I saw good reviews on this place and decided to try it for a take out lunch, since it was only a 2 minutes walk from the condo where I stayed. I was handed a lunch menu that has only 3 choices for plate lunch, and ordered a Hawaiian bbq chicken plate. The bbq chicken was very dark and tough. The meat looked like it had been sitting in some soy sauce marinade for too long, and did not even have any grilled taste to it. It was the most overpriced mediocre food I've paid for in Waikiki. Don't know if their dinner foods are any better, but based on what I got for lunch, I can't give it more than 2 stars. read more

We stopped here for lunch on our last beach day on 07/28/22. I had the fish tacos and a mai tai and my wife had the steak don. The food and drink were fantastic! We were the only one on the lanai when we arrived but like everywhere we go, people started filing in after we arrived. We have to write a review for their newly offered brunch! Dutch Baby, a type of pan baked thick crepe-like delight covered with sweet fruit or savory bites, is a brunch treat you should consider trying! The shrimp omelette and taro pancakes were also tasty treats! We couldn't decide what to order so we ordered extra to share and try everything and we were glad we did, we had great leftovers! The location is amazing one block from Waikiki beach and the service is friendly as they spend much time catering to their customers. Leahi is a must on our return happy hour list. The staff is welcoming and we didn't wait long to be seated with menus. Sabrina was our server and made the experience a thousand times more fun and enjoyable- someone give them a raise(: The bar didn't skimp on the drinks and the food menu is unique and comes out hot. This place is nice, very small, with a great atmosphere. However, we went for breakfast and they were incredibly slow for only having 10 tables, 7 of which were taken. Once we waited 25 mins for our food, it was incorrect. Furthermore, they don't have any "protection" from the pigeons and they just hover around while you're trying to eat. Finally, the surf shop below LOVES to paint their logo on the bottom of their boards while you're trying to eat so you'll get a nice smell of spray paint while eating. Updating after we got our food. Not only was it no where close to being correct, it was also extremely bland. I did however enjoy a nice show of pigeons eating food off of someone's tables while they were sitting and waiting for their check. Don't even bother coming here. Not worth it at all. read more

The loco moco was decent but their ABC Chicken sandwich sadden their whole menu. The meat was raw and all you can taste was the avocado. Their lunch "special" is a scam. On the original menu it says $10 for wings then on their lunch it says $12. I don't recommend their coke either but the wings were decent. read more

Great happy hour specials. My wife and I split a burger and this place went above and beyond and actually served us both individually plated half burgers with a side of fries. The burger patty was okay, but the bun and toppings were nice and fresh. The fries were the standout item. Imagine the best, freshest McDonalds fries, but even better. I like that in Hawaii they do not let people enter without showing vaccines proof and ID. Later went and had the Loco Moco. Type of mixed and seasoned beef patty over a couple scoops of rice and covered with a brown gravy topped with a fried egg and a side of salad. Apparently a favorite meal for any time of the day. Great Experience! We came here a little over a week ago while visiting friends in Honolulu. Our server was Tia and she was absolutely amazing! Literally could not have asked for better service.
