or scam her, as if I was doing something wrong. It was her fault and I was being treated as if it was mine, or as if I was a criminal or something. I was actually going to buy some more stuff from here too, if she would've refunded my ~$17 like she should have. Just to be nice, too! I don't even like the stuff here, honestly it's not very good AT ALL, it's a bunch of weird cookies you've never heard of or seen that have weird crap in them like raspberry or weird nuts. Just not good at all, not tasty. Not saying this because of my experience with being short-changed either, it's just the truth. Perhaps I ordered the wrong things, but I ordered 10+ different cookies and all were pretty crappy. So yeah, what a waste of time. Hard to find honest people in this world.
