The website claims traditional Italian with excellent food, and a casual but upscale tone. I was there last night with friends, but we could hardly hear each other talk. They kept coming out with flaming dishes accompanied by tambourines. Yep it sure was more like a Greek or Spanish, wild and noisy taverna. Last night my husband and I came here for dinner and met three close friends who we haven't seen in a long time join us. I ordered a marinara pizza and a seafood salad. The waiter brought me a pizza with seafood on it. My husband politely told them there was a mistake. He said I would never order pizza with clams and mussels. Instead of correcting the order, they argued with him. The owner was poking me in the back. My husband said, "Please don't touch my wife." Then they told us to leave. Very embarrassing. This is paradise. The only drawback is they're hidden from the main drag and you have to take a challenge to go there. Had the Burratina for starters, spectacular! Then we followed with Fettucine Carbonara and Branzino al Sale! What an amazing first course. The chef takes great care on his Carbonara sauce which we have found lacking in many Italian restaurants, we even think it's their own bacon they use! The Branzino surprised me, as they uncrusted it from the salt, I thought, looks dry. No way! It was juicy, flavorful but not overpowered and tender/flaky! We had 2 bottles of Gavi Gavi wine, a white wine with a flavor profile unique to that region of Italy! Italian cheesecake closed the meal and all the berries in the cheesecake were just amazing. And now the Lemoncello! On the house and made in house you can't say I'll just have one! Lowie and the team we're amazing as service goes hand in hand with food. I felt like I was back in Italy. Everything was delicious and of the highest quality. From the red blend wine (which was actually worth $19 a glass, to the fried calamari, zucchini and carrots to the fettuccine pasta special with shaved black truffle, to the panacotta and delicious, piping-hot Americana coffee (they even heated the milk)!!! Went here last night with friends from out of town. Order a appetizer Mozzarella Capris wasn't impressed at all. Say this is authentic Italian food no. Being from New York have eaten at many Italian restaurants this one and the price is just absolutely ridiculous. I wasn't impressed at all from the fake flowers on the table too the waiter . The prices where ridiculous for a meal that should be offered with a Salad or a side of pasta not 12 bucks for a side of spaghetti. The sauce was nothing special extremely bland . 19 bucks for the only wine they offer by the glass, probably could have bought the entire bottle in total wine for that price . Just everything I didn't expect from a place being on a side street ! Would not recommend this place . Come to west Delray Beach and go to Terra FIAMMA or even Sicilian oven for a quarter of the price and friendly people and much better food.... read more

We were in town to celebrate our anniversary and we were told we had ro try this place. It's a few blocks off of the whole Atlantic Ave. strip...but easy to get to. We arrived to the restaurant around 4:30 pm and decided to try the happy hour deal. We sat at the bar (the place was empty) and ordered some drinks (Grey Goose Dirty Martini & my husband let the bar tender choose for him.) The friendly bar tender made equisite drinks. We ordered a few rounds of food (tasting sizes) and ....omg!!! So good. The lasagna, meatballs and calamari was amazing. We mentioned it was our anniversary and a few minutes later, they (the bar tender and 2 of the sister owners, came out screaming and excitedly crowning my husband and I. They had a beautiful and extremely delicious dessert ( a rasberry mousse cheesecake with a plate that had the words "happy anniversary" written with berry syrup!!! So sweet and made us feel special. The owners spoke with us for a bit and mentioned that they just opened this second location. They have another Le Sorelle in Boca. This place is a "must do"! All I can say is wow! The food quality stands out as well as outstanding service! We have been here a few times before and it is always good! We started off with a couple of drinks and they give you little PCs of bread which is very nice. Our waiter Giuseppe is fantastic, you won't get better than that. He helped my wife choose her wine and knows the menu, listen to him he will direct you perfectly. We decided to have a margarita pizza and Branzino alla griglia. First the pizza it's great, the freshest ingredients and perfectly cooked, we loved it. Now the branzino, it's a nice portion and easy to share. So happy to have chosen to go there for a relaxing evening in Delray. Be sure to ask them for your shot of lemon chello. I cannot offer any criticism which is unusual when going out these days. THE BEST! This is one of our favorite dinner spots, especially for a special occasion. We are always treated like family and the environment is so comfortable! A group of us went to Le Sorelle for my birthday last weekend, and WE HAD A BLAST!!!! The staff, especially the owner was absolutely hysterical, so welcoming and celebrated along with us. Every dish we ordered was delicious, including the pizza, pastas, and their salt baked fish, just amazing. When a restaurant provides a menu where every item is written in Italian, one would expect authentic Italian cuisine. Unfortunately, not here. We started with the owner-recommended clams casino. Unfortunately, the best part of this appetizer was his mouthwatering description. The bread stuffing was just okay, but the clams were so chewy and tough that no one ate them. We also had chicken Parmesan, because, who ruins a simple dish like that? The bubbly and lightly browned mozzarella cheese made for a nice presentation and the portion was very generous. However, someone needs to train their chef to make good tomato sauce. Next, the Strozzapreti all'Amatriciana. The homemade pasta was very nice, but again, the sauce ruined the dish. The menu says bacon and cherry tomatoes. Well, we didn't notice any cherry tomatoes and the bacon was so hard it seemed as if they added a jar of bacon bits to the sauce. The chicken Caesar salad was nice, but there was very little dressing provided. The best entree was the salmon which they cooked in their brick pizza oven. It was cooked perfectly and the oven provided a nice crusty top. So, my recommendation for this self-proclaimed Italian restaurant is to stay clear of the Italian cuisine. On a very positive note, the restaurant was very clean, well decorated, and the staff very pleasant and extremely accommodating. Also, we did not try their pizza. Was watching a movie at the IPIC on a rare date night with my husband. We did not want to eat our rare date night dinner at the movie theater so we ate next-door to it at this restaurant. What a pleasant surprise. We sat at the bar because we didnt have a reservation and it was Saturday night. We met the most pleasant bartender Luisito. We split a Caesar salad and the Carbanora. More than enough food for the both of us. I had a couple of glasses of Pinot noir and my husband had 2 beers. Food was good. Priced as expected. Quaint friendly environment. I have never given a one star review before. The noise inside was over whelming. It was impossible to hold any type of conversation. We had to lean over the table just to say anything to each other. I ordered the Veal Chop. It took over 45 minutes to receive. It was ordered medium and what I received was very well done. They did offer to remake the dish, but I didn't want to wait again while my wife was eating. I asked for the Lasagna which came out fairly quickly. Unfortunately it was cold. If it was properly heated, it would have been delicious. No one ever came to the table to ask how the lasagna was. My wife's dish was good, but not exceptional.
