I've been to Leaf and Grain a couple of times, and I finally figured I would leave a review. I love their bowls and now sandwiches! The avocado club was so good I love avocado. The bacon on it was the perfect crispyness too. It came out quickly! The Pollo Laredo has been my go-to salad recently. I'm a big fan of the tortilla chips and the rice, and the Laredo has both of those (and avocado!). The store itself is cute and not too noisy. It has great outdoor seating and the line moves very fast. Highly recommend! read more

Dropped in for dinner after work one night because my partner and I wanted something light and didn't want to cook. The salads were excellent, good sizes, not to big or too small. The fresh bread was also delicious. Only reason I'm doing four stars instead of five is because the drink section is rather limited. We were both fine with water or iced tea that night, but if you're looking for something caffeinated or sweeter than tea to go with your salad, there isn't much to choose from. Will definitely return. Dinner time was probably way less busy than lunch would be given the location, which meant there was plenty of space to sit and we were able to have a conversation without having to talk over others. read more

The food at Leaf and Grain makes me want to do a workout. It tastes so healthy, gets me right for the day with protein, and is outright delicious. The service matches the quality of food -- my sandwich was personally delivered by an owner. I think his name was Ed. The restaurant is so popular that it is often packed, but the line never takes more than a couple of minutes. The AC in there cranks which is huge for these hot HTX summers. read more

I needed a group lunch order for 15 people the other day and every person had made their own choice. I called the restaurant and was helped by Kevin who gladly took each order. I arrange these lunches every week and I have to say this was one of the easiest, thus the most efficient experience I have had in a long time. We first ate here when Weslayan flooded, and we were impressed that the manager was treading through the flood water where cars were stuck to offer free snacks and water. The service here is beyond exceptional. The salads and bowls use fresh vegetables and taste amazing. I definitely recommend the L&G Cesar Salad and the Alamo Bowl. The Parmesan crisps on the Cesar are super yummy! The coffee tastes different, but it's delicious. It's very smooth and does not have any bitterness. The employee who makes the coffee (Susan) is so friendly and freaking awesome. She was very genuine and recognized us immediately, despite only having gone to Leaf and Grain once before! Ordered delivery for work lunch and it was AMAZING. I got the Good Greek! warm bowl and it was a large portion, reasonable at under 500 calories, and so tasty. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. The feta is honestly fantastic and I lovvvvve the vinaigrette. It's also so reasonably priced! The immunity bowl and Alamo are getting rave reviews around me too so we will definitely be adding this into our rotation! The only wish I would have is a larger paper bag for delivery orders--the small green ones didn't work so well and our food was in there lopsided (did not affect the excellent taste). read more

A great salad bar with a concept much like sweet green. I feel this place has some very unique salad pairings that set it apart. Portions are huge and very filling. Salads aren't usually my go to for dining options but I do go out of my way to make it to this place. read more

First the positives - THANK YOU For bringing a healthy food option to Houston. We are so in need of them. Leaf and Grain uses mostly sustainable serving ware as well so good for the planet! I tried the Pollo Laredo salad and I'm sorry to say it was a big disappointment. The cilantro jalapeño dressing tasted more like a vinaigrette and made the lettuce soggy. The chips were bad - this is Texas after all. There wasn't much else to it. I would occasionally find a corn kernel and a tomato which did seem very fresh. Suggestions would be: better chips or thin tortilla strips that won't get soggy, a cilantro jalapeño RANCH dressing, more corn/tomato and possibly something like fresh cilantro added. read more

Super delicious bowls with a huge selection of fresh ingredients. The Good Greek is a fantastic bowl and I highly recommend it. All the ingredients are tasty and fresh, especially love the chicken and brown rice. Staff is super friendly and nice, the decor inside is very clean and neat. Ordering online via mobile was a snap.
