    Combination pho extra large $18
    Mo L.

I had combination pho large, $18 Awesome service. It wasn't busy , got seated right away, as soon as I walk in , someone took me to tablemn so they were very helpful and bring me everything I asked for. But not a big fan of the broth base. Sweeter side, and smell cinnamon, not a lot of meat ..... So kind of feel not good for value or not enough. Seating is comfortable, great for hangout and enjoy meals.

I've had better Vietnamese food but my sister lives this place so we eat here often! The service is excellent, everyone is extremely nice and they are very patient and knowledgeable of their menu and culture. The pho is a little bland, to me but they have these new veggie egg rolls that are superb! I will definitely be back, I don't have a choice because it is my sister's favorite restaurant.

Food was good. The murals on the wall are beautiful. There's plenty of options in the area so Nothing too special.

Great tasting food, the pho dat bich is amazing but its a little pricey. Regardless it was a great meal

Ordered claypot fish (ca kho) and pho. The pho beef is good. Pho chicken tastes like it has too much going on. Like chemically. Doesn't taste natural. The ca kho was on the saltier side. It could've used a bit of sugar or a sweetness to cut the salty a bit. Our server was nice and efficient. And the ambiance is nice too. It has the authentic feel from the decor but the music is your mix of mainstream and throwback music.

Food- very impressed with the bon Bo hue! I liked how they didn't include the big bone in there and instead used slice of beef. Very flavorful. Service - great service Ambiance - great ambiance!

It seems the restaurant went through new renovation, internal decor looks different. The new menu shows price hike as well. I still choose my favorite Pho Noodles: Pho Beef Combination, add $2 for large size. We also ordered Claypot Fish and Pho Beef. The huge bowl contains plenty of beef soup, it tasted good with raw bean sprouts and basil leaves, rice noodles were pretty normal, beef as well, I didn't like the sausage part. The claypot was too small size for the rice; spring rolls were fresh and healthy.

I've really enjoyed each meal we've had here. The service has always been polite and attentive...even if short staffed. Their Pho broth is rich in flavor, smooth with the perfect amount of rendered fat floating around the surface. They give a fair amount of meat, I've had more...but I've also had a lot less. Betel leaves are bouncy, crispy and loaded with lemongrass...love them! Now that they have re-opened we need to buy them back into our rotation. It's a perfect substitute for nights that we don't want to drive to BuHi or Duluth for dinner.

After being closed for a while for remodeling, I finally came back here to get my favorite salad. Unfortunately, the chicken salad is no longer on the menu. Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed it was was remodeled with decor that is more modern and more nondescript (boring). We were greeted and taken to a table. The menu is mostly the same, but slightly different, removing the best items in my opinion. Not sure if the remodel was due to new ownership or management, but removing the best items was surprising. The service was slow and not attentive at all. The 5 servers gathered around the new bar and talked to each other about crypto currency and completely ignored us. At one point, having sat with empty water glasses for greater than 15 minutes, we walked up to the bar and poured the refills ourselves. The servers...still unhelpful. The food was mediocre and service not good. I'm definitely not in a hurry to ever come back. What a shame.

Pricier than other local spots, but great quality and flavor. You get what you pay for so it's worth it. Things you should know: I. LOCATION Within a plaza with free private parking out front. II. SERVICE Friendly III. QUALITY Excellent. The portions are also large..! IV. CAPACITY Fair amount of available seating in the evening

The decor inside is honestly very pretty. I love the lighting and the mural artwork along the walls. I only took one picture of the artwork so you can appreciate the rest of it in person. The rest of the restaurant looks and feels like any other- booths, tables with chairs, a bar (not to sit at though), and a small waiting corner. The noise-level was average- and I didn't hear any music, so I'm guessing they don't play any. The staff was nice and courteous. They seated us quickly. While we were eating, my dad had a bit of an issue with eating his noodles, so I had to ask them for scissors so he cut them up into manageable spoonfuls. Come to find out, this was his first time trying Pho! He said it was OK, but it was hard to eat. My dad got the beef combination pho, of which I tried the broth. From the picture, you may notice that he didn't really add much of the toppings. Honestly, I thought that was a little strange, because his way into veggies. However, I found out that he is not fond of bean sprouts, and he thinks they taste like "dirt". I asked him to explain how he knew what dirt taste like, and he said, "well, they taste like how dirt smells". He also said that the beef tasted like school cafeteria meat. (I'm dying. ) However, that's not my summation of this dish. Based on the broth that I tasted and the quality of the meat that I saw, this is a good place for Pho. They definitely have their own take on the broth for their Pho as they add cloves. My dad described the flavor as "unidentifiable but with something like cinnamon"...so I gave it a sip and it was the cloves. Personally, I quite liked it. It added some depth to the broths' flavor. My sister had the "spicy" basil, chicken with rice. I tasted it and yes, it does have a bit of spiciness to it. It's not hot as in making your Mouse burst in the flames, but it does have a spiciness to it, that causes the back of your throat to react if you're not ready for it. In fact, at one point she got a good bit of that spicy kick right at the back of her throat, causing her to tear up and cough a little bit. I tasted it, and it was fine for me. She added some of the hoisin sauce and said after she added that it made it better for her. I ordered the sizzling beef, but I didn't want the fried rice that came with it... Rather, I wanted some stir-fried noodles... unfortunately, the waitress did not understand me. So, they brought me the pan, fried noodles cut into wedges. They didn't have much flavor, so I asked for some soy sauce (since there wasn't any at the table), and made a soy sauce and Sriracha dip that I really love on Korean pancakes and other such savory things. My sizzling beef came with a bed of artisan lettuces, some stir-fried onions and green onions, and the yummiest filet mignon. In my opinion, it was perfect. I forgot to take a picture, but we also tried the chicken spring rolls with peanut sauce, and they were OK. They were fresh and tasty and exactly what you would expect. My dad, of course, said that they were very chewy and commented on their "chewiness" a few different times even though he only ate half of a spring roll. So, as with any of my other reviews, give them a try or no? Definitely give them a try. In my opinion, they have some uniqueness as well as some real solid flavors and their customer service and ambience is very good.

    Shrimp spring rolls

My husband and I came here through a recommendation of a friend who raved about the pho and from the great reviews. It's located in a plaza with several eating establishments so it could get pretty packed. I got the beef pho with meatballs, lean brisket, and the steak (you can pick 3 meats). The broth was good; it tasted light. It wasn't the best I've ever tasted. I'm new to Atlanta so if I can't find a pho place I like, I'd probably come here again. With the lime, it tasted better. Husband got the chicken pad Thai. He liked it. It had the fire taste, which was a plus for us. A little bit more saucy than other pad thais. Our main complaint was the spring rolls. We first ordered the Vietnamese pork ham. Our server gave us the shrimp. We realized upon first bite. She didn't initiate fixing it for us. She just looked at us and asked what we wanted to do. Um.... idk? So we made the executive decision to give us both. It honestly wasn't anything special. It had shrimp, bean sprouts, and lettuce. It tasted fresh, but that was about it. When I bit into the Vietnamese pork ham spring roll it tasted sour and off. I've never had this type of ham before so I wasn't sure if that's how it was supposed to taste. When I asked a waiter about it, he said it was supposed to be sweet not sour. He later came back saying it was a bad batch. Seriously. What if I got sick from eating it? Why would you serve something that's been sitting there even if you have a big amount of it. You should be keeping track of the expiration dates. Despite the other food tasting fine, I really can't overlook this, so I'm taking some stars off of my review. The prices here are a bit steeper than other places. $14 for pho and $7.50 for spring rolls. The service is good when they can come to you (they did take out the bad spring roll from the bill although we still got charged for their order mistake). However, they don't check up on you or refill your water.

We loved the renovation of Le Mekong. We got the beef pho and spicy bun Bo hue. They just have one size, which is quite large portion of food! Friendly service from wait staff. A great ambiance and addition to the John's Creek area!

Is there a new chef? The quality of the food seems "different" compared to how it was before the remodel.

I’d have to say yes as the food has greatly degraded.

We got the Beef Flat Rice Noodle, the Pork Chop Dry Pot, and the Mapo Tofu. My favorite was definitely the Pork Chop Dry Pot! The pork was tender, the dish was well seasoned, and it wasn't overly spicy even though it looks quite spicy. The noodles were solid, would definitely order again. The Mapo Tofu was a little lacking in flavor in my opinion, but still a decent dish. All dishes came out in fairly large portions! I really wish I lived closer so that I could come more often - finding good chinese food in ATL is a little tough, so I'm so glad to have tried Hunan Garden. Prices are also very reasonable! The service is good! Usually chinese restaurants don't have the greatest service, but they were good about refilling our waters and not rushing us once we were done with our food. The food also came out pretty quick! Highly recommend!

Tried all the popular dishes and some weren't bad, but nothing jumped out as being worth trying again. One positive was the portion sizes were quite large for the price and in general is something I miss about dining in Georgia, so you definitely won't go hungry. The service was pretty disappointing. I'm not expecting top-notch at small spots like this but felt the staff was actually rather rude as opposed to just being purely inattentive. Overall it was an ok experience but given the abundance of Chinese-based restaurants in the area, probably won't be back anytime soon.

We decided to try Slurpin' Ramen Bar first. I had read that they originally started in California so I had a good feeling about it and I'm so glad we went! Their tonkotsu broth was probably the best I've had in the US. It was rich and full of flavor without feeling overly heavy. It was so good that we didn't want to leave any behind so we actually took the leftover broth with us for the 5-hour drive home (thankfully we had a cooler bag!). I immediately had to tell my son who's currently living in LA for college so he can visit one there too. This place is definitely going on our must-visit restaurant list from now on.

First, when you walk into the restaurant, it is very cute, has a bar for solo diners and booths incase you are in a group. The location is very cozy and the employees were great! Our server was very patient and had no problem explaining, re-explaining, and confirming with the chef if he wasn't 100% on an answer. I got a tofu rice bowl, which I typically don't get and it was delicious! I asked if the salad could be put on the side rather than in the bowl and was given a full side salad that I wound up mixing into my rice lol. I also added broccoli to the bowl, which I probably wouldn't do again because it was pretty bland, but overall the bowl was good. Now the vegan dumplings... were FANTASTIC! We shared the dumplings and everyone agreed that they were easily the best thing that we had eaten the whole day. The green color threw me off at first, but the crispiness and texture of the dumpling was amazing. I would love to go back and try the ramen to see how it measures up, but again, great experience. Also, when you are paying the check, they bring you a small bucket full of dum dum lollipops, which I thought was a great touch. Me and my adult guests all left like happy children, which is exactly how eating out should make you feel.
